So we visited the aquarium and afterwards we were looking for a place to eat. There was one review that really enticed me to come here and basically the person said they'd eaten in several different restaurants but kept coming back to this one. From the moment we entered until the time we left it was a really great experience. There is plenty of outside seating but we were very hot and I noticed they had an indoor seating with a huge glass front looking out onto the dining room and it was perfect. Nice and cool and comfortable. The weight staff was professional and competent and not overbearing and very patient. You can get by not knowing Spanish but no one's spoken English. We ordered the tuna ceviche with mangas and requested it without pico and came out perfect. It wasn't very acidic at all and everything was fresh and feeding the onions and mango and they had no picante just as we asked. We tried three different tacos. The regular fish taco, the short taco and the grilled octopus taco. They come three to an order and were around 240 pesos. I think one order of tacos would have been enough for the three of us. At the portions were huge. These were some of the best tasting tacos I've ever had. I mean they were up there with the great a tacos. The shrimp was tender and actually tasted like shrimp. Huge large shrimp. The tacos were fabulous. They came with their special sauce on top which is very mildly spicy. They really featured the fish. The fish tacos were also out of this world and even better than the shrimp tacos. The octopus tacos were perfect. Very tender almost melt in your mouth grilled octopus and the soft tortillas were filled to the brim with really great tasting well seasoned grilled octopus. It was me my mother and my daughter and I think that the ceviche which was the 250 g order and two orders of tacos or more than enough. They had Coke zero which was great and the waiter are new to bring it with ice and a glass without asking. My daughter ordered the 1 l horchata and it really was a great horchata, definitely homemade, I think. I ordered a tecate rosa and it hit the spot. This meal is going down as a very memorable one for me. It was just perfect. Not typical. I mean everything just tasted so amazing and the fish really stood out. Whoever was preparing it really did know how to cook. I would say just a perfect place for atmosphere drinks and food. I think our total came to about 1,000 pesos and I think it was a value meal. I believe this place was about a 7 to 10 minute walk past the aquarium. If you are on the fence about where to eat or if you just Don't want to waste a meal on a bad unknown restaurant then you just have to come here. Don't think about it just eat here. I know the place has over a thousand views but I don't think it's a tourist trap. I think this is authentic amazing food and the people that run this place really know what they're doing and they make it look easy.

One of the best food I had here in Veracruz city , would love to visit again. The sea view is just ossum here and the tacos I had were so good and delicious especially the tuna and shrimp tacos

The food is so good and fresh, drinks are super cold especially considering the warm weather. And the service is fast and friendly. Great place to eat nearby the school of marine merchant

Great and friendly servers. I had the ceviche especial which I enjoyed. My friend had some cooked fish with veggies he wasn’t a fan of. Other friend had fish tacos which he loved. Guac was good too. And the choco flan. Nice area and ambience.

We stayed for a month in Veracruz and we were so happy to discover this restaurant! We ate at many restaurants, but this quickly became our favorite. We dined-in several times and also often picked up food to take to our Airbnb. The food is exceptional, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the location couldn't be better! Everything we tried was excellent, with our favorites being the ceviche especial, and anything shrimp. Their food was by far some of the best around and the prices were comparable to other restaurants around, even those off the main boulevard. We speak very little Spanish, and the wait staff was very helpful and kind, even though they spoke little to no English. We highly recommend this restaurant!
