Torneremo sicuramente!
Everything was excellent, from the appetizer of puntarelle and artichokes with shrimp and calamari. We then ordered roast suckling pig and a stew, finishing with excellent desserts: tiramisu with Sardinian pistoccus, grandma's cake, and panettone with gianduia cream. All washed down with an excellent Valdobbiadene wine. Excellent service and professionalism, thanks to all the restaurant staff. Beautiful Christmas decor! 🤗
We booked lunch for my daughter's Confirmation. The restaurant is located in front of the Naviglio Canal, and the atmosphere is welcoming and quiet. Excellent food, friendly and efficient service. The owner was helpful, and the organization was impeccable. Everything went smoothly. Nice selection of dishes and menus. We had a great time. Recommended!
A very welcoming restaurant on the Naviglio Canal, with a charming atmosphere and attention to detail. Excellent dishes with fresh ingredients and refined presentation. Impeccable service, friendly and attentive staff. Excellent value, considering we also ordered wine and dessert. Highly recommended.
Great place to stop for lunch when cycling out from Milan to Abbiategrasso or Gaggiano. The staff were very friendly. Food was excellent and service was great. Glad I stopped by to rest and lunch.
A wonderful experience! If you're looking for refined dishes and unique flavors, this is the place. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff is friendly and welcoming, every dish is a flavorful experience, and the real challenge is deciding which dish to try from all the options on the menu. The location is beautiful; the restaurant overlooks the canal and is in a quiet, natural setting. The last point: the price: honestly, for the quality of the products, the sophistication of the dishes, and the service, the price is incredible. I'm used to restaurants in and around Milan, so there's no comparison. You eat better for a MUCH less. I'm sure that as soon as word gets out, this place will have waiting lists lasting weeks. Trying is believing!
Excellent experience! Excellent food and quality ingredients. The staff was very professional and friendly! Highly recommended, and I recommend the Ligurian-style chicken, it was amazing. The location was also excellent, very fairytale and Christmassy ❤️ it made everything even more magical.
An enchanting location, surrounded by greenery, it felt like a fairytale. A welcome worthy of the best hosts. They showed us to our table and immediately offered us water and a glass of prosecco to welcome us. While we waited, we nibbled on some delicious pastries that whet the appetite. We ordered two appetizers, a heifer tartare and a salad of very fresh raw porcini mushrooms topped with parmesan cheese, both excellent. To continue, on the waiter's recommendation, we tried the risotto with porcini mushrooms and blueberries that was "out of this world" and a sea bass in a potato crust with lime and pink peppercorns. L'insatiabile also ordered a sliced beef with vegetables. What can I say? Satisfied palates, excellent menu, and very fresh ingredients. Very welcoming staff, they help make you feel at ease in a warm and family atmosphere. Prices are a little higher than average, but worth every penny. Absolutely worth trying again and again, especially the outdoor garden, dining surrounded by all those roses is an experience not to be missed!
Visited on 23/12/2018: My husband, son and I were running late for a lunch with friends. On arrival we were informed that the kitchen closes in 40 minutes as we were intially 45 minutes late. I thought I had to rush to order, maybe skip a starter or eat quick. But not in this place. The service was quick, chefs pragmatic and location a divine place for birds. We ate very chilled, enjoyed the wine as I gazed at the birds outside. The place is quite hidden, peaceful and aesthetically very pleasing to the eye. I have some snapshots of dishes from all friends.
Great food and great service. The music was very relaxing and the location out in the country made it romantic. We happened to come along it on a bike ride and were welcome even in our athletic clothes amd without reservation to this enchanting classy restaraunt. The owner was accomidating to this english speaker and was patient with my confusion with the menu. I will go here again.
Locale ben arredato con tante piccole "cicche"personale professionale e molto cordiale...ma cosa fondamentale, piatti ben presentati e veramente ottimi, il risotto ...un esplosione di gusto. lo consiglio vivamente da provare !!
My wife and I dined at this restaurant on a Saturday evening. We were immediately greeted and shown to our table, no wait. The restaurant itself is very quaint, although I would change a few things. The appetizers were good; the eggplant flan, enriched by the acidity of the yellow cherry tomatoes, was delicious. The only downside was the parmesan chips, which lacked crunch and texture. The burrata tartare, seasoned very lightly to highlight the ingredients, lacked punch. The first courses were also good; the risotto alla Milanese with osso buco was a pleasant surprise. Everything was perfectly combined, the meat was incredibly tender, and the rice was cooked to perfection. I would have just liked a little more flavor. The porcini mushroom risotto with pork cheek was also good. For dessert, we ordered the classic torta della nonna, but instead of a slice, we received a filled shortcrust pastry tart. It was good, but there were some things that needed updating: the cream inside was too firm; perhaps it should have been taken out of the fridge a few minutes earlier.
Refined atmosphere, it almost feels like an old place, but I don't know if it really is. It's beautiful regardless. Service... okay, but today there's only one waiter who runs around a lot. It makes me a little anxious, but he's very efficient. I don't know if it's always like this. It's not a place for happy vegetarians; it seems more geared towards carnivores.
Let's start by saying that the place is very beautiful and welcoming. We overlook the Naviglio, and I must say that the location is excellent, the staff are always helpful, and the food is excellent. Being vegetarian, I wasn't able to try the fish, but from the reactions of my friends, I can say that it was excellent quality. Definitely a place we'll return to.
A hidden, well-located restaurant with a pleasant view, but perhaps a bit cold. The customer parking lot is a bit rustic and difficult to access. For starters, we ordered snails, cabbage rolls, and puntarelle salad. We then continued with the first course, osso buco (the rice was a bit overcooked but not overpowering, the meat was very good) and tagliolini with wild boar and blueberry. To finish, dessert and coffee. Prices were slightly higher than usual, with a €3 cover charge that was justified given the welcome, which included prosecco, zeppole, tarallini, breadsticks, and bread. The staff were kind and helpful, perhaps a bit slow... they took a long time to hand out menus, almost longer than the wait for the dishes, which, however, was not short. One other thing: we often had to ask for off-menu items ourselves, having heard about them at other tables, since they weren't offered them. The wines weren't the best, and the selection was limited. Overall we had a good time, thanks to the goodness of the food, with quite sophisticated and successful combinations, and the hospitality of the waiters.
Beautiful location, very romantic for two but also nice for bigger events! The food was amazing and we had a good experience. It felt very authentic.

A beautiful restaurant, historic and rustic, spacious both inside and out. The dishes are delicious, plentiful, and carefully crafted, very unique with deliciously balanced flavors. Unfortunately, the staff was sparse, and the wait between courses was noticeable. There are some details that could be addressed to avoid appearing "sloppy." Like the insects found on the tablecloth under the one that's regularly changed (meaning they never clean or change it), cobwebs in the corners, wires dangling from broken crates... Let's just say it's scenic at first glance. But if you look closely, you'll find imperfections.
Three stars because, let's just say, there were ups and downs, but the food was good quality. Location: Very rustic, somewhat run-down, decidedly poorly maintained. The garden is a bit run-down. There are some outdoor tables with MUSHROOMS growing on the edges. The Christmas decorations inside were sloppily put up, falling apart, and looking sad. Looking up at the ceiling, you could see some glass windows grayed out by dirt and cobwebs in some places. Food: Excellent quality of ingredients and unique recipes. The meat was cooked poorly (raw, cooked, and stringy depending on the slice you chose). The vol-au-vents were as hard as marble. Many dishes arrived lukewarm or even cold. Service: The waiters kept forgetting or getting the drink orders wrong. It took 10-15 minutes to get a drink or a fork. A good hour's wait for the main course, with irritating questions like "were you waiting for dessert or the main course?" (which arrived cold). Price: definitely a bit high for the service offered
