A charming little place with a carefully selected variety of exquisite wine and delicate food. We only stayed a week in Lovere, but did come back three times. Always a recommendation on hand, the owner takes time to find the wine and food you (might) like. We visited a lot of restaurants during our stay at lake Iseo, but never found anything quite like Cafe Caprini.

A place I will never forget. Very authentic, amazing wine, fine food and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The waitress very caring and empathetic. She made a huge effort by listening to us and took time to explain wich wine fits best with the food (and even with your personal taste). If you visit Lovere, it is definitely worth a visit. In the old medieval village of Lovere, reachable on foot, you will find this charming bar. Nice staff and great coffee.

It's a great place for an aperitif and small snacks. The atmosphere is very positive and the owner seemed very friendly. However, I wouldn't recommend going there for a "proper dinner". I had chicken with salad and the chicken was super dry with no extra sauce and the salad was just plain with no dressing :( No idea what happened there....

The place looks good, but when we ordered (appartently irregular) a dish at 6pm the staff kept making fun of us and laughing behind our backs. Shame that they did it even after we paid.
