The villa itself is fantastic! It has one of the most beautiful and romantic views ever! However, much of the credit goes to those who took it and restored it with such care and passion, making the most of it! There are so many evenings and events not to be missed, and if you're looking for a venue for your wedding and you love the sea, well, you'll never find a better place than this. We got married in May 2018 and it was an incredible celebration!!!! Our guests traveled quite a few miles to attend, but they were enchanted... The staff was incredibly kind and friendly, and Claudia, who was my wedding planner at the time, was truly competent and affable. Due to work-related issues, I had to organize everything over the phone or WhatsApp, but thanks to her, everything was almost perfect! Come here, whether for dinner, an evening, or for your big day, go there, it's a place that will remain in your heart!

Romantic dinner, superb location, very friendly waiter. The food wasn't up to par. It doesn't take a Michelin-starred chef to make some dishes well, just good will. The scallops in the dessert were old... decidedly bland, a shame because they were homemade. My advice is to hire a new chef. The bill wasn't adequate. Good luck.

Beautiful view, but terrible tourist treatment – ​​a disappointment at Porticiollo Gourmet The place has a beautiful view, but it was completely empty, and the attitude toward customers was anything but fair. We were three adults and three children (ages 4-6). We ordered a bottle of wine listed at €30 on the menu for an aperitif, but when we got the bill, we were charged €40. When we asked for clarification, we were told, "Why did you have an aperitif?" Only then was it explained to us that a few slices of pizza, chips, and peanuts (which we hadn't specifically requested) transformed the aperitif into an aperitif. The only thing we had asked for was to avoid gluten for a child with an allergy. The only information we received initially was that a cocktail costs €15. Otherwise, we were simply given a menu, with no explanation or indication of supplements. Plus: three children's juices for €10 each. Excessively expensive. It's not a matter of a few extra euros, but of a lack of transparency and the way we were treated: as if we were just "tourists passing through." It's a shame we come to Rapallo for two months every year. We don't recommend it. There are many other places in downtown Rapallo with half the prices, a friendlier welcome, and the same view. We stopped there to try it... but we won't be returning.

The setting is undoubtedly evocative: a 19th-century villa overlooking the sea, promising a high-quality experience. Unfortunately, the reality of the New Year's Eve dinner was far from our expectations. The decision to host dinner on the terrace, protected only by plastic sheets and devoid of any heating system, proved profoundly inappropriate for the season and the type of event. When we asked for clarification on the lack of heaters, we were told that they hadn't been provided, a difficult justification for an event of this caliber. The cold was so cold that it made it impossible to enjoy the evening, even a meal served at such a high price. Only after about an hour did they attempt to alleviate the problem by handing out blankets, a late and wholly inadequate intervention. After the appetizer, we were forced to leave, as were the other guests, all visibly disappointed. An epilogue that should never be the case for an experience that bills itself as "luxury." A historic location of this caliber deserves more attentive management and respect for guest comfort. A New Year's Eve to forget, unfortunately.
