This bar is in a strategic location, but the real difference is made by the people who work there. They're always available, friendly, and offer excellent quality products. And last but not least, they're always open! Overall, it's our favorite bar, and my son absolutely loves them.

I like this place because it has both a bar and a tobacconist, and a beautiful outdoor terrace with lots of colorful geraniums and a well-fenced garden. What I always do is have breakfast, which is excellent because it has a lot of variety and also offers vegan brioches. I love the whole-wheat brioche with berries.

Bar and tobacconist. A very welcoming and clean place, with tables available (also outside in season), conveniently located near the bus stop and not far from the Martinez clinic. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our only recommendation to customers: don't park in a way that blocks pedestrians' access on the sidewalk.

It's a place, not just any tobacconist's, a place to stop for a snack or a quick lunch—no problem. The courtesy and friendliness of "Boss" Danilo, the owner, and the friendly and capable bartenders make this place a must-visit. Great Boss!

Excellent bar located in Pegli on the bend before the Castelluccio straight. Attentive staff, and seating inside and out. I would have given the atmosphere more stars if it weren't so difficult to find a parking spot for a motorcycle or car, and if the outdoor seating wasn't close to a fairly busy road.

I often go to the Awakening bar, and for me it's a must-stop before arriving in Voltri. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly, and the products are of good quality. The outdoor area, set up with tables and chairs for a quick break at breakfast and lunch, is interesting and pleasant. I would have given it a five if it had parking.

They reopened after the holidays. I missed their onion focaccia and their delicious coffee. In the morning, two young ladies, both named Sara, always welcome you with a smile and by name.
