One of my favorite restaurants in the world. The food is amazing, the service is spectacular, the staff and owners are amazingly friendly, and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. In addition, the menu includes English, and Stefania, owner/waitress, speaks it at an almost native level. The restaurant is always busy, but they seem to always find an available table, although advance reservations are strongly recommended on weekends. Everything on the menu is homemade, from the home cured anchovies to the pesto, and of course the wide, creative and varying weekly array of ravioli - a house specialty. On any given day one can find on the menu around 3 seafood based ravioli dishes, 3 meat based ravioli dishes, as well as vegetarian ravioli dishes. Personally, I also love the simple side dish of grilled vegetables, which is simple delicious! Update November 12, 2025: Now on the current menu are, among others, mescciüa (antipasto) and duck breast ravioli. Both dishes are outstanding, and the duck ravioli, served with a simple butter sauce with orange zest and thyme is suggestive of canard à l'orange - simply amazing!

Pepe Nero, a must go to restaurant in La Spezia. We were served by Simone and all his recommendations were outstanding. A big applause to their cooking staff, the ravioli Baccalato and Mortufo were amazing, the desserts Tiramisù and Il Godurioso (chocolate and almond) were delicious. Grazie Mille!

Best food in La Spezia!!! Calamari and steak with mushrooms were unbelievably good cooked and tasty!!!! The size of portions was normal-middle (which is great 👍🏻), the service was great and they spoke English 🙏🤍 Best place we were in the whole city! If you are tired of eating “bread” (pizzas, focaccias, etc.) and you’d like to eat healthy food like veggies and meat/fish - this place is the best choice ever!!! Saved into my list and highly recommended to anyone ❤️

Overall a pleasant experience. The restaurant is plainly decorated and feels quite light and modern although in places is a bit kitsch in places (snow white in the window!). The mussel pasta was relatively light, but had a good flavour. I would particularly recommend the stuffed mussels though. They were each quite large and had a delicious and intense herby and meaty flavour which was a new experience for me. The service was also good.

Stumbled upon this hidden gem while looking for somewhere to have dinner. We were actually there before they opened for dinner and the nice gentleman allowed us to come inside and have a drink and scope the menu before dinner service at 7pm. Ordered drinks and starters then of course while in Italy you gotta have Pizza. Was served by our waitress Jana who was friendly and spoke good English. 👍👍up from me

Ottime pizze, buono l’impasto e gli ingredienti. La scelta delle pizze è vasta. Le attese sono un po’ lunghe. Prezzo nella media. Obbligatoria è la prenotazione sopratutto nel fine settimana.

The restaurant was almost full at 20.30, we got just about the last table for two. The waiters were very busy that evening, but the service was very good for us. It took ~20min for them to take the orders. We were conserned about how long it would take to get the food, but we got our orders in less than 15 minutes after ordering. We ordered tuna fillet and fried cod, the food was very good, but a bit too salty. We were very pleased with the food, and good service we got, despite the busy night for the staff.

Food was good, service in time sense was fast ( in fully packed place we, 4persons, waited around 20 minutes), but 4 stars because of the waiters. It looked like they were running marathon. Really tired faces, almost running to each other on the entrance and the waiter who took our order was not really there, she was already somewhere "away" while taking our order.

Sono andato qualche giorno fa ed ho voluto provare la pizza, sinceramente non è che mi abbia entusiasmato particolarmente perché ne ho mangiato decisamente di migliori in giro. Ho visto che molti tavoli nel locale prendevano i primi o i secondi ed erano soddisfatti della scelta fatta. Nulla da dire sul personale che è stato celere a soddisfare le nostre richieste. Voglio dare fiducia al locale e ci voglio ritornare per provare altre pietanze.

if you’re broke and have no money this place might be the best place to eat cause it’s quite cheap compared to other places. on the other hand the taste of pizza here are really low quality i could understand the food on the pizza might be not tasty but i don't understand how a chef in italy can make pizza dough so dry and tasteless. i think they cook pizza dough in a pan.

Pizze arrivate, a seguito di un sollecito, dopo 45 minuti, di cui una bruciata e dal sapore discutibile; era sabato sera ma non deve essere una giustificazione, meno tavoli garantirebbero un servizio migliore.

Abbiamo ordinato 2 pizze di qui quasi 11€ l’una per il motivo che abbiamo aggiunto delle cose in più. le quali tutte piene di pomodoro, molto povera di ingredienti e poca mozzarella (Anche se è stata richiesta “doppia”)) manca pure l’impasto per quanto è sottile.

Il mio migliore amico dopo aver mangiato una pizza qua è venuto a dormire da me e ha vomitat, mi ha anche specificato che non era la prima volta che vomitava dopo che mangiava da voi. Non consiglio questo posto.

20€ 7 ravioli e una bottiglia d’acqua mi sembra un po’ too much..ah dimenticavo 4 € un amaro che è buona usanza offrire tranne che qua (2€ di coperto 3 fette di pane dell’ospedale) direi mai più .
