Wandered past when I was looking for food around 3.30pm and nothing was open (November 2025), found a delightful surprise here. Weather was cold but the cosy restaurant, food and wine wonderfully warmed me up from the inside. Food was perfect - the lasagna was seasoned well, tender and the meat ratio perfect. The chianti and tiramisu was also 👌🏼 I had some delicious chest nuts too. Good service. Overall, reasonably priced and great taste, especially compared to all the other extremely expensive restaurants in Varenna and Bellagio I ate at which had very mediocre food. Thank you very much ☺️
As a family of 3 we stopped here for lunch on our day trip to mennagio. Its a small cozy environment. Has a toilet and seating for dining separate from the bar. The food was excellent. We ordered a Lasagne and a Pizza and both were excellent. The Pizza particularly was excellent very rich and tasty. Probably the best pizza i had on my entire trip around Como. Prices were also very reasonable not the usual tourist trap type place.
We stopped here for an Aperol Spritz and enjoyed sitting outdoors, watching the world go by. It’s the perfect spot for that. A little more tucked away, it was more quiet when we were there.
Nothing like an alley way lunch. The rose was amazing and you have to get the caprese ❤️❤️ it was so fresh and good.
Wonderful little pub/enoteca in the heart of Menaggio - tucked away in an alley is Bar Al Paladar - wonderful attentive service, great wine selection, first time I’ve seen Barbera on a list in Como 🙌🍷and it was only €4 a glass - 😳 great little appetizer snacks some pizza slices, chips and crackers. A great chill place away from the crowds - search it out, you’ll be glad.

Lovely hidden gem with brilliant prices. Lovely pasta and incredible tiramisu! Service was quick and food was brilliant. We had carbonara and tagliatelle with bolognese. Would definitely recommend
Delicious pasta & tiramisu, great service & reasonably priced! We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and spaghetti cacio e Pepe and both were delicious.
Stopped in here for a quick bite before closing at 2 pm. Great little place on a quiet alleyway. Panini and cantelope with prosciutto. Add a spritz and you’re all set! Highly recommend
Pasta was unbelievable and pizza was delicious! Highly recommend!! I got the green gnocchi with Mediterranean sauce and it was *chefs kiss* the best pasta I’ve had while in Menaggio!
Wow! This place was so good! The pasta is to die for! Nothing like it! The service was really good. This nice little quick place is a hidden gem! Perfect for a quick lunch!
We had here a good Pizza and coffee for a reasonable price. Would come back again 😊 It's nice to sit outside in the small street.
The first place we found real fresh orange juice and where they gave us extra cheese for the pasta. The pizza dough was not the best.
Okay experience, fulfilling dishes, anything special and not something I will remember. In my pasta with salsiccia I found 4 little peaces of meet. Wine was amazing 👌
Popped in here for lunch during our day trip to Menaggio. I ordered the cacio e pepe spaghetti and my friend ordered the pesto. My dish was incredibly saucy - like drowning in sauce which was a bit odd as cacio e pepe is normally just oil / Parmesan / pepper so not sure why it was so wet! It was still yummy though but maybe needed a bit more pepper My Friend enjoyed her pesto though I didn’t try so can’t comment but it looked excellent! Good portion sizes and very very reasonably priced. Came out quick too! Would recommend for a quick, casual lunch
The food isn’t anything spectacular but it’s still good and perfect for a casual bite. There’s a little something for everyone— pizzas, hamburgers, pasta, salads, paninis (although these are more baguette sandwiches), etc. I recommend the Cacio e Pepe pasta. Staff is very nice!
Good drinks, really nice snacks with the aperitivi, very friendly and english-speaking waiter. When we came in the afternoon they were sold out of all food.
Food nice and came out pretty quickly. We ordered spaghetti Cacio e Pepe. However, the waitress was extremely rude I guess because we can’t speak Italian. She was ok with other Italian speaking guests. No Bonjourno, Grazie or even a smile from her. I guess because we were English tourists. If you don’t like tourists get another job!!
Food was greasy and awful, carbonara was a pasta with scrambled eggs and olive oil, pizza taste like a frozen premade from store. Not recommended
