We ate here last night and couldn’t fault it. We only had pizzas, so can’t comment on anything else but what we did have was really tasty and great value for money. Proper wood fired pizzas for €10-€12 is great. The service was good and all staff were lovely and very accommodating. It was pretty busy but the food came out in good time. It is an authentic Italian restaurant with good food, don’t judge it by the decor! We sat outside so the atmosphere was good. My only suggestion would be to add some cosy lighting inside for the evening, but everything else was perfect!

Much more than pizza. The atmosphere is unfussy, comfortable and away from the crowds. They have an upstairs and downstairs with tables inside and out. We enjoyed our table outside. We had wine of course - a half bottle of DOC Valpollacella. Perfect for everyday. The Spaghetti alla Bolognese was excellent and generous. The carrot salad was just shredded carrots. The Gamberoni Alla Griglia (grilled shrimp) were fresh, deliciously seasoned, and as is typical, the heads were on so you will use your fingers. Service was good. Our Italian is limited but the wait staff all spoke English well. Hint: At the end of the meal, note your table number and head upstairs to pay inside at the register. Amazing pizza here! The pizza was absolutely delicious. The steak was only 20€ and was HUGE. Also delicious even as an American living in NYC with the best steakhouses around. The crust was perfect! Cooked perfectly. The pesto pasta wasn’t great. But everything else made up for it.

For the prices this place can't be beat. The food is pretty good, the staff is welcoming and kind. I forget what I got but the pizzas are filling, it's a casual atmosphere and very family friendly as well. Very charming outdoor seating and more romantic than inside. We did sit inside both times we went because it got a little chilly. And the recommended pasta was delicious! Never tri d anything like it before.

This place is such a great find! We had a pizza and bolognese and can confidently say it was some of the best we’ve had our entire 2 week trip! The servers were extremely friendly and the wine was perfect. Would highly recommend for a cute dinner spot!

We had such a wonderful experience here! The service was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious – the pizza is baked in a wood-fired oven and tastes amazing. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. The highlight was definitely the tiramisu, which was simply outstanding. On top of that, the restaurant itself is really charming and cozy. We will definitely be coming back!

Hands down the best pizza in Menaggio, maybe in all of Lake Como. They have wood fired oven pizza that is the lightest crispy flavorful best. I am gluten free in the states but I can eat this pizza with no worries. I am also dairy free, hence my side of the pizza has no cheese. The staff are friendly and the service is great. Affordable for lunch or dinner.

I really like this place. It is run by young waiters and older people in the kitchen. I needed a steak to change from all the pasta and pizza and bread we eat in italy. It was perfect. Music is good and the view is good if you can have a spot on the balcony. I recommend !

Looking for a reasonable place to eat? This is the right place! Two girls' service was excellent, one boy told me that you can sit whatever. I don't know if he doesn't want to guide us or not enough English. Anyway, I sat whatever and ate :) house white wine and carbonara were not very good. But pizza and blongole were fantastic. I would visit again to sit whatever and enjoy the food.

Amazing place without white tablecloths. Incredible view of the lake from the second-floor balcony. Taggliatelle with porcini is something from another world. Best ones I've eaten. Fried squid also tastes good. Tiramisu is the best. Prices are twice as low as in any osteria. Thank you for making my trip to Italy amazing.

Pizzaria Lugano is a must try for dinner when visiting Lake Como. Though unassuming from the outside, they served us one of the best meals we had during a 2 week Italy trip. The tagliatelle with shrimp and zucchini is fantastic as was the house made panna cotta. The place has a family owned vibe and there is ample indoor seating. Reportedly you can book ahead for outdoor tables and there are a couple upper deck outdoor tables with view of the mountains. Small queue to get a table but very worth it. Price is also very very reasonable (pizza for €7-10 and pasta dishes from €8-16) when compared to Bellagio and Varenna.

This place is very unassuming and not directly on the most obvious tourist location but still a 10 min walk from the ferry and main street. It is, however, more than worth going out of your way. The prices were great, the portions were perfect, and both the pizza and pasta were amazing. We hoped around the lake in several towns and far more $$ places which had wish we didn't and instead came here during my stay in this area. The service was super friendly, my gf loved her pasta and swore it was the best she ever had, and my only regret was not getting more food (we literally couldn't eat anymore 🤣) The dessert were also super tasty.

Posto alla buona, personale gentile e attento, poca attesa, prezzi buoni e pizza, a mio parere, la migliore assaggiata a Menaggio! Ho chiesto di aggiungere del basilico e hanno abbondato..io felicissima! Non capisco perché non facciano delivery, ma è possibile prendere la pizza da asporto. Meglio prenotare specialmente il fine settimana. Torneremo sicuramente!

La pizza è sottile e resta bagnata forse per la qualità della mozzarella, il condimento tende a staccarsi dalla base. Tutto sommato è una buona pizza, servita rapidamente, prezzi onesti. Locale un po' datato.

At that time i was too hungry that i ate it anyway. Nice food with a lovely spot to lookout if you get an outdoor table on the balcony. We enjoyed our lunch. The only negative was that my pizza came first and my girlfriend’s pasta didn’t come for another 20 minutes. My food was gone by the time she got hers.

Esperienza pessima. In tre per mangiare una pizza al volo perché a seguire avevamo un appuntamento. Dico solo che non siamo riuscite a presenziare all'appuntamento perché il servizio è stato tremendamente lento. I camerieri passeggiavano per i tavoli senza considerare noi che cercavamo la loro attenzione per ordinare una pizza dopo mezz'ora che siamo state fatte accomodare. Dopo la pizza, che era abbastanza buona, un'altra mezz'ora per poter avere l'attenzione dei camerieri, tra una sigaretta e l'altra, per chiedere la carta dei dolci. Finalmente la otteniamo e passa altro tempo interminabile perché non sono più tornati a chiedere se volessimo qualcosa. Il locale non era pieno e frenetico, il cameriere scendeva le scale saltellando, ci passava accanto e rigava dritto.

Mi sono fermata dopo aver visto le recensioni positive, in realtà ho trovato una pizza nella norma e purtroppo nel mio caso bruciata sotto quindi non sono riuscita a finirla. Ho speso 25€ per una pizza, un’acqua, un caffè e un tiramisù, quest’ultimo è stata la vera sorpresa, ma negativa: 8€ per un tiramisù (mediocre oltretutto), non lo paghi 8€ nemmeno nei ristoranti di fascia medio alta e fatto in modo magistrale. Esagerati.

Pessima esperienza in questa pizzeria, eravamo in 2, avevamo prenotato e all'arrivo non c'erano tavoli all'aperto. Veniamo spediti al piano di sopra, per essere fatti accomodare al piano di sotto dove avevamo chiesto (logico no?) Ok, ci sediamo dentro e abbiamo chiesto gentilmente che ci spostassero fuori se si liberava un tavolo. Ordiniamo, poi arriva una coppia accanto a noi che si siede e dopo 5min vengono spostati fuori! Eh vabbè, passiamoci sopra. Passano circa 50min e non ci arriva niente, il locale inizia a svuotarsi e chiediamo cortesemente al cameriere qualche notizia delle ns pizze. Arriva un ragazzo molto carino che ci dice che gli dispiace molto ma la nostra comanda era rimasta bloccata. Possibile che di tre camerieri nessuno di loro si fosse accorto di niente? Vabbè anche stavolta ci passiamo sopra. Arrivano le pizze, buone tra l'altro, finiamo e poi ci avviamo alla cassa. Alla domanda del cassiere: tutto bene? Rispondiamo: no, le pizze ci sono arrivate dopo 1h, la cassiera, probabilmente straniera, non capisce, fa finta di niente e ci presenta il conto normale, con tanto di coperto di 2,50€ per cenare in una pizzeria vecchia, trasandata con quelle tovagliette di carta plastificata che fanno rabbrividire! Purtroppo gli errori possono capitare, ma gestirli così proprio no! Da evitare assolutamente, se non avete voglia di essere trattati così! We couldn’t believe this place was so highly rated. We had MUCH better at another local smaller place. We walked in and the lighting made it feel like a cafeteria and the dishes were lacking in flavor. Probably one of our least favorites in all of our Italian travels. We had the carbonara (no flavor), gnocchi (sauce was ok but the gnocchi tasted frozen) and the pizza diavolo (wasn’t a good crust and the toppings were falling off), as well as Aperol and limoncello spritzes. The only positive was the mussel appetizer. That blew everything else away and is a must here. Skip everything else.
