It's been years since I've been back... It came to mind when I thought about the excellent home delivery service they offered during the first lockdown... They didn't disappoint me this time either! The meals were well-portioned, and the prices were more than fair. I didn't take any more photos because I was too busy enjoying the food, but I assure you, the tagliata served on the menu was fabulous! We'll be back very often!

A typical Lombard trattoria, always packed, especially at lunchtime. Simple menu, generous dishes. Rustic atmosphere, attentive waiters. Ideal for business lunches, a quick lunch with friends or family. Not a romantic stop. The price is more than fair.

We went to "Canaja" on a holiday, inspired by the clear day after so many days of rain and the landscape with the flooded rice paddies, each reflecting a slice of sky like mirrored glass tiles. We booked at short notice but found a spot. The restaurant is located on the corner of a busy street and a narrower, slightly uphill one. Parking could be a problem. Inside, the atmosphere is rustic, typical of a trattoria. A counter at the entrance serves coffee and liqueurs, floors are tiled with slightly uneven terracotta, tables of different types and shapes, paper placemats and napkins, and an open kitchen with the constant chatter of the wait staff and kitchen staff. That day, the Breme onion menu was available. I decided to choose it; someone else chose a more traditional menu. We enjoyed both the onion-based appetizers and the ones featuring local cured meats. The signature dish in the area is undoubtedly the rice, cooked al dente. Again, both versions (onion and mushroom) were satisfying. Everyone also enjoyed the main course (roast beef). The dessert (strawberry tiramisu), however, turned a few people off. Service was prompt despite the fact that there was a confirmation lunch that day. Our overall experience was positive, except for the decidedly high price for this type of restaurant.

The host was very friendly, helped us with our questions, and gave us advice. It's worth buying the tasting menu for approximately €30 (it includes dessert, a first course, and a main course); otherwise, I think the prices are a bit high. The risotto was good, but for €14, I would have expected a bit more. There aren't many options on the menu, but it's a restaurant in a small town, so it's fine. Nice atmosphere. The meat, risotto, and house wine came to €35.

To say the food is so-so...it's just a throwaway! The dishes are either tasteless or very salty, but the atmosphere is very family-friendly and the staff is friendly and fast. The prices are truly exceptional...medium-low!!

Prenotato e confermato 15 minuti prima dell'arrivo. All'arrivo la prenotazione sembra non esistere. Comunque ci trovano un tavolo. Portano coperti, chiedono cosa vogliamo bere. Dopo 20 minuti d'attes…

Un’esperienza peggiore non l’ho mai avuta, non tanto per il cibo che comunque era discreto tanto quanto la maleducazione del personale, partiamo con il fatto che c’è una disorganizzazione generale, nell’antipasto abbiamo trovato una mosca morta, mandiamo indietro il piatto con gentilezza con la speranza che ci venisse cambiato, siamo stati guardati male e in tutto ciò nemmeno una scusa da parte del personale e soprattutto del proprietario della struttura. In cassa facciamo presente che un antipasto non l’avremmo pagato per la presenza della mosca e siamo stati nuovamente guardati male. Prima di aprire delle attività in cui state a contatto con le persone capite se è quello che volete fare realmente.

We had lunch on Sunday. The fixed menu of 35 euros without wine was really poor compared to 2 years ago. There was only a choice of appetizers, including 4 small seafood meatballs that would have cost 10 euros. A choice of first course (a paltry risotto) and for a second course that would have cost 15 euros a la carte if you didn't choose the menu, 2 tiny steaks. A liter of wine, 10 euros in short. For 40 euros, it was a rip-off and the staff was unfriendly.
