Fantastic wine bar, Refined wine list and delicious tapas. Prices range from €3 to €13 for fish. We happened upon it during the Epiphany period. We drank four glasses, and with the wine they bring you a tagliolini (a thin slice of bread) with something to nibble.

Part of the Controcorrente restaurant, I'm reviewing the new wine bar (opened just a couple of weeks ago) located just steps from the restaurant. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, ready to recommend the perfect wine pairing to accompany the chosen dish(es). We ordered as much as we could from the menu to see which would be the best. We went in with the idea of ​​a quick lunch, nibbling on something with a glass of wine, and we almost rolled out. The portions are small but generous. They're filling and worth the price. I recommend the tartare (truffle is an extra) and the fried ravioli, and leave some room for the typical Ligurian dessert. For now, the cash register and restrooms are across the street (in the restaurant), but due to renovations and a new dining room, I think they'll soon be relocated inside the wine bar. If you pay cash, the bill is brought directly to your table; if you need paper, you'll have to go to the restaurant. If you're passing through Noli, you absolutely must stop here; you won't regret it. I will definitely go back there myself.

I'll be back. This needs to be said right away because you'll never want to leave Controcorrente; the views here are enchanting (I'll explain later). A restaurant with attention to detail, starting with the ambiance and the lighting chosen to illuminate the outdoor terrace, which I tried this summer, allowing you to relax and enjoy a perfect dinner. I rarely give 5 stars, but here they pay extra attention to providing the best possible culinary experience, which I imagine is how the owners intended. I opted for the chef's menu, a choice I recommend for those who want to try everything without missing out on anything and without going overboard. The experience begins! And it all starts with the landscapes because "a landscape is a state of mind" (Amiel) I'm not one to give much weight to the plating, but the original choice of presenting the food on lake pebbles or nestled in the fine sea sand is wonderful, and accentuates the taste and flavor of the dishes. But here we also travel to other planets where, at least for me, the choice of dishes for the first and second courses (see photo) recalled elements from science fiction films, finding myself on distant planets enjoying delicacies that perhaps can only be tasted there. And all this without even having started eating; once dinner began, each dish succeeded in enhancing the taste experience you expect from what you imagined only by sight. Everything was perfect. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, excellent raw materials in the chef's wonderful interpretations. I won't say anything else because it just has to be experienced. I'd add that the wine selection is comprehensive, catering to all palates, and you'll be spoiled for choice. If you're looking for help, you can always ask the excellent and knowledgeable staff. They're always welcoming, prompt, and never intrusive. The price is obviously higher than the average for other restaurants, but traveling this far is a bit expensive. But it's not as expensive as you might imagine, and if you choose the Chef's Menu, you'll be satisfied, as I was. Let me know how it goes. Have a good trip and enjoy your meal.

A very high quality fish menu with also some choice for veggie and meat lovers. The fish is extremely fresh and cooked in tasty but light receipts. The wine list and complete and can satisfy all tastes and wallets. Environment modern and warm combined with efficient and friendly service. Five stars well deserved. Only issue is to find a parking in Noli 🥵

Very nice restaurant in Noli. A bit chilly inside, but a very pleasant ambiance outside. In summer, please wear long dresses because of the mosquitoes. We were very bothered in the evening. Great service, but the food wasn't outstanding, more standard. Unfortunately, every course was missing a pinch of salt (and we use very little salt). However, the plates are outstanding :)

Il locale è un po’ nascosto e si trova poco prima della porta che dà all’uscita, o ingresso, della città vecchia. L’arredamento è moderno, molto pulito e il personale è gentile. Però le portate e i piatti sono minuscoli...esci ed hai ancora fame e devi cercarti un altro posto. Per quello che paghi mi aspetto un po’ di più... Migliorabile...
