We had dinner during saturday and everything was spot on. We started with spaghetti with clams, which were perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. Then came the mixed fried seafood — crispy, light, and not greasy at all. To top it off, the grilled tuna was tender and full of flavor, cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. It’s the kind of place where you can tell they really care about the food and their customers. Absolutely 5 stars
I had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante Da Tondo, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was impeccable: the staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to recommend the most suitable dishes and wines.
It's hard to find such fresh and well-prepared fish! The mixed fried fish melts in your mouth and never gets old!! Excellent cuisine, both seafood and meat A truly welcoming and well-kept restaurant Prices are reasonable, and I'd say the set menu also offers good, high-quality options. Gianluca and Patty are two very kind and friendly hosts. My compliments to them and the staff!!! Highly recommended!!!!!!

All well-deserved, excellent value for money. We hope to be able to come back soon to eat, keep it up. After a long time, I reiterate what I said. Thank you for making me happy. An engaging experience. The knowledgeable and smiling staff guided me through a short and simple tasting menu. I visited with friends for the first time a few days ago. I wasn't familiar with the place, but I immediately felt at home. I started with mixed raw fish and a tuna carpaccio of incredible color and flavor. I was also served a crispy focaccia garnished with sea urchin, a combination I never thought I'd try, but which instead made me fall in love with the dish. I then continued with linguine with lobster, which was truly special, and then I stopped for dessert. The portions were generous and satisfying. I'd like to highlight the extremely high quality of the ingredients and the fair and satisfying price. So far, the best for me. Well done!
Seafood-only restaurant, the spaghetti with meat sauce is mine 😅 (unfortunately I don't eat fish), while the super fresh fish is my husband's. Excellent in everything, I loved the tiramisu, so I wanted to try the house one... Well, what can I say, it's one of the best I've ever eaten... maybe the best!!!! Top 🔝 I recommend it to anyone who loves fish!

Craving mixed fried fish with friends and limited time due to the curfew, where to look while staying in the area? So you turn to Google, hoping to find quality and value! Well, what can I say? I arrived at a restaurant that feels like it's by the sea. Gianluca's welcome makes you feel right at home, and he recommends all his top recipes based on the catch of the day. Super-generous portions; three of us ate the peppered mussels, and the mixed fried fish, one each, was so abundant we struggled to finish it. Obviously, everything was QUALITY and reasonably priced. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Nel Ristorante si respira un'aria familiare, accogliente ed informale. Qui si possono gustare principalmente piatti a base di pesce(ovviamente c'è anche un menù di terra)sapientemente preparati dallo Chef che dimostra nella moderna semplicità della sua cucina, l'amore per il mare. Il personale è cortese,disponibile e discreto. Ottimi anche i dolci. Consigliato
We were at this place two or three weeks ago on a Friday. We were inside in the dining room. There was a couple singing outside, and you could sing karaoke. In my opinion, this doesn't reflect the restaurant's true value. In fact, it devalues it, because while the food is truly good and the fish is incredibly fresh, the music, even the singing of professionals, is so bad it ruins the atmosphere, and you'll think you've just stumbled upon a restaurant. Despite everything, even though one member of staff was missing, they did everything they could while we waited. They offered us focaccia, but we still had a really long wait. However, both the waitress, who finally took our order after almost 45 minutes of waiting, and the gentleman who filleted/cleaned our fish, I have to say the service was good. We were a bit shocked by the bill because we had chosen the 600/800g grilled sea bream for €25, but the waitress who also works the cash register charged us double because who knows (I didn't feel like arguing, especially because I noticed once when checking the menu). We ordered coffee at the counter and she brought it to us at the table. We should have paid around €140 instead we paid €180. Even with the sorbets, they didn't tell us whether there is a small or large one as written on the menu, but they charged us for the large one. Evaluating only the food, it's definitely a restaurant we'll return to. Evaluating the whole thing, I have to say that there seems to be a strong desire to "sell" you the more expensive dishes and this too may seem strange at first glance, and in general, the service and billing needs work. Even if someone is missing to serve, let customers know immediately so they can manage, otherwise it's truly unprofessional. The karaoke, I repeat. In my opinion, it doesn't fit in an environment like this, and for this reason too, I'd choose an evening when he's not there. The 4 stars overall are mainly for the food. The food alone is 5 stars. The service and atmosphere are 3 stars.
We're not there yet. There are identity issues. Either you remain a business lunch restaurant with a €12 fixed menu (which I think is the most appropriate option) or you evolve into a restaurant of a different caliber. I found nothing Salento-esque, not even the pasticciotto, which was just a poor copy. The quality was nothing special; I'd say it was mediocre. I don't know if the location is worse inside or out. Not a positive experience. I appreciate the honesty in admitting and refunding a portion of the bill they had mistakenly charged.
Extremely disappointing New Year's Eve. We chose this restaurant for our New Year's Eve dinner, trusting what we'd been promised: abundant food and a fixed price of €100. Unfortunately, the reality was quite different. From the appetizers onward, the portions were absolutely inadequate: dishes advertised for two were brought to tables of four or six, forcing us to share ridiculous quantities. This situation continued throughout the meal, resulting in us eating well, but far too little. There were more than 20 of us, and we all left feeling hungry. An even more disappointing note was the management of intolerances: a young man with celiac disease had requested gluten-free dishes, which were provided for appetizers and first courses, but no alternative was offered for the mixed fried fish, effectively forfeiting a second course. Unacceptable for a dinner we'd paid handsomely for. After midnight, the cotechino with lentils arrived, but again, the portions were minimal: practically nothing but lentils, and not enough for everyone. The real insult came at the end: instead of the agreed-upon €100, we were asked to pay €120 per person, claiming we had consumed 10 liters of extra wine (undeclared during the evening). This meant an extra €400, with a cost of over €40 per liter for a house white wine—a frankly absurd and previously unexplained matter. In short: good quality food, but inappropriate quantities, careless management (especially towards those with dietary restrictions), and a completely unexpected and opaque final bill. We felt cheated. It was an experience we won't repeat and one we wouldn't recommend, especially for events like New Year's Eve.

Abbiamo mangiato sabato sera Io e mia moglie scegliendo il ristorante leggendo le recensioni e per cambiare dai soliti ristoranti di pesce, mai più esperimenti.! Il servizio al tavolo è sindacabile ma di certo di una qualità imbarazzante provare per credere. Per quanto concerne la cena avevamo voglia di pesce abbiamo selezionato la Carrellata a Tutto Tondo € 40,00 (Giro di portate di Cotto e assaggio di Crudo secondo il Pescato del Giono). Questo il dettaglio: acciughe marinate, cozze, pastella di baccalà, polpo, calamaro tutto ovviamente caldo. Pensando che andasse avanti con le portate di crudite ho chiesto alla cameriera/proprietaria se fosse finito l'antipasto e chiedendo il crudo. Ovviamente la risposta è stata che dipende da pescato disponibilità e quindi la disponibilità è la pietanza come descritta a 40€. Per il primo abbiamo scelto le Fettuccine fresche alla Tondo; con 1scampo 1 gambero e un mix tra ciuffi di calamari e nulla di più. Anche qui un piatto molto povero, facendo seguito alla descrizioni dal sito fuorvianti come foto e descrizioni e dalle recensioni. La cena è stata accompagnata da una bottiglia di prosecco e non abbiamo voluto proseguire con dolce e caffè perché non siamo stati contenti del trattamento. Con una spesa di 117€ mi sarei aspettato di più soprattutto sulla qualità e servizio.
Ero stato in questo ristorante l'ultima volta il 20 marzo con alcuni amici e mi ero trovato veramente bene. Tanto da farmi decidere di venire a cena per festeggiare il compleanno con la mia famiglia. Purtroppo la situazione si è completamente ribaltata. Buttati all'esterno con serata karaoke a tutto volume, con conseguente disagio anche dei camerieri che non riuscivano a prendere le comande, figuriamoci poter conversare tra commensali. Tant'è che, per un "disguido dei camerieri", alla fine sono riuscito a mangiare dopo quasi 2 ore di attesa, una pasta fatta di fretta e decisamente male. Peccato, perché prima era veramente un ottimo ristorante. Quando ho voluto esprimere la mia delusione, apriti cielo... ma non è da tutti saper accettare delle critiche.
