Semplicemente wao! A mezz'ora dal centro di Genova. Location semplice, rustica, in collina, in mezzo al verde e vista mare. Propietario e staff deliziosi, simpatici e gentilissimi. Menù ligure. Tris di antipasto con carne battuta al coltello eccezionale così come la salsiccia. Senza parole! Plin al nero di seppia con baccalà squisiti, quel baccalà era tra i più buoni mai mangiati. Rapporto qualità prezzo top! Si mangia troppo bene e le porzioni sono perfette, non scarse come in tanti altri posti! 34€ a testa (antipasto in due+primo+dolce+caffè+1/4 di vino in due+acqua+coperto) Non vedo l ora di tornare! Come iniziare bene una gita a Genova, grazie!
Osteria rustica sulle alture di Voltri. Piatti della tradizione ligure cucinati molto bene e presentati dignitosamente. Alcune materie prime sono autoprodotte, tutto comunque è di assoluta qualità. Clima molto accogliente e servizio cordiale (basta non avere fretta e godersi l'ottimo pasto e lo splendido posto). Molta Liguria anche nella carta dei vini.
Un posto incantevole. Si mangia all'aperto, al fresco sotto un pergolato, nella natura delle colline genovesi. I prodotti sono praticamente a km 0, o quasi, infatti vengono prediletti i prodotti dell'orto antistante all'osteria. Se avete fortuna, magari in una giornata non troppo affollata, i proprietari vi porteranno a visitare l'orto, per farvi assaporare i profumi della Liguria. Cucina semplice, del territorio, ben curata e con attenzione alla materia prima. Ottimo lo stoccafisso con noci e pinoli. Nota di merito per i tagliolini preparati in casa è davvero leggeri. Insomma, se volete mangiare genovese, dovete venire da U Santu!
Pranzo di Natale in famiglia. Ottimi piatti gustosi , genuini e ben presentati. Ambiente intimo e familiare. Buonissimo il capretto con carciofi e l'arrosto con riduzione di ciliegiolo, lo stesso ottimo vino che abbiamo bevuto per accompagnare tutto il pranzo. Il titolare è stato molto gentile nel preparare anche varianti x mia figlia celiaca e per chi non mangia carne. Siamo rimasti molto contenti e lo consigliamo.
Osteria nel verde, quasi da altri tempi, dove gustare la cucina genuina genovese. Impareggiabili il brandacujun, e i pansotti al sugo di noci...il tutto rigorosamente cucinato alla vecchia maniera. I prezzi a mio parere un pelino alti ma giustificati dalla qualità di quanto gustato e dall' atmosfera davvero magica che si respira. Noi ci siamo stati a pranzo ma di certo ci ritorneremo anche per la cena....quindi a presto!!!...e al ritorno odierno -pasquetta 2023- il pranzo è stato delizioso...da ritornarci spessoooo

A new and excellent experience! Excellent reinterpretation of Ligurian cuisine, a rustic and welcoming setting, and a very kind and attentive owner. We'll be back soon, especially in the warmer months for a lovely al fresco lunch!
Ligurian-style rabbit is truly excellent! I'm Ligurian, and my mother used to make Ligurian-style rabbit for me. With their rabbit, I rediscovered my mother's home-cooked flavors. Highly recommended!
My wife and I visited this trattoria serving traditional Ligurian cuisine, located on the hills above Genoa Voltri at Via al Santuario delle Grazie 33. Surrounded by greenery, it offers numerous tables inside and outside under the covered terrace, offering a splendid and wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Be careful: from the center of Voltri, when you turn right, you'll take a road that's about 2 kilometers long, but it's only one lane. Therefore, if you encounter a car coming from the opposite direction, you'll have to reverse for several meters before finding a clearing where you can turn. My advice is to go with a small car like a Panda, Fiat 500, or a Smart, otherwise you risk reversing for 2 kilometers. You can park your car in a small parking lot located just below the restaurant. As soon as we walked to the restaurant from the parking lot (it takes about 10 minutes), we were greeted by the owner Luca, who was welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly, and helpful. He sat us at an outdoor table. We ordered an appetizer of breaded and fried stuffed anchovies to share. For the first course: pumpkin gnocchi Chestnut trofie with pesto For the second course: 2 cuttlefish in zimino For dessert: Fig tarte tatin to share We were very satisfied, everything was good, plentiful, delicious, and delicious. Dinner with friends at the end of August. It's a shame it was a bit windy; perhaps a jacket would have helped (our fault, being inexperienced). The food and service were truly top-notch. I've been wanting to come here for a while, and I'm very happy with the choice. We ordered wine (Vermentino), a first course, a second course, and dessert. It cost about €40 each. Absolutely well spent; if they'd asked for €50, I wouldn't have blinked. The rabbit and cuttlefish were cooked to perfection, incredibly flavorful, and honestly, they melted in your mouth. The first courses were also truly satisfying. It's a shame I didn't immediately see the squid ink gnocchi and that they ran out of peach tartare. These are more than enough reasons to return. I recommend the place, and I recommend not just wearing a summer shirt on windy days or at the end of summer.
Located on the hills above Voltri, the road to get there is a bit narrow. There's a parking lot, and then you have to walk up a path to get to the restaurant. The outdoor tables are lovely, surrounded by greenery and overlooking the Voltri harbor. The selection isn't extensive, but everything we ate was excellent, though the portions weren't particularly generous. The house white wine (Vermentino) is also good. The service was impeccable.
Everything was truly excellent. The starters, main courses, and dessert were delicious. The service was courteous and unpretentious. In my opinion, the best thing was the ravioli a u toccu. But the gnocchi with Santo sauce were also delicious. You really get the feeling of being in a special place. I had already enjoyed it last time, on a summer evening under the pergola, but this time, with the pouring rain outside, I appreciated it even more.
An excellent Genoese trattoria on the hills above Voltri, with a simple and welcoming atmosphere, and a very quiet location with an open view of the western coast of Genoa. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and the dishes are truly superb, with generous portions (as was the bill), beautifully presented. Highly recommended for those who want to escape the city and savor local cuisine. Personal opinion: places like this deserve to be discovered, rediscovered, and supported.
Ended up here by coincidence on our way to Finale, as there was a lot of traffic which we wanted to bypass. Best choice we could have made. The way up to the restaurant requires some bravery but totally worth it. The food was amazing, the menu offered a small yet rich selection of starters, secondi and main dishes, typical for Italian restaurants. We don’t eat meat and were surprised by a fantastic choice of dishes. We had mashed potatoes with stock fish, the chickpeas with chard, home made pasta with pesto and a white fish with pine seeds and olives. The staff was very accommodating and welcoming, even though we arrived a couple minutes before they even opened. They also translated their menu for us which I post below. There was one little error in the translation, the rabbit with pine and olives is actually a white fish. We also had two glasses of their house wine which was light and fruity and very good value for money. Neighbour table had meat, also looked fantastic. My recommendation is to take the chickpea stew, still can’t get over the combination of flavours, wish I had the recipe. The view from the restaurant is also fantastic, as it is located on a hill over the city.
An incredible place for its beauty and authenticity, contrasting with the construction projects (interchanges, viaducts, abandoned factories, etc.) that have blighted the Genoese coastline just a stone's throw away! Up there, everything seems suspended above the earth, and the cuisine is in perfect harmony with the wonderful feeling you experience at U Santu. Typical Genoese dishes, delicate and fragrant, prepared with local and traditional products, which we savored to the fullest (we came all the way from Imperia). Brandacujun with garlic mayonnaise (superlative!) and anchovies all'agiadda, mandilli with pesto and chickpeas in zimino, lamb with artichokes and stockfish with Genoese-style potatoes, baked apple, and canestrelli biscuits with zabaglione. All delicious, with special mention for the stockfish in every version. The service is courteous and discreet, Ligurian style. The interior is truly pleasant in its simplicity, maintaining the characteristics of an osteria without being overly trendy. The beautiful exterior, with pergolas to enjoy in the summer, overlooks the vegetable garden and donkeys. Opposite, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Grace, surrounded by tall, shady oaks. What more could you ask for? It's paradise!

Worth the drive ( even if you get very lost ... Keep a close eye on your google maps ..) Great food , friendly service , beautiful setting. Ligurian cooking - expect more mountain than sea ( both rabbit and hare) fantastic pasta. Great for evening but must be fantastic for lunch. Small car park to the left, just before the entrance & walk 100 m up to the restaurant.
Di certo un posto dove merita mangiare all'aperto! avevo letto alcune recensioni poco lusinghiere sulla qualità del cibo, che invece ho trovato soddisfacente; un poco perplesso sul rapporto prezzo/quantità, che nella classica "trattoria da entroterra" si è abituati a trovare più favorevole... nel complesso vale almeno provare una volta!
Ottima cucina di piatti liguri, buono il servizio cordiale e discreto, bella location in mezzo alla natura, la scelta nel menù non è così ampia ma tra carne e pesce si trovano ottimi piatti, buoni anche i dolci ed il vino sfuso, prezzi sui 25/30 euro a persona.
I had lunch here during a special occasion and I must say that the food was very good with a view to much. The place looks run down from the outside but the secret is in the traditional quality of the food. It can be difficult to reach by car because the road is very narrow, but once you're there it's worth the effort.
Posto molto bello, ma non per il resto.. piatti non all'altezza delle aspettative.. p.es. pansotti al sugo di noce scotti e senza sale.. magari è capitato solo a noi e solo quella sera.. però non mi ha fatto una buona impressione visto che il conto (al contrario dei pansotti) era parecchio salato..
The quality of the food is undeniable. Everything is truly delicious, even if the portions are very small. The location is very nice because it overlooks two mountainsides, especially during this time of year when you can eat outside in the cool air. Three stars, but if the portions had been larger, I'd add a star. A fifth star would be if you lowered the prices, which are out of line for similar restaurants. Anyway, I had a good time.
It's a little bit hard to reach the restaurant, last kilometre is a narrow road where only one car can drive, you have to be really careful. Once your at the restaurant the place is nice, and old house with a nice pergola vine training in the front. The toilet is outside and it's not that convenient in winter. The owner told us they are planning to build a new one inside. Food is good but not excellent, pesto was not as creamy as I like it, trippe were fine even if I had better ones. Dessert was awesome.
This restaurant is very much not on the travelled path. You need a car and steady nerves to reach it, because the road to get there is very steep and narrow. We actually got stuck and banged our rear…
I can’t say I eat bad actually everything tasted 👅 good and spot on, well cooked and balanced. So it would be 5 starts for this. The problem comes when I spend more than 50 euro a head but still so hungry… The location is beautiful and the service is nice. 👍 But if I go in place where supposed to be a “trattoria” or at least homemade food.. I’m aspecting some decent portion or at least the price and balance of food. To eat some gnocchi with pesto.. few slice of bread,wine and small and I tell you very freaking small portion of fish for crazy price? That’s not a 5 start Resturant.. That’s a big no 👎👎👎 for me .. felt like scammed, is like a nice package without nothing inside. Not a place to come back.
