Buono, ragazze in sala gentili e cordiali, prodotti di qualità, ben preparati, location semplice, ma non è un male, quando si mangia bene, i fronzoli contano poco.

Cena di pesce infrasettimanale, una vera sorpresa. Antipasti diversi dal solito e primo gustoso e abbondante. Ottimi anche i dolci e vino della casa eccellente.

This is a lovely local restaurant in hilly Foca with welcoming staff and a relaxing vibe. The food is tasty and nourishing. The staff accommodated my large group at short notice - thanks to them. If you visit be sure to step across the street for the wonderful view towards the bay of La Spezia.

The perfect rural Italian trattoria. Very well priced, with a 12e daily menu including two dishes and a glass of wine. Spectacular views over La Spezia, friendly service, and the most tender rabbit I've ever eaten.

Our local hosts described this place as "mainly seafood, but the meat is also good". Very accurate! We took the suggestions of the waiter and were very happy with the freshness, flavor and preparation of the seafood. We had perhaps the best seafood pasta dish this whole year in Italy. The seasonal vegetable sides were also tasty and added to the dishes. We came back the next night and tried their meat dishes - the ravioli with meat ragu was one of the best we've had. Nearly everything was seasoned well and not too salty as we found with some other places, with the exception of the steak sauce (a bit too salty). They did close a little earlier the second night and only offered limited dishes, but we still enjoyed the meal.

Wonderful food, really really nice and helpful service, reservation is recommended. Two of us shared a tuna tartare 15€ as a starter (daily special) and afterwards three of us had a bistecca Fiorentina 1,5kg with side dishes 50€ which was absolutely amazing. I would come back any time!

Such a good surprise this place. They cook and use only local product so it is fresh and tastfull. For the service our waiter tooks time to explain all the menu in English with details... The anti pasti of fish are really really great you have lot of different things to try. They have also good bio vine. That was really a good moment. I highly recommend.

Trovata per caso, in quanto di passaggio per altra meta sono stata attratta dall atmosfera che emanava . Una terrazza con un bel panorama colmare in lontananza . Personale cordiale e disponibile . Cibo gustoso , accompagnato da buon vino locale . Apprezzato molto , lo consiglio .

Abbiamo optato per questo ristorante durante la nostra permanenza a Portovenere/La Spezia. Su suggerimento del cameriere abbiamo ordinato spaghetti con ragù di muscoli... Davvero gustoso! Come secondo abbiamo preso fritto misto, che ci è stato servito su un unico piatto da cui ci siamo serviti tutti e 5 in autonomia. Anch'esso molto buono! L'unica pecca che mi sento di sottolineare, di cui ci siamo accorti solo riguardando lo scontrino a casa, è che non ci aspettavamo di pagare il fritto misto comunque 16€ a testa, (costo del singolo piatto) per un piattone unico servito in quella maniera. Vi consiglio quindi di specificare quante porzioni volete per evitare sorprese finali. Comunque sia, consigliato!

Non male come locale, sicuramente il cibo è molto buono, primi piatti molto richiesti ma anche i secondi4 piatti sono fatti curando il dettaglio. Consiglio di prenotare per tempo! Il tiramisù aveva una crema spettacolare (non si trovano facilmente creme così avrei dato 1000 stelle solo per la crema), peccato non c'era traccia di savoiardi...se non sbaglio c'era il biscotto oro saiva... Quindi di base era un dolce simile al tiramisù (scusate amo il tiramisù fatto bene)

Che dire? Le cameriere sono molto efficienti e professionali, ma delle statue di sale che rasentano l'antipatia. Non si chiedono manifestazioni fraterne ma almeno un sorriso.

I was impressed with the super low prices although did not understand the concept of this restaurant. Things to improve. 1. Add curtains and an acoustic ceiling to lower the noise level. 2. Bring the menu to the table as soon as the guest sits down. It took 10 min to receive ours. 3. Waitresses took another 15 minutes to take our order. Most of the time they walked past us, both trying to find a bottle of wine for another client. 4. We left after hearing our food would take another 20 minutes to arrive.

Non si possono mettere zero stelle o negativo altrimenti le avrei messe. Mi spiego. Arriviamo alle 21.05, portano subito la lista dei vini (ma non dovrei prima decidere cosa mangio e poi scegliere il vino?), dopo mezzora portano i menù e dopo 45 minuti ordiamo finalmente. L'antipasto misto mare (niente di che per 16 euro) arriva dopo circa 65 minuti da quando siamo arrivati. I due primi (pici con guanciale porcini e fonduta, buoni) arrivano alle 22.30. A quel punto chiediamo di non portare la frittura mista ordinata ma ci dicono che i pesci sono già infarinati e quindi la dobbiamo prendere eventualmente la possono mettere in un contenitore per portar via. Diciamo ovviamente che la mangiamo visto che riscaldata se la mangiano loro, non noi. Frittura buona, niente da dire. Con acqua e mezzo vino della casa abbiamo speso quasi 70 euro. Ora, voi che voto dareste? Peccato perchè la cucina per alcune cose è buona ma forse sono nel limbo di chi vuole fare una cucina più raffinata ma senza darw un servizio adeguato visto che non c'era certo il pienone. In ogni caso le cameriere non hanno fatto nulla per migliorare la situazione, anzi. Dispiace fare questa recensione ma non potevo tacere Vorrei aggiungere due parole alla risposta del proprietario. Segnalo solamente che il problema dei tempi (oltre un'ora per ricevere il primo piatto) è stato fatto presente in loco a chi serviva ai tavoli che evidentemente non ha avvisato chi di dovere. Non scrivo recensioni campate in aria basta leggere tutte le mie precedenti per rendersene conto. Quando si sbaglia basta rendersene conto (e purtroppo vedo che non è e non è stato questo il caso) e rimediare con piccoli gesti (cosa che non vi è neanche passata per la mente). Spiace perchè, ripeto, la cucina è buona.

Abbiamo gentilmente chiesto la possibilita'di pranzare, magari anche sll'esterno. Siamo stati rimbalzati in maniera poco cordiale perche' locale pieno. Domandare e' lecito, rispondere e' cortesia, quella che e' palesemente mancata.

We drove 20 minutes to get to this restaurant because it had good reviews. We arrived at 21:05 and noticed that nobody was waiting, the inside was mostly empty, and there were even a few tables outside available. But when we approached the hostess she said they were completely full. We had read online that there are some places in the region that refuse to serve tourists but had never experienced this before. With at least 8-10 open tables on a quiet Sunday night it was pretty clear they were turning us away just because they didn’t want to serve us. We were very surprised and disappointed to experience this, as we are two quiet and respectful doctors from the USA. We would recommend you take your business somewhere else if you are a visitor or tourist.

They were busy when we arrived at 1:45pm and told us we’d have to wait 20mins for a table. Ended up leaving after45mins. Lots of dirty tables not cleared. Another couple got a table before we did. Gave us the impression they only look after locals and didn’t want our business so we went down the hill to find somewhere else. No matter how good their food is, you still need to clear the tables and look after your customers or you won’t have many customers left🙄
