The service was impeccable: the owner is incredibly welcoming and passionate, explaining each dish on the menu with care and attention, making you feel truly at home. We started with the fried artichoke with egg 13, an appetizer I loved. The buttered plin were delicious, as were the tagliatelle with raw shrimp and pesto, fresh and well-balanced. The cheek was delicious and well-cooked. To finish, the profiteroles were out of this world: handmade, incredibly delicious, and among the best desserts I've ever tried. Everything was delicious, from the quality of the ingredients to the execution of the dishes. A place where you eat very well and feel pampered. Highly recommended!

Da Varsa is a restaurant run by a kind, friendly, and welcoming owner. The menu is varied and offers exquisite traditional Piedmontese dishes with a few modern twists. The restaurant is a work of art, decorated in a shabby-chic style with exposed brick. Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner or a romantic dinner with friends.

Please list me up the bad things about this place! I still miss their phenomenal creative dishes🤤 Staffs are all so welcomed and very energetic. All the dishes were different than I anticipated. There were more tastes and umami than what you would expect. We ordered one more shrimp antipasti because we knew we could not have it when we are back to LA.

This is one of the best restaurants in the world. I have dined everywhere from Osteria Francescana to South East Asian street food and if I had to choose one restaurant from which to eat from for the rest of my life it would be La Capanna dei Nonni. The creativity of the dishes, fusing global cuisines in a down to earth environment, the balance of flavors and textures presented beautifully but not decadently on your plate - and all for prices that are unheard of for such quality of food - if you don't dine here you do not love food or yourself. Warning for people that don't live in Torino: you will crave this food all the time (which can be difficult when you don't have access to it)

"Home" and "passion" are the words I would associate with this place. A beautiful dinner in the heart of Vanchiglia, with excellent, almost whimsical service. The owner, explaining the menu, leads you to savor each dish using only your imagination. The photos are just a few of the dishes we tried, all truly delicious. The attention to the ingredients is excellent. We'll definitely be back to try everything we've been missing! P.S.: If you're looking for an introverted dinner, in silence with yourself, I don't recommend this place 🤣
