We had the pleasure of having lunch at this wonderful seafood restaurant and were truly impressed from start to finish. We enjoyed the seafood pasta and the seafood grill platter, both bursting with freshness and flavor. A perfectly balanced salad as well as delicious bread on the side complemented our meal beautifully. To finish, we had a house specialty dessert — simply divine! Not to forget the perfect wine on the side! The service was outstanding — you can tell it’s done with true passion and decades of experience. A little jewel on the Futa road. They serve only seafood (and of course desserts), but of great quality. Waiter was super kind and helpful. Also the chef. The lounge soundtrack makes for a great atmosphere. Fun fact: hidden around the place there are quotes and memorabilia from Captain Jack Sparrow!

Saturday, we missed the marine fossil discovery along the local park, culminating in the discovery of this excellent seafood restaurant. The Romagna-style welcome was excellent (also emphasized by the Rimini-born owner), the restaurant was charming, and the service was attentive and attentive. The fish was chosen from the menu, depending on the catch of the day. Everything we tried was truly excellent in terms of freshness, flavor, and presentation! The desserts and coffee were also exquisite. Well done! We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

Today, the day before Ferragosto (August 15th), was our first time eating at the innkeeper after moving from Piamaggio/Monghidoro. I actually feel like we've made a small step forward toward excellence (I absolutely loved the grilled octopus with potatoes and buffalo mozzarella stracciatella). Everything else was excellent, from the appetizers to the first courses (the risotto was amazing), and the fried fish. The prices have also improved, but we're talking about fish caught fresh for us at the beach, and if I'd had to go there myself to eat and spend €10 less per person, all in all, it's fine. Sunday lunch, and what a lunch!! Excellent fish cooked according to Romagna tradition. Excellent quality fish. Superlative prawns and mantis shrimp. Risotto creamed to perfection. Very varied and reasonably priced wine list. Attentive, unobtrusive staff. The owner exudes passion and the joy of Romagna. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

Dishes are both delicate and flavorful, depending on your choice. I especially like the tagliolini allo scoglio.

Proposta di pesce fresco, devo dire di ottima qualità. Consigliato dal proprietario a voce, indottrinato e spiegato finemente. Mangiato crudita, ostriche,antipasto mare misto, strozzapreti e grigliata di pesce. Il conto un pochino eccessivo viene giustificato dalla qualità del prodotto. Sicuramente ci ritornerò volentieri in occasioni speciali.

Siamo state per la prima volta in questo ristorante, e a differenza di chi ha fatto le recensioni e conosce il titolare, noi ci siamo trovate malissimo. La ragazza che inizialmente ci ha accompagnato al tavolo e servito, Marika, è stata eccellente, ho ritrovato in lei serietà e professionalità, qualità che sono venute a mancare in colui che credo sia il responsabile, il signor Alfeo, il quale, nell'avere fretta nel prendere l'ordinazione, ha sbagliato a segnare il mio piatto. Una volta tornato con il piatto giusto, con 1 fasolare di numero (scarso a mio parere visto il prezzo), non si è scusato minimamente ma bensì ha scaricato la colpa sul cuoco e mi ha risposto come se fossi stata io a non essere stata chiara su cosa volessi (cosa non vera, perché avevo specificato più che bene che avrei voluto gli spaghetti ma con lo stesso condimento proposto per gli strozzapreti). Oltre a tutto ciò, stavamo aspettando ancora i contorni del secondo che avevano preso le altre due persone con me, e dopo aver chiesto informazioni riguardo i contorni, non ancora arrivati dopo bene 20 minuti dall'arrivo del secondo, il signor Alfeo ha avuto il coraggio di rivolgersi a noi dicendoci che con gli spaghetti non si mangiano le patate, e dopo avergli specificato che le altre due persone avevano un secondo che di norma è accompagnato dal contorno, ha nuovamente risposto con maleducazione "bimbe, mangiate intanto". Oltre all'irrespettosità e sicuramente non professionalità del signor Alfeo, i prezzi sono alti ma il cibo è molto buono e fresco, peccato che nella mia pasta avessi solo 1 guscio di fasolare e non sono stata in grado di gustarmelo. Locale molto carino.

When we arrive, we compliment the outdoor seating area next to the parking lot, and the owner tells us it's not for everyone (and oh well, modesty is in order). We ask for clarification on the menu, where the first courses weren't explained, and he gives us a whole speech (which I think is fair), such as how the menu is a guide because it's based on the catch of the day, because it's "local" fish. Given our uncertainty about the definition of "local," he also explains that, being originally from Rimini, he only uses fish from the Adriatic. And here's where expectations become important. When asked about the first courses, we're told either paccheri with seafood sauce or scampi risotto, of which we order a plate to share so we can enjoy a grilled meal. Explaining that my husband, due to health issues, can't tolerate elaborate foods, but rather simple ones, we ask for a portion of grilled vegetables, to which we are told a firm NO! with the delivery, that they are different from everyone else and don't offer such banal dishes, and he recommends a house side dish. And after that, expectations skyrocket. We started with a seafood appetizer and a half to share, of which we only appreciated the tuna, the shrimp, and the octopus, overdone with non-EVOO. The vegetable side dish was indefinable: zucchini and aubergine, perhaps marinated, and a very soft tomato gratin. The risotto, also unsatisfactory, revealed some slightly mushy scampi (obviously frozen). But what really got him down was the grilled fish, which wasn't grilled but gratinated! My husband, of course, didn't even touch it, and which consisted of a small sole, a scampi cut in half with mayonnaise, two shrimp, two skewered cuttlefish, and five anchovies. A scallop the size of a coin was so overcooked that, frankly, for €45, I expected something more. At the end of the meal, I explained to the restaurant owner that we mean grilled meat, but he emphasized that in Romagna they do it that way and they don't have to explain it because that's how it's done. The problem is that technically we're not in Romagna, but I probably would have been wrong in this regard too, so I avoided further discussion. Ultimately, they might have quality ingredients (which I didn't see, though), but knowing how to cook them to justify the price is another matter. Also note the €3.50 cover charge per person for the tablecloth and a basket of tavern-style bread. The service and the venue are good, but they could use a little more humility and attention to customer requests.
