Genuinely incredible Chinese food and this coming from a Chinese person. The quality of the dishes is world class/fine-dining almost and given the setting, it is a little pricey but understandable. I ate sweet and sour pork, fried rice and dumplings and all were great tasting!

Last night in Rome, thought we (6 friends) would try local Chinese. We stumbled upon a world class Chinese restaurant. The food was fantastic, highest quality, and I loved my Imperial Spring Rolls and Guandong Duck. My friends raved about their choices. Thank you for an unforgettable end to our holiday in Rome. And always take toilet door 4 😀. Love the toilet tiling, so beautiful.

This the best chinese food we’ve ever had!! And for amazing prices! The service was quick and friendly, the dumplings and the noodles seemed homemade and fresh, and the meat and fresh herbs in all our dishes was of great quality! The atmosphere and décor are very nice, I will definitely come back here!!

My friend and I ordered this as well as ma po tofu. It’s so far the best Chinese food we’ve had in Rome! Would absolutely go there again for the food and the service - the staff are super friendly! 😊

Good food, came twice, once takeaway and another dine-in Mapo tofu was good. The Szechuan fish tasted more like sweet n sour fish. The Shanghai prawn was also like some version of sweet n sour prawns. Waiters were moderate, had 1 broccoli dish late but it was good. But the boss was very nice when he handled us for takeaway

We have ALWAYS been very keen on the place since they opened as il Padiglione delle Cicogne. We always suffered a very poor service but the food was always good. Recently the taste has changed. We asked to have all the food together but waited close to an hour. We were the second table but finished last. Nobody apologised. We had Pad Thai, Soya spaghetti with very tasteless vegs and mince Then Beef in black pepper with a very strange new taste. We planned to have an interesting sweet but were so fed up that I took a doggy bad and went home. The owner is a very talented Chef. He is very nice, polite he always recognises us even after not having seen him for a long time. Possibly because we are bilingual. IT IS A GREAT PITY. My husband was Manager in Cafe de Paris in Rome and Barracuda in Baker street and San Martino in St. Martin,s Lane in London. He might not mind to give a few tips FREE if interested.

Terrible service. I really wanted to like this place, but the staff are incredibly disorganized. And the place was only half full! We were the 2nd group to come into this restaurant, and ordered 4 dishes for 4 people. (2 Sweet & Sour Pork, 1 Melanzane Al Modo di Sichuan, and 1 Chao Main - and 2 sides of white rice.) The Chao Main came out first, and my husband finished his meal well before the other dishes ever arrived. When they did arrive, we had to ask 3 times for the rice. Our food got cold while we waited. Then when we finally received the rice, it was cold too! The staff were very nice, and the food was good. However this restaurant really needs better management.

Racism restaurant. Asian can't take meal inside. Nobody in the restaurant, but they said tables are reserved already, so we have to seat outside. So all we groups take dinner outside. We were around 10 people. The important thing is that only some whites took dinner inside, and more half of tables were empty until our dinner was finished.
