Modernista has the best burgers in Pavia! I never expected such good burgers from a bar, but every time I return to Pavia I always come here; it's become my little indulgence. My favorite is "Sì, lo voglio" (Yes, I want it), which is truly delicious. The staff is always kind and welcoming, the service is excellent, and the place (including the bathroom!) is always clean. I've never left Modernista disappointed. Thank you 🫶🏻
One of the best place. And food is amazing.
Good, thirst-quenching beer. Delicious chicken wings served with chips and sauce. Excellent sandwich. I didn't have time to take a photo, but I have a picture with the owners. Guaranteed fun. Recommended.
Really nice atmosphere, good quality wine, yummy food. Situated into the pedestrian area of the historical center is a lovely spot were to sit after have been walking around.
Without any hesitation, one of the best bars to enjoy in Pavia! The staff is very welcoming and needless to say, LGBTQ-friendly, staff. Inside the bar is quite warm during winter, but their outdoor terrace is recommended in summer. Lots of cocktail options!
Great bar in Pavia. The atmosphere was buzzing every night. We came for the happy hour and it was fantastic (both in taste and price!). Needless to say, we came back again during our stay.

Who's afraid of Pona? The manager won't let you leave unless you don't shot a tequila. But if you're fine with that, the service and the food are excellent and the atmosphere is cozy and friendly.

Great atmosphere for a beer and a puccia or a burger. The cocktails aren't exceptional, but they're good. The sandwiches are above average, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the generous portions. It's a shame the service is a bit slow and confusing. The atmosphere is cheerful and fun, and the lights above the outdoor tables in front of the church are very pretty.
A very nice place with truly unbeatable prices: €6 for a liter of spritz/beer is a great deal. To step out of your comfort zone, I recommend trying the red spritz, which you'll be hard-pressed to find anywhere else outside of Pavia.

The drinks are good in term of price, but the arrosticini have a really low quality.
Carino, in zona centrale della citta', molto affollato, troppo, venerdi' sera. Accoglienza fredda e distaccata , cibo e bevande consumate buone.

Thursday evening. Not much customer service. My partner and I sit at an empty table, waiting for staff. A young woman repeatedly passes by our table without so much as a glance. After 20 minutes, we ask if we can order, and she motions for us to wait a few minutes. A few minutes turns into an hour, so, after trying several times to get her attention without success, we decide to call it a night, not reluctantly. Only when she sees us get up does the young woman decide to approach her: we explain that we've been waiting for over an hour and that, since she didn't seem particularly busy, she must have remembered us much earlier. Anyway, it wasn't too bad: the charming bar next to San Tommaso welcomed us as it should. We'll be back soon, just a block away.
