So far the best ice cream in Italy. We arrived in the late evening being surprised that the place is still open. There were many delicious flavours and huge portions made out of it. The staff was friendly. There is also a little bench outside, so you can rest while eating the best ice cream in Bologna :) Totally recommended

Salted peanut and salted pistachio are my favorites. Dark chocolate and Tiramisu were very good as well. Very deep amazing flavors. Samurai is nice. Quinoa yogurt is nice and creative. Strawberry sorbet is nice. Wild berry sorbet needs less sugar. Suitable prices. Employees in both branches are not very nice. This branch has more flavors + vegan flavors as well, tables and chairs + toilet.

Great for a late night Gelato after dinner! We visited several times during our stay in Bologna as it was nearby and open late! Great selection of flavours but can’t resist the delicious simplicity of Fior Di Latte! We also had a Cannoli one night which was delicious too.

What an amazing taste. The variety the offer is just unmatchable, we come across this place after dinner, and it was open until late night. We tried few flavours, and all of which were very tasty. I recommend the peanut gelato, and the chocolate hazelnut gelato, they are my favourite.

Omg.. I have tried gelato in many places in the world and Italy. This is by far the best. Exactly how I like it gelato with lots of ingredients, textures, and tastes. I ended up eating 6 flavors over 2 servings and I love them all. 4 euros for 3 scoops is a bit expensive for me but I guess once in a while is ok for a special treat 😋❤

This place is a long counter of milk ice cream, but in the back will be a separate set of 5-6 vegan flavors, which is awesome. I had the vegan hazelnut, and my husband had the dark chocolate. We got them in gluten free cones and we're not disappointed. Altogether, it was €6. We were satisfied with our large scoops. 😁

In the 80/90 was Gianni definitely the best ice cream shop in Bologna. Still good, but other competitors can offer even a better product.

I ordered pistachio, Inferno (milk, cream & cherry), and Kiss (chocolate & hazelnut). It costs 3.5 euro for three flavors. The portion is very generous, as you can see in the photo. The taste however, is just average. It is creamy but greasy as well, and it is overly sweet. It is unfortunate that the sugar is the No.1 flavor over everything else. I have traveled in Italy for 88 days now, and tried over 100 different gelato stores, this place simply cannot compete with the best in the business.

Don’t believe the hype. They serve diabetes in a cone - the gelato was way too sweet that it drowns the actual flavor. It’s also overpriced at 3.30€ for a cone of 2 flavors. You can find better quality gelato in town for the same price or less. Service was at least decent. It was an underwhelming experience..we couldn’t finish the gelato as it had no flavor but pure sugar
