Excellent from breakfast to aperitif. The coffee is the best in the area. The lunch service is very convenient, with a selection displayed on the counter and a card that allows you to immediately identify the dish you've chosen and its price. The aperitif menu features a wide selection of delicious small plates. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

Very clean place, friendly staff, but one star for the brioche. I ordered the pastry one (a cream-filled bombolone), and it was yesterday's. It's August, so I can understand that, but if you offer me a brioche from yesterday (my sister ordered the round puff pastry with cream, and that was also old), either write it down or give it a 50/50 discount. Because paying €1.90 for a day-old bombolone isn't exactly a good idea.

Not a particularly positive experience. Very disorganized service and stale tart. Maybe it was a bad Saturday... I'll evaluate better next time.

Initially, I only gave a rating, without a review. Following the comment requesting clarification, I'm about to provide one. I visited the tobacconist in August 2023 because I needed (rather urgently) a revenue stamp. When I asked for one, the owner, in a truly irritating manner, launched into an interminable tirade about how he makes no money selling revenue stamps and that if I really wanted one, I'd have to pay cash. In any job, there are aspects we don't like or that don't bring us profit, but they must be accepted as part of the package. My request was entirely legitimate, but it was denied, not because it was impossible, but because it was intentional, a very serious matter. I had to go to another tobacconist, where my request was granted without any fuss and even with a smile. The result is that I will definitely return to the second tobacconist, while I will never set foot in this one again. If I'd had to rate the tobacconist alone, I'd have given only one star, the same rating I'd give a restaurant where they refused to serve me a dish from the menu because the chef didn't want to cook it. However, since it's a bar/tobacconist, and I've only experienced the tobacconist, I gave the bar my all and averaged the scores, rounding up. So, it was far too generous a rating.

First things first: an apology to the staff behind the bar, because the times I've interacted with the girls have always been delightful, always a smile for a smile, and I'm so sorry if this disappointment of mine affects their work, but the situation gets worse the more I think about it, and this time I have no intention of giving up, as is my habit. I've already received questionable responses from the cashier/tobacconist/Lottomatica when I had the "courage" to ask to top up my prepaid card at lunchtime, because it was clearly an affront, even though there was no one else waiting to pay after me (in that case, I wouldn't have even thought of "interfering" with someone else's lunch break). But this time we've reached the top. The clerk made a mistake when writing down the top-up amount, adding a full €100 more than I'd told him, leaving me with a huge hard time covering the amount. When I asked to cancel the transaction or contact support to find out how, I was rudely told that it wasn't possible. The end. Not even an apology for making a mess, which I had to sort out, with no small amount of hassle, because people don't just snap their fingers and €100 magically appear, but the gentleman evidently doesn't know that. Furthermore, when I asked to pay the difference with a money transfer service, I was derisively told "absolutely not." Cash only. The same day the international payment system went down. The good thing about this guy is that I generally don't like raising my voice, I don't like being rude even in these situations, because something like this is truly serious, and such incompetence cannot and should not be passed on to the customer. In fact, both standard practice and common sense dictate that you don't confirm the payment until you have the amount in hand, precisely because human error is possible, whether it's misreading the amount or misspelling a number. But putting someone in this kind of predicament is not normal, and I won't accept it. My mistake, I thought the previous rude response was due to a difficult day, and I gladly gave it a second chance. I strongly advise you to avoid using this service at this establishment unless you're capable of conjuring up money you don't have. In cash, of course.

After paying the bill, they tell me I can't pay with my debit card because they don't make any money from it. Plus, they get the bill wrong and tell me I have to tell them the prices for the croissants at the cash register! I'm speechless. Plus, I paid over 9 euros for two biscuits, a croissant, a cappuccino, and a white latte! You decide. Now I understand why the employees are always changing!
