The 5 stars I gave are self-explanatory; these are my favorite places when you're out and about and need to stop for a bite to eat, without looking for anything special or fancy. The place is a shop/bar that also serves food. There's not a lot of seating, and the place feels like an old-fashioned osteria. Everything is clean, though. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos to show because, due to lack of space on my phone, I had to delete them before writing the review. We did, however, order the Piedmontese fritto misto, which was cooked to order, but the owners were kind enough to give us some. It wasn't exceptional, but it was appreciable. There were gnocchi with tomato sauce, vegetable flan, ratatouille, and mixed antipasti, all for four people, and we didn't even pay €100 in total. If you're on a budget, this is the place to go.

A trattoria offering good food, good wine, and very friendly staff, all at a very reasonable price. I usually go there for business lunches, but even when they offer themed lunches (like fried fish, etc.), the food is truly excellent and reasonably priced. They also offer takeout. What more could you ask for? Simply one of the best in the area.

We stopped for lunch after visiting Caraglio for the Castelmagno Gnocco Festival today, September 24th! We had a wonderful time; the simple, authentic cuisine and the staff were incredibly friendly! We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!
