I had an excellent and delicious coffee at the counter in this historic bar located in the heart of Genoa on Via San Vincenzo, which has no tables. This bar is known for its wide selection of sandwiches. The staff were truly friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, and friendly, with very fast service and really good prices!

I returned to Genoa with my kids, and since my youngest had been asking for a hot dog for a while, what better place than this? I ate them here as a young student and returned as an almost-retired person. My daughter was treated like a princess, after all, everyone has been treated like this since the dawn of time. Oh, and the hot dog? Amazing as always. Mayonnaise, ketchup, or mustard—to each their own! 10 out of 10.

One of Genoa's historic spots. On Via San Vincenzo, between the Briagnole station and the city center. Sandwiches of all kinds at incredibly affordable prices. Try their specialties: hot dogs, curentino (seasoned raw meat), pulled pork, their Welsh mix with salsa verde and hard-boiled egg; or their tuna or anchovy sandwiches; or their cured meats, many of which are local and high-quality. The owners are Genoese, which adds to their incredible charm. In short, it's definitely worth a try.

Buona scelta di panini fatti sul momento e hotdog. Selezione di superalcolici un po' basica, del resto è un locale prevalentemente diurno. Ottimo l'espresso. Veloci ma cortesi nel servizio. Molto popolare fra i genovesi.

Very nice local place. The Ambiente is awsome and the service was very friendly. I had a pulled pork Sandwich which was delicous but rather expensive (7.50€)

In 1948, the Gallese family acquired the historic "La Cicagnina" tavern. The building was seriously damaged after a naval bombardment. Afterward, business resumed under the name Osteria della Carolina. At the time, the restaurant also had an upstairs floor until the post-war crisis forced the municipality to reclaim the apartment above. Thus, partly out of necessity and partly by choice, the tavern was transformed into a cold food restaurant.

Very good sandwiches, excellent selection of fillings, including old-fashioned Genoa flavors! Purchased through Just Eat, fast service, good prices! Bakery bread, so more filling than fast food ones! I'm giving it a 4 only because I can't rate the place. I recommend it if you want to have lunch with friends while watching a great rugby match! The beer is also good!

I'm sorry to say that While I was drinking my coffee, I looked around and saw dead cockroaches on the floor. Going to the bathroom, I saw more cockroaches, both dead and alive, on the right. Please be more careful! A good pest control wouldn't hurt! Also, since I've never seen the bar renovated, maybe it's time to clean it up a bit! That won't stop me from coming here, because you're kind and the sandwiches are quite good! Good luck, no hard feelings.
