Siamo stati in questa pizzeria e l esperienza è stata molto positiva. Siamo passati davanti al locale e abbiamo chiesto se aveano un tavolo da 6 erano le 20 passate di sabato sera.. quindi le probabilità erano minime. Infatti ci avevano detto che non avevano tavoli liberi...noi ci siamo incamminati, e dopo un pò ci sentiamo chiamare, la ragazza è corsa dietro per dirci che riuscivano a darci un tavolo....super gentili. Le pizze e tutto il resto era davvero buonissimo. Ve lo consiglio vivamente.
Marchio in franchising, che conta diverse pizzerie tra cui Trieste e Udine. La pizzeria è in una posizione comoda, a circa 600 mt da piazza unità d'italia e in una zona viva e piena di localini. Siamo arrivati alle 22 senza prenotazione, il locale era pieno, ma ci hanno subito fatti accomodare offrendoci il loro classico prosecchino di benvenuto. La lista delle pizze vegane si è notevolmente ampliata dall'ultima volta che sono andata da Assaje (a Udine) e la scelta è davvero invitante. Inoltre ogni pizza può essere richiesta senza glutine. Impasto gf buono, ma condimento super. Io ho scelto una pizza senza glutine e vegana ai 3 pomodori : resa della mozzarella vegana davvero spaziale, buonissima ! A fine cena offrono selezione di liquori e caramelle gommose. Complimenti per la volontà di essere sempre più inclusivi Consigliato 👍🏻
Situato in una piazzetta pedonale a due passi dalle rive di Trieste in un atmosfera magica con i tavoli esterni in una zona molto vivace di sera. Consiglio la prenotazione. L'accoglienza con un prosecchino e l'A rivederci a fine cena con i i limoncello, il meloncello, il pistacchiello II mush mellow i lecca lecca e le zeppole con la Nutella offerte dalla casa. Ma è la pizza di altissima qualità il piatto forte a mio parere una delle pizze migliori della città ricche e con prodotti di qualità.
Sono rimasto davvero sorpreso da questo locale. Arriviamo in 5 senza aver prenotato, locale pieno,ma in pochi minuti ci fanno accomodare. L'attesa viene allietata da un prosecco offerto dalla casa. Tempi di attesa corretti, tra bevande e cibo saremmo stati serviti da 4/5 camerieri differenti e tutti molto gentili, rapidi e disponibili. Antipasti buoni, ma la pizza eccellente. Qualità prezzo davvero ottimi.Complimenti a tutto lo staff, gestisco una pizzeria napoletana all'estero e parlo con cognizione di causa.
Ci hanno accolti con un bicchierino di vino bianco fresco. Antipasti sfiziosi e buoni. Pizza super. Alla fine ci hanno omaggiati di lecca lecca e liquori. Servizio gentile e rapido. Conto onesto.
Pizza napoletano super buona in un ambiente super accogliente. Ogni volta che vengo da Assaje mi sento super coccolata. E la pizza è fantastica x da provare la scarpone, la nerano e anche la Margherita. Molto buoni anche i fritti e i dolci. Raccomando la delizia al pistacchio (favolosa)

Ho avuto il piacere di mangiare una domenica a pranzo. Ci trovavamo zona porto, abbiamo parcheggiato (gratuitamente) in prossimità di Eataly e dopo soli 3 minuti a piedi eravamo in pizzeria. I camerieri, sin dal primo momento gentilissimi e con il sorriso, ci hanno accompagnato al tavolo. Dopo pochi minuti che eravamo seduti è arrivata la loro amuse bouche :) le alghette fritte. Buone, non "inzuppate di olio" e soprattutto non salate. Per iniziare, abbiamo ordinato un mix di fritti, una mozzarella di bufala campana (come si suol dire, cacciava realmente ú latt, nonostante eravamo a Trieste)con pomodorini e ovviamente da bere. I fritti, come le alghette, PROMOSSI a pieni voti. Fritti si, ma non inzuppati. Saporiti ma non salati. Poi abbiamo preso due pizze che ci ha incuriosito molto (e menomale che l'abbiamo prese). La pizza crunch. Una simil pizza alla romana, quindi alta e croccante. Così leggero l'impasto credetemi che io dopo 2 ore l'ho già digerita. Era meravigliosa. Una con pomodoro, mozzarella di bufala e scaglie di formaggio sopra e l'altra (quella che ho preferito) con ricotta, salsiccia, patate, granella di pistacchio e scaglie di formaggio. Mia moglie e la moglie del mio amico ci hanno "abbandonato" ma io e Antonio non potevamo non provare la loro Pizza Napoletana. Quindi abbiamo ordinato una bella salsiccia e friarielli. Nonostante avevamo mangiato tanto, ce la siamo mangiata con grandissimo piacere. Ingredienti sopra equilibrati, impasto classico napoletano lievitato alla perfezione, a tal proposito, non posso non aprire questa parentesi. Appena entrare guardate "su" in alto e noterete un timer grande e uno spazio con diversi macchinari (impastatrici etc) bene, quella è la loro camera di lievitazione. Abbiamo terminato con un tris di liquori gentilmente offerto dallo staff. Prezzi onesti (tutto questo, compreso di bibite 76€), personale gentile, puliti e nonostante tutto pieno anche abbastanza veloci. 5 stelle meritate.
Ho finalmente mangiato la vera pizza napoletana con ingredienti eccellenti e genuini, lievitata come si deve e cotta a puntino. Squisita e leggera. Allo stesso livello i fritti, croccanti e non unti.ed i dolci tipici. Eccellente il servizio.
La mia prima volta qui su consiglio di mia figlia, direi che é stata un'ottima esperienza. La pizza di mia figlia con salsa di zucca e cipolla caramellata era perfetta, la mia Crunch con patate e salsiccia é stato un esperimento piú che gradito...invito a provarle entrambe! Alla fine del pasto si può gustare un tiramisú "sorpresa servito in moka da caffé ...provare per credere!!! 😍 Sorpresa anche il simpatico servizio di lecca lecca a fine pasto😊 Prenotazione direi molto consigliata.
Senza dubbio una delle pizzerie migliori di Trieste se non la migliore in assoluto. Abbiamo atteso 5/10 minuti in piedi ma durante l’attesa ci hanno offerto un piatto di zeppole e due piccoli calici di vino. Entrambe le pizze erano davvero buonissime, l’impasto morbidissimo e i sapori si sposavano a meraviglia. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è eccellente, dato che le pizze hanno prezzi onestissimi. Finite le pizze portano gratuitamente 3 liquori di gusti diversi e la lista dei dolci. Anche i dolci erano squisiti. Tutto questo accompagnato da un personale sempre gentile, sorridente e disponibile. Consigliatissimo
Assaje a Trieste è uno di quei posti che scopri per caso e dove poi torni per scelta. La pizza è semplicemente straordinaria: impasto leggero, bordi alti e soffici, ingredienti freschissimi che profumano di vera tradizione napoletana. Anche la parte di friggitoria merita una menzione speciale: crocchè, frittatine e montanare croccanti fuori e morbide dentro, proprio come quelle che mangeresti nei vicoli di Napoli. Il personale è gentile, veloce e sempre col sorriso, e l’atmosfera è accogliente, perfetta sia per una cena informale che per una serata tra amici. Una pizzeria friggitoria che porta un angolo di Napoli nel cuore di Trieste. Consigliatissima
Esperienza da 5 stelle, ci hanno accolto con un prosecco mentre hanno cercato di organizzarci un tavolo interno per ben 12 persone, (non avevamo prenotato), ci sono riusciti in pochissimo tempo. Ci hanno accolto e accomodato in modo informale ma molto molto attento, pizza ottima e squisita, servita in tempi corretti. Servizio top. Amaro offerto e prezzo altrettanto...BRAVISSIMI CONTINUATE COSI!
I think i had the best pizza in this place in my life. It was all you think in xour mind a pizza should be. Thin, where it should be thin, fluffy where it should be fluffy, great ingredients. Staff is wery nice, also you get a complimentary glass of prosseco as an aperitive, after meal, wery friendly waitress brought us also a complimentary selection of fruit liquers, i suggest melon , i think by taste it was cantaloupe melon. So, thumbs up, cheers

Great pizza and great service. Try the classics and some new contemporary pizzas. It gets busy during dinner so either get there early or be prepared to wait some time. You can enjoy free prosecco while you wait, and at the end of meal there is free meloncello and sweets.
Great pizza and you get free prosecco to start, free donuts after and fruit liquors! So delicious. It was very busy on a Friday night so luckily we got there just as it opened and managed to get a table without a booked. Would recommend booking!

On our holiday we Went there for just dessert and some drink. The Tiramisu was amazing! It was really cutely served and the people were alright and there were no problems. ☕
Nice pizzeria with very good vegan options. I chose vegan pistachio and vegan Mortadella! 10/10 U get a welcome drink of prosecco! The service is fast and nice. Our waitress spoke english very well! Will come back soon!
Very delicius pizza! We ordered Mortadela & Pistacio and traditional Capriciosa. Both were very good and I can say that was the best pizza I ever tried. Staff are great, very kind and polite. We got prossecco at the beggining and also three types of house liqueres :) at the end we take pistacio tiramisu and it was very delicius as well. We recommend! :)
Absolutely phenomenal pizza! The ingredients are top-notch, and the crust is made in true Neapolitan style—light, airy, and incredibly flavorful. Every bite melts in your mouth! They also have excellent draft beer that pairs perfectly with the pizza. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the young staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. A must-visit spot in Trieste for any pizza lover!
Goated 10/10 restaurant everything was 👑. When we entered they gave us free wine to taste, the menu has so many choices it is impossible to choose from, the staff was very very nice and the overall service was the best. The food is the best pizza I have had in my life. And after we finished they gave us free dessert, drinks and candies.
The food was very nice. We got a free shot of prossecco at the start when we entered the restaurant. After we ate we also got free lollipops and free limoncello. The staff was nice and talkative. The prices were also pretty normal, one pizza was 8-12,50 euros.
Very lovely place. The service is top level. We had to wait a little bit in the evening to get a spot outside (maybe 10min) and got something to drink for free. The service was more than caring. Always checking. The pizza was very great, the Aperol Spritz was very tasty and not too blend. Really great. 10/10
Central location, very close to the modern art gallery, the sea and everything else. The restaurant is mostly visited by tourists. The food is excellent, the ingredients are of high quality. The menu is so innovative that you want to try some things that are hard to find in other restaurants. Real Neapolitan pizzas that are excellent. The service is very bad. The restaurant was not full, but the guys who are working are walking around and don't come in time to take the order...or ask if you need anything else. If you need something difficult to call them from the table, you have to get up. and go to them. Caution!!!! Draft beer comes lukewarm...not cold at all, which they don't understand🤔....In the end, the prices are quite acceptable...
Siamo stati da Assaje una domenica a pranzo ed abbiamo mangiato nella parte esterna del locale. Ambiente informale, i camerieri sono molti e quindi sempre disponibili, la pizza era buona anche se l’olio era decisamente in eccesso, peccato perché sarebbe stata da 5 stelle. Carina l’idea dei liquori offerti a fine pasto.
La pizzeria si trova vicino alla piazza centrale e fa da angolo fra due zone pedonali. Al suo interno si sviluppa su due piani. Il menù è bello corposo (che tra l'altro viene proposto sia in italiano che in inglese per ovvi e giusti motivi di turismo) passando dagli antipasti, alle pizze tradizionali fino a quelle gourmet. È stato strano riceve come benvenuto un bicchiere di carta di prosecco. Le pizze erano buone peccato che l'olio messo era leggermente abbondante. . . E come fine pasto: un tris di liquori (limoncello, melone e mela) abbinato a un albero di lollipop e marshmallows servizio giusto e nella media. Il prezzo ovviamente è da città quindi ci può stare. . .
Gli impasti, le materie prime, le pizze di ottima qualità. Molta scelta nel menù, anche per celiaci. Carino il prosecco offerto all'ingresso ed i mashmellow, chupa chupa e liquorini offerti alla fine del pasto. Scadente il servizio al cliente. Abbiamo prenotato un tavolo da 10 persone per le ore 21:00 ed abbiamo dovuto aspettare fuori al freddo fino alle 21:30 affinché si liberassero i tavoli...questa è una pecca nell'organizzazione della sala.
Ho assaggiato le pizze vegane e devo dire fatte molto bene, sono stato sia a cena che a pranzo e il servizio è stato eccellente. Unico neo: a cena (più affollata) entrambe le nostre pizze erano un po’ troppo bruciate sotto e ciò ha inficiato il gusto del pizza stessa. Il voto relativo al cibo sarebbe stato 3 ma dò 4 per le numerose opzioni vegane che rendono Trieste ancor più inclusiva.
Assaje è una catena di pizzerie, che propone la pizza tradizionale napoletana, anche in rivisitazione moderna. La location è molto bella, davanti al museo rivoltella, all'inizio dell area pedonale di via Torino, difficile trovare parcheggio. Il locale è su due piani, i tavolini sono piccolini, si sta un po stretti. Il menu propone le pizza tradizionale napoletana, aggiungendo ai gusti classici delle pizze gourmet. La pizza è ben proporzionata, con un bel cornicione alto, ricca di ingredienti e di buona qualità, i difetti secondo me sono stati la cottura a macchia di leopardo, (probabilmente il forno non era a temperatura) presentava una punta amara. Personale gentile, locale pulito. A fine pasto ci sono stati omaggiati dei dolcetti marshmellow e una giro di liquori limoncino/pistacchio. Prezzi da centro città. Lo consiglio,
Good pizza, but nothing special. Too much tomato sauce on all pizzas. We wait almost 1 hour for food (they forgot us).
Pizza was perfectly fine, but nothing extraordinary. Service was good, they hand out complementary liqueurs and lollipops which is cute. It's nice to sit outside when weather allows it. Interior is good too. Popupar and busy place, but nevertheless we got a table after about 10 min of waiting.
The pizza is really tasty, but the crust is not crispy at all and the dough is a little bit chewy. The prices are normal, we have payed 50€ for 3 pizzas,2 glasses of wine and two water bottles. 👍
We went to Assaje on a recommendation and did not regret it. That's why I now recommend it to others. The pizzeria opened at noon, and we were there a few minutes after they opened. We ordered food and drinks and sat down in the empty garden. Our coffee hadn't arrived yet; the garden was packed to the last chair! I have never seen such a rush of guests! I believe that without a reservation, it is difficult to get a seat here. There is only pizza for food, and it is excellent! The staff is friendly, but you can see that they are in a big crowd and they keep forgetting something. After we ate the pizza, they put a huge jar of gummy candies on the table, a kibble with three bottles of fruit liqueurs, and a stand with lots of lollipops because there was a child with us. We were delighted and tried everything. Of course, they charged us for all that in the end, but we didn't protest because we enjoyed drinking liquor and getting sweet (more for the kid than for us). All in all, an exciting place and great pizza!
Years after my first dinner experience there, I went back to Assaje this week. We are enjoying our time outside following the yellow zone guidelines just like everyone else, and they are definitely impressing people with their welcome drinks, fried dough appetizers and little bottles of liquore. The service was incredibly fast. And the pizza is simply delicious.
Pizze un po troppo unte e pesanti, ambiente carino e servizio adeguato
Pizza was nice, but the glasses came soaking wet on the table when we ordered wine, I worked years in service and I really didn’t like that. I understand sometimes the machine is full and it has to be washed by hand but that’s what polishing glasses is for. It wasnt even just stained there was literally water in my wine. The pizzeria is also not a cheap one.
Prenotato ore 20:30, entriamo e ci mandano fuori senza chiederci se abbiamo prenotato o il nome del tavolo, entriamo dopo 20 minuti di attesa e dopo esserci accomodati ci spostano dicendo che il tavolo è errato. Nessuna empatia,nessun "scusate", mancano le basi minime dell'accoglienza. Pizza buona e servita in breve tempo ma l'educazione è un fattore imprescindibile e qui siamo ai minimi storici.
I don't leave many reviews and I usually don't like to leave a bad review, but I feel like I have to this time. Let me start by saying that I've dined here a fee times and the pizzas are good. What was unacceptable this time was the service. We had booked a table for 5 for dinner and we got here right on time. We made our way inside, it was quite busy, and after a minute we had been standing in front of the reception desk, we were asked if we had a reservation - quite rudely, and with the attitude of someone expecting us to say we did jot have one - to which we confirmed we had one indeed, but instead of being asked to confirm the name and time, we were told to go and wait outside - mind it's end of December and it is quite cold outside. We stepped outside and waited a few minutes, but no one came to check on us. After about 15 min, one of us stepped in to check with the receptionist and was told he will be with us in a couple of minutes. A few minutes pass and the receptionist comes out just to take another couple inside, and without an apology, just told us he will be with us in another couple of minutes. After almost half an hour from the original booking time, we are escorted to a table upstairs - the receptionist also mentions that he will offer us a prosecco for the inconvenience. No server brings a menu to the table - let alone the prosecco - which we take as a sign we should probably check the menu online, which we do. After 5 minutes the receptionist comes to our table saying that he git our name wrong and that he sat us at the wrong table. We are in disbelief now, but decide to not make a fuss as we just wanted to enjoy our evening abd were quite hungry already at this point. We are sat downstairs and from now a waitress looks after us for the rest of the evening and she was lovely and professional. At the end of the meal, we had received a couple of complimentary snacks and shots - which are offered with compliments to every table, I know as I've been to this restaurant many times. No complimentary prosecco - which we wouldn't have cared for anyway - or any discount on the bill. What's more, not even an attempt at apologising. Needless to say, I won't be back again.
