Abbiamo soggiornato 5 giorni al Passo del Tonale, la settimana di Ferragosto. Abbiamo usufruito dei servizi di questo Bar, Ristorante, Paninoteca in varie occasioni. Il giorno del nostro arrivo abbiamo mangiato 3 panini ( per modo di dire ) tutti buoni e grandi, e una cosa che mi ha colpito e' stata la salsiccia all'interno del mio, che risultava tenera e succosa, mentre in altri luoghi mi risultava essere secca. Un altra sera abbiamo usufruito del cibo da asporto, ordinando uno Stinco con polenta e 2 spezzatino di capriolo con polenta. Porzioni super abbondanti ( ne e' rimasto per il giorno dopo ) e soprattutto della bonta' dei piatti. Abbiamo provato la pizza, super farcita. E il giorno di ferragosto abbiamo pranzato diretamente al ristorante, curiosi anche di vedere se le porzioni fossero ugualmente abbondanti. Risultato ? Piatti super abbondanti e buoni. Che dire ! Lo super consiglio ! Senza contare che e' gestito da persone Genuine e pronte a farvi felici. Il mio unico rammarico e non aver potuto salutare Pasquale ( il Cuoco ) una persona fantastica e alla mano, e potergli dire che la costata che mi aveva consigliato di prendere NON era Buona, ma Buonissima ! Andate senza fretta ( ricordatevi che ogni tanto bisogna rilassarsi ) e sicuramente NON venne pentirete !

The best bar in Passo Tonale. Been coming back for 4 years now and every time it’s a pleasure to see Tony and the rest of the staff, they go above and beyond to make your time special. They remember everyone’s names and make you feel special. They greet you every day with open arms. Food is also great choice, great value and very tasty. We will be back!!

Great place to stop and eat local food as kanederli in brodo, spetzli con spinachi, strudel, tiramisù. Very fair prices for big portions. Extremely nice service. Menu in different languages, even in Polish. However, ask for local traditional specialities, they were only in Italian menu. Lots of place to sit: inside and outside with beautiful view for mountais, clean toilet.

This is a lovely place to stop and have lunch. The food is great and the service is excellent. Music is also very good, which does create a great atmosphere. Very reasonable priced food and drinks and is in a great position next to the chair lifts.

This place gets busy around lunch time because of how great it is. The staff are friendly while the food delicious and filling. We stopped in here frequently for a 11am espresso and snack before getting back out on the pistes, I would recommend stopping in here if you're in the area.

First skiing holiday and this place is exactly what I thought it would be like at the slopes! The staff are very welcoming and we even had a few free tasters. Food and beer was spot on. Busy at lunch times but a post slope snack/beverage it was nice perfect:

Il rapporto qualità-prezzo buono, soprattutto considerando la posizione privilegiata del ristorante e l'alta qualità degli ingredienti. Consiglio vivamente una visita al Ristorante Il Rododendro a chiunque si trovi al Passo Tonale.

Il posto è molto caratteristico in quanto in uno spazio aperto, circondato dalle dolomiti. Il menù presenta piatti combinati a 20 euro l'uno molto abbondanti e ben cucinati. Birra buona.

Bar e self service a passo del tonale , comodo parcheggio davanti (se siete a sciare lo trovate libero fino alle 8 am) . Cucina tipica montanare , prezzi allineati con la zona . Bar accogliente con tavolini fuori dove ci si può fermare tra una discesa e l’altra . Wi-Fi

Luogo informale, ma abbastanza carino, soprattutto all'aperto, e collocato proprio ai piedi del Tonale. Abbiamo mangiato due insalatone non mali (12 € l'una), ma il ristorante offre anche piatti tipici della cucina tradizionale. Il servizio è veloce. L'unico appunto il prezzo dell'acqua, 4 € al litro, veramente troppo alto.

Staff didnt speak english wich was a big letdown in an area heavily visited by english speaking tourists and travellers. Unable to communicate with staff, not even to order a simple meal. Dissapointed.

Locale grande e spazioso con selfe service, comodo per chi scia, ampio spazio esterno ed interno, bagni e bar ben fornito. Il cibo e' molto semplice, a livello mensa piu che casereccio ma e' comprensibile visto il numero di persone che deve servire. Pizzoccheri insipidi questo giro e senza aglio, pasta al sugo ok, porzioni generose e servizio super ...scegliete voi se provarlo... 12€ la pasta al pomodoro e 4 una coca cola forse e' un po troppo ma siamo in alta stagione.

Dopo dieci anni di frequentazione pensavo di conoscere questo bar. Invece oggi ho scoperto una nuova specialità della casa: il sovrapprezzo creativo accompagnato da maleducazione vintage! Ordiniamo una focaccia (l’unica del menù, “Focaccia – €6”), una birra, acqua e un panino. Mia moglie chiede una “focaccia farcita”, ovvero quella che vendono tutti i giorni e che nel menù non presenta nessuna distinzione né maggiorazione. Semplice, no? Pare di no. Alla cassa il signore decide che la focaccia costa 7 euro, non 6. Chiediamo spiegazioni. Risposta: “Avete chiesto la focaccia farcita”. Peccato che l’unica focaccia del menù sia farcita, e che nessuno abbia mai sentito parlare di una versione “non farcita”. Alla richiesta di chiarire, il signore dichiara addirittura di non sapere “cosa mettono nei panini”, fantastico!! Un dettaglio trascurabile, certo, per chi lavora da una vita nel locale. Parte poi uno scaricabarile tragicomico: – una barista suggerisce che la focaccia farcita “ha anche l’insalata”; – il collega che prepara i panini la smentisce; – e nel frattempo il signore alla cassa URLA contro di noi, perché ovviamente il problema siamo noi che leggiamo il menù. Alla fine il signore, evidentemente a corto di argomenti, passa alla fase “urla a caso”, aggredendoci verbalmente e sostenendo che non sappiamo fare un’ordinazione. In effetti ordinare una focaccia da un menù che riporta una sola focaccia dev’essere un’impresa. Triste, perché alcuni camerieri sono molto gentili. Ma il combinato disposto di: - prezzo inventato e scontrini che non corrispondo a quanto acquistato, - spiegazioni contraddittorie, - totale ignoranza su ciò che si vende, - aggressività gratuita, rende questo posto un’esperienza da evitare con cura. Voto: zero. E già che ci siamo: sì, sto davvero andando a Roma, come il signore alla cassa mi ha così elegantemente suggerito. Magari lì le focacce hanno un prezzo, non una fantasia.

Disappointing experience. The waiter was unable to correctly calculate how much we had to pay for our food. Basic counting is an essential skill for someone working as a waiter, and this situation was frustrating and unprofessional. For this reason, I cannot recommend this restaurant/bar

We used the self service for a quick lunch while skiing. Since the bill was way more then I expected, I asked for the reciept. When I got it I saw that the cheapest thing on the bill was 5 euro’s. We had taking a drink that is 4 euro’s. I asked why the display price is 4 euro’s and they charged me 5. I asked how much the small fruit cup is. Before I could ask more questions. I got 50 cents and told to leave. I found it so unfair and mean. Not onces did they say sorry. I was the difficult one for asking questions about why they over charged me..

Be careful when you are going to pay your bill with tap and go. I have been charged € 50.00 for 2 Bombardini instead € 8.00. My bad that I haven’t checked at the moment. I called them later and explained what happened and they gave me a phone number where I had to send my details and a photos of the transaction. Never got an answer. Scammers.
