I've known this place for years and have never been disappointed, especially the food, which is always a testament to the quality of the service and friendliness of times gone by.
We went for a friend's baptism. The food was delicious, the staff were knowledgeable and truly friendly, and the location was perfect. I highly recommend it.
We attended a wonderful wedding where the friendly, polite, and patient staff complemented the excellent food. Despite the long day and night, the staff held firm until the very end of the event. Having rooms available for a night's stay is not something everyone can do, and it's an added bonus after enjoying a wonderful, restorative breakfast. I highly recommend it as a clean, fresh, and tidy venue.
We've been customers for 28 years, since our wedding day, and we've never missed an opportunity to celebrate our family's events. Claudia, Renata, and the entire staff are loving and know how to accommodate every customer's needs. Christmas, Epiphany, and Immaculate Conception (a feast of mixed fried food, their way) have always been top-notch lunches, and we've always been incredibly satisfied. I highly recommend it for any day of the week, event, or birthday. La Lenza is a top restaurant.
A cozy, homey restaurant with a peaceful view of the lake. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices for the food. Overall, a great place to spend time with friends ✌️
A well-kept and very clean restaurant. The upstairs dining room is spacious and bright. The Italian cuisine is exceptionally good. The service is attentive and precise, with never long waits. The portions are generous, and if you want more, you can always get seconds. Wines from Piedmont, Italy, and even from abroad are available. The waitresses are always helpful and always smiling. I highly recommend this restaurant.
I was here for a confirmation. We let them know at the last minute that two of us were vegetarians, and they immediately prepared some really good options. I ate a lot and was truly impressed by the vegetarian options. It's not a given that every restaurant can offer the same taste regardless of allergies or dietary habits. The staff was courteous and smiling. The place is fabulous. I'll definitely be back!
Excellent place with kind, understanding, and competent staff. They pay particular attention to those with food allergies, whether gluten or certain components (e.g., nickel, etc.). I recommend it to everyone, especially those with families or those with dietary difficulties. You guys are exceptional. This is a refined place with excellent food, and despite the small portions, they always come back a second time. I liked you, and I will definitely return with other friends. Well done, and congratulations.
The restaurant is located near a lake where you can fish. The food is simple and well-prepared. Our menu was meat-based. All the dishes were good, the portions were adequate, and there were plenty of options for second helpings. The dining rooms are spacious and welcoming, clean, and tidy. The wait staff is friendly and quick to serve. Our only regret was the rainy weather, which prevented us from walking along the lakeside. Recommended restaurant.

This restaurant, nestled in the countryside, overlooking a small artificial lake, is very characteristic. It's a beautiful two-story villa with spacious rooms. The decor is simple and elegant, with smaller tables and larger ones suitable for ceremonies. The large windows make the space very bright and welcoming. The seats are comfortable, and the table settings are simple yet elegant, with damask tablecloths. The dishes are served by young, courteous, and professional waitresses. The food is excellent, well-cooked, and the portions are generous. The ladies even wander around the tables asking if anyone wants more. We opted for the very affordable set menu, around €35 per person for a trio of appetizers, a first course, a second course, and dessert. The appetizers included an excellent carpaccio with arugula and parmesan, veal with tuna sauce, and a delicious vegetable tart. The first course consisted of tagliolini with a Barolo braised beef sauce, and the second course consisted of veal morsels accompanied by green beans and duchess-style potatoes. But the menu varies depending on the day's availability. For dessert, you can choose from the house selection. I had a peach and amaretti cake, soft and delicious. We also had guests with special dietary needs, including a vegetarian and a child, and they catered to these needs masterfully. Truly excellent. In short, at La Lenza you eat well, you spend a fair amount, and if you want, you can take a stroll outside in front of the lake, in a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for a short escape from the chaos of the city. Reservations are required.

We went to Lenza for an anniversary dinner and everything was truly excellent, the food, the (well-kept) atmosphere and the service! Which is why we wanted to make a good impression by bringing a table of 30 people... I called to make a reservation and to my disappointment, on the other end of the phone, I found a lady with a very annoyed tone while explaining the various menu choices, etc. etc.! When I asked if there was music at lunch, I was told: "There's already music in the next room and I'm certainly not going to add more music!" without even knowing who she was talking to on the phone! Let's just say that for those who choose this profession, kindness and courtesy are fundamental... and if you have personal problems you should make an effort to welcome customers kindly! Having said that, we opted for another place!
And it was an Easter lunch!! This year, for the traditional Easter lunch, we decided to have lunch at the La Lenza restaurant in Volpiano. 50-euro fixed menu! When choosing a menu like this, you know you can go down two paths: 1: medium-low quality but plenty of it. 2: high quality but tiny portions. Then there's the third path that you wouldn't wish on anyone (think about yourself): medium-low quality and tiny portions. It just so happens that, despite all the good luck, it's the path we chose. Very classic appetizers: Albese (2 slices), Valeriana (lots) and Grana Padano (a few shavings), Prosciutto Crudo (2 slices), creamed asparagus puffs (ONE! About 3 cm in diameter). A small bowl of sea bass with pistachios and red cabbage, small and awkward to eat...let's just say it was a failed experiment. First courses: Egg pasta dumplings with zucchini and shrimp (straight from the TV show "Chi l'ha visto"), another failed experiment. Large rabbit plin with roast sauce... good! So good they decided not to overdo it... 3 plin each. A disheartening lemon groppino. The Easter highlight... the lamb!! Excellent, but given the shortage of Piedmontese lamb, they used scales, a small piece, and 5 baked potatoes. Then the piece with the bang (at least for me!, since I love it so much): 3 small pieces of SWEET Piedmontese mixed fried food (semolina, apple, apricot!) placed on the same plate as the lamb sauce as a side dish... UNFORGIVABLE!, especially because the semolina was DELICIOUS, but tasting it with lamb sauce loses a bit!! Don't you think so!!?? Let's skip dessert (in fact, it was left on the plates... and certainly not because we were stuffed and full!) Kids' menu €20 (the classic) with cooked ham, pasta with tomato sauce or plain pasta, but immediately afterward they started asking the parents: "Shall we bring the meat? Shall we bring the potatoes? Shall we bring the ice cream?"... Let's just say that if it's a set menu, everything is already paid for, so you bring it! Otherwise, it's à la carte. Moral of the story: given the price paid, you could have asked for water, which is included (I'm not talking about wine).... You had to ask for it every time. The set of ultra-aged glasses, in my opinion, dates back 30 years! It was the highlight of the lunch (investing in the restaurant, right?)
