Abbiamo pranzato seduti nei tavoli all’aperto, nonostante il gran caldo della giornata siamo stati bene grazie all’ombra degli ombrelloni e della piazza. Il menù è vario con specialità sia liguri che di altre regioni. Ottima la burrata su pappa al pomodoro, molto buona anche la calamarata con il pesto eoliano.

Locale nascosto tra i caruggi in una piazza bella e silenziosa, sembra quasi un'oasi in mezzo alla città caotica. Trovato per caso ne siamo rimasti entusiasti e vorremmo tornare per assaggiare altri piatti. Nel menu ci sono piatti liguri famosi e meno, e altri italiani.

Una cena con amici in un ristorante scelto a caso… Direi un bel colpo di fortuna,locale carino e accogliente,servizio curato, con la simpatia del ragazzo siciliano che ci ha spiegato i piatti del menù. Rapporto qualità prezzo direi ottimo. Io mi faccio sempre una domanda,ci tornerei? Sì ci tornerò.

Consigliati da un genovese, io e mia moglie abbiamo cenato in questa tipica "osteria". Il dehors nel quale siamo stai fatti accomodare, è perfettamente inserito all'interno di una bellissima piazzetta del centro storico genovese. Il personale si è da subito dimostrato attento e "simpaticamente" premuroso nei nostri confronti. Il menù chiaro e senza fronzoli offre piatti della tradizione ligure con alcune interessanti contaminazioni. Un antipasto in condivisione, un primo e un secondo, due desserts per finire. Tutto buonissimo. D'obbligo una menzione speciale per il pane fatto in casa.

Cibo molto buono. Prezzi onestissimi. Servizio cordiale, simpatico e veloce. Location veramente carina in una piazza piena di vita notturna. Super consigliato. Da provare le trenette al pesto!

The food was so delicious and everything was 10/10. Barbera who was our waitress and she was extremely professional and attentive and really looked after us. I had dinner at Il Fabbro yesterday evening. Essentially, I loved everything about it: if I ever open a restaurant, I would follow the same philosophy. I really appreciated the food: flavors and textures are combined in a good and interesting way, yet without being too complex or needing to be too fancy. I would recommend to ask the waiters to explain the menu to you (our waiter spoke French and also a bit of English), as it is only on a blackboard and may result inunderselling their plates. In addition to speaking multiple languages, waiters were really friendly and nice, and also service was quite quick. Atmosphere is minimal, simple and familiar, which I appreciate, so do not expect fancy decorations. In summary: good food and service with no unnecessary things around it, which I think is the essence of a traditional trattoria in Genova. Final note: just be careful on which road you use to get to the restaurant, as vicoli in Genova can get a bit scary, especially in the evening.

Didn't get any good pics so you get a half eaten octopus salad but this was soooooo good. We had pasta with ragu and chicken Currey with rice as well, all great! Highly recommend this place.

Excellent food in Genova. Very affordable with great food. The walk to the restaurant is perilous 😅, you have to pass alleyways with many young man hanging out and your mind playing tricks thinking that this will be a pretty scary or interesting experience. But once you enter the place you find warmth and the smell of good dinner waiting for you. Appetizers are excellent, have the burrata with very light but flavorful stewed tomatoes and bread. The spaghetti neri was perfect as was the bolognese, and vitello tonnato. Finish with amaro and great coffee and a dessert of fresh ricotta with cinnamon and honey. Worth braving through dark alleys with that distinct Genovese smell.

Best restaurant I have been to in Genova. The food is spectacular. I have had the tuna carpaccio with white beans, and then the “brandacujun” (white fish with potatoes and eggs). Dessert was goat cheese with cinnamon. Everything was delicious. Barbara, the woman in charge of serving, is very helpful and funny!

This is the kind of restaurant I dream of. The sort of place I could go to every day for forty years - they’d have my chair in the corner saved for me and send flowers to my funeral. Nothing fancy. Nothing fashionable. Just superb food done superbly. Every single thing was a knock out, right down to the French-style bread. Places like this are why Italy has the best food culture on earth.

Amazing range of dishes at great value! Staff all lovely and helpful, we felt welcomed and looked after. “Bucatini alla gricia” and “insalata di polpo grigliato con patate” were highlights and probably the best dishes we’ve had in italy! We visited Italy for three months and this was THE best restaurant we visited. The food was sublime - try their fish dishes if they have any! Very affordable, not touristy at all, and positioned in a cozy little piazza with outdoor seating under large umbrellas.

Recommended to us by an Italian lady who helped us buy train tickets, we thought let’s give it a go. A brilliant experience, the food was different and delicious. It was also very reasonably priced. I am glad we took the recommendation and if I were in Genoa again I’d definitely visit.

Bella trattoria nei vicoli con uno stile casereccio. Essendo una tavolata avevamo prenotato in anticipo un paio di giorni e il locale era pieno. Meno solo su lavagnetta, misto tra genovese, vari piatti italiani e non. Purtroppo non avevano bevande che non fossero acqua vino e birra e scarsa la scelta dei dolci per il resto il cibo era buono e in buone porzioni

Siamo rimaste semplicemente entusiaste dopo l' antipasto con tonno e fagiolane e i 2 secondi di polpo e patate e baccala' su letto di salsa di ceci!!!! Piatti delicati e revisitati anche per gli occhi oltre che per il palato! I ragazzi che ci hanno servito sono simpaticissimi e ci hanno fatto sentire a casa! Ci hanno anche offerto l' amaro. Il caffe' buonissimo :fatto con la moka e con all' interno semi di cardamomo e la cameriera ce ne ha anche regalati una manciatina a testa! Tornero' sicuramente!!

locale nel pieno centro storico, location esterna bellissima. piatti tipici di varie parti d'Italia di buon livello. giudizio positivo e tirneremo. le stelle sono tre in quanto al massimo ne assegno quattro ed in questo caso i piatti mi sembravano un po' freddi... torneremo e rimarremo sicuramente ancora più soddisfatti! a presto

Siamo stati a mangiare qui qualche sera fa, nei tavoli all'aperto in una piazzetta molto carina. Il menù è abbastanza contenuto con portate sia di mare che di terra. Piatti non eccezionali ma comunque buoni. Tra tutto abbiamo preferito le trenette al pesto. La cameriera è stata molto simpatica e gentile, anche se un po' agitata, forse perché era una serata incasinata. Comunque è stata una cena piacevole

Unbelievably strange experience - there is no menu available in English, the only menu is handwritten on a blackboard in Italian. The poor waitress needed to explain to all customers the whole menu - unfortunately it didn’t help a lot 🫣 The whole service didn’t seem to have any organisation, it left very bizarre and weird impression of the place. The prices are good, but the food and service left much to wish for.
