Bought chicken salad from the case and a loaf of bread. Cashier did not greet us, and walked away after prompting the payment. Didn’t say a word, just walked away.. very rude to not wait for the transaction to be completed seeing as the first question on the card reader is “Tip?” . I’m not even sure she told me the total. No receipt. I said goodbye to empty air.

Solid coffee shop with this location much smaller than Pittsford spot but more comfortable to sit and relax. Food is pretty good especially breads. Not cheap but breakfast options for most people. Regular coffee as good with all of the espresso drinks you would expect. You won’t find much better in a mall.

We come here for lunch a lot. It's usually busy but a short wait. I love the fact they offer half salads. 🥗 They are huge. Always something good to drink and sweet Cookies. Molasses is the best!

Just came to get a sweet treat. The macarons are really delicious and larger than some other places. The cafe was extremely crowded and loud even at an off hour.

Decided to try a new place. The Southwest salad was good not the best I have had but good. The dressing wasn't my all time favorite. I also tried the peanut butter and banana smoothie which was very good. They have so many more options so I recommend this place so you can find something you like.

What can I say about this location? Well, first off holy cow the prices are crazy, says the person who has never eaten there before. Then you order the Mac and you wait upstairs in a basic grey modern sitting area like every cafe goes for. You eat a strawberry macaroon thinking to yourself, “damn I could’ve gone to another cafe for something like this.” Then your name gets called...bam you’re eating a mayo basil egg sausage sandwich with the freshest mayo and bread you ever tasted. The quality of the food is great and in my opinion worth it. I’d prefer if you got a side with the sandwich instead paying $8.00for a sandwich but I can’t complain, it was delicious and I will continue going there.

I love Village Bakery, but unfortunately this location very poorly executed our order through grubhub. Both our drinks were disgusting (the smoothie had two whole dates in it and no ice so it was more of a weird juice texture, and an iced coffee with grounds) and they did not follow our instructions for dressing on the sides for both salads, so we had soggy salads to go with it.

Good food, poor service. I went around 2:30 pm and there was a decent wait. That’s fine, but they didn’t let people know that they were out of all breads and smoothies until you got to the front. The manager was rude to the employees and wouldn’t help us. There were good bakery options and a gluten free/vegan cookie!

A tale of high hopes and soggy dreams: the lumpy tuna chronicles. Ordered a tuna sandwich and received what can only be described as ‘bread’s awkward first attempt at hugging tuna.’ The sandwich was lumpy, sad, and tasted like regret. As if that wasn’t enough, they forgot the chips AND the pickle!—two staples of a respectable sandwich experience. To top it off, my wife, who was all set for her toast-tasting extravaganza, was left high and dry with no jam or butter. It’s almost like they were playing a cruel game of ‘How Disappointed Can We Make Them?’ Spoiler alert: they won. Would not recommend unless you enjoy disappointment served on toasted bread.

Based on my visit, don’t bother. The shrill, rude woman at the counter made for a terrible atmosphere. As I stood waiting for my to go breakfast sandwich, as it sat boxed on the counter, she checked her cell phone, then turned and started running the cash register and taking orders. Even though there was a man running the register and making the drinks. She then set up an order that came out AFTER mine, and called it out. She finally bagged my sandwich after it sat for 3 minutes, then half turned, put it on the counter without even looking at me or anyone and said “to go for ____” I was standing right in ftont of her. No thank you, no bye, no nothing as dhe turned back to the empty food order shelf. Please see the messy cold sandwich I paid $10 for, and even tipped for. How can I even give a fair assessment on the food - who wants to eat cold eggs?! My order was for no gruyere sauce, but again, please see the pics of the sandwich. How can I eat this mess in my car? I was traveling through this town, and thought I’d give a local place my money. It is a shame that this surly counter person, and mistaken order spoiled my experience. Better luck to anyone who tries this place - check your order before you leave, and speak up.

It was my first time at Village Bakery, and I was kind of excited to check it out. I waited patiently in line, but when it was finally my turn to order, the girl at the counter (no name tag—dark hair, darker complexion, black glasses) looked absolutely miserable, and her attitude was enough to make me cancel my order midway and walk out. Pro tip: if you’re having a bad day, don’t take it out on your customers. Saturday May 3rd at 1:15.
