This spot has tasty Acai bowls right off state street so refreshing with easy online ordering for pickup! Owner is super friendly too!
We had a very delicious açaí bowl with fresh fruits and nice toppings! A pure recommendation 👌🏼👌🏼 friendly service as well!
Hands down this is my favorite açaí spot. Oak Berry is a very famous Açai chain in Brazil with top notch quality - I would say it's the best I have ever tried. When I knew that there was a branch in Santa Barbara I had to try it out. Same quality as in Brazil - the best açaí option for sure. They serve the pure açaí, not blended with fruit like we usually find in other places. So you get more açaí for you buck. It's a very expensive açaí, but it's worth it.
Love this place every time. So the first time I heard of it was through a Yelp sponsored event, but I wasn't available to attend so I came a different time. It took several friends, individually mentioning how good it is, to make me finally go. It was bittersweet the first time I came because after tasting the açaí "bowl" I was hooked. The owner is a super sweet man and always friendly and welcoming. The menu is really straight-forward and easy to order from. He takes his time crafting a beautiful and delicious bowl. The prices are totally reasonable and the açaí bowl! Oh my gosh. It's really good. I was a backyard bowls fan ... I stopped going there once I started coming here. It's on point. Definitely recommend.
Very good bowl and berry smoothie
Great place for a tasty and healthy açaí bowl! They let you choose your toppings and make it look stunning. Nice terrace outside for you to enjoy.
Bought acai bowls. The best part about this place is you can add any toppings to make it the way you want. This is my favorite acai place because of the unlimited toppings. Truly allowing their customers to customize their orders the way they want.
Had such a tasty açaí bowl here! Server was friendly and I really liked how I could get unlimited toppings. I basically got all of them 🙈
Sooooo good! One of my most favorite places to get ACAI! I love how they don't just pile the toppings on top, they actually mix them in.

I went on a roadtrip and stopped in Santa Barbara for a few days and the service was quick and the food was delicious! I got the crunchy açaí bowl and modified it with whey protein! It was both yummy and pretty and the fruit was fresh! I really appreciate the ingredient lists and ability to alter the açaí bowls. The environment and music was also peaceful yet fun. The vines along the walls and the ceilings were also gorgeous! I have zero complaints!
Deliciously healthy alternatives to junky snack foods. Super food like açai is awesome and provides us with so much more energy. The one I got was like the perfect taste of bubble gum. Nice healing benefits for when you’re out of the loop. Such beautiful plants inside.
Twice visited. A kind gentleman prepared my Crunchy Bowl to perfection. So delish. Busy DT days, parking can b tight. Quality menu is worth the walk, if applicable. A fav when in town.
Great tasting, high quality acia bowls.
Came here because it was recommended by some Brazilians I was with at the time, and they were ecstatic to see a familiar sight because it's a chain in Brazil as well. I love Acai but they told me I hadn't had the real kind until I had Oakberry! Well, after that my expectations were a little high but they were certainly met! The acai is the perfect level of sweetness and while you do pay a bit more, it's worth it. The quality is there, plus the unlimited toppings are great -- I've never had peanut powder before until here and I'm sad I've missed out on it for so long! I also had them add sweetened condensed milk and that was incredible. I definitely will be going to the Los Angeles Oakberry locations now!
Great tasting, high quality acia bowls.
Amazing Acai bowls and the coffee smoothie was delicious!

We’ve been on an Acai bowl bender, recently, so we find new ones when we’re on the road. Stopped in at Oakberry and the Acai bowl was delicious. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was it was a little light on the fruit toppings and the dry whey powder layer was a little strange. The Acai, granola and cacao nibs were amazing! The fruit was fresh and great, just needed more. Overall, a great spot just off of State St.

My açaí bowl was mediocre. The açaí was very watery, it was practically a smoothie. However the staff was very friendly!

This is a difficult review to give. I think it would have been fabulous if the circumstances were different. We couldn't find parking. We parked .4 miles away. Had some difficulty finding the shop because Google Maps directed us to the wrong place. Our online order was bagged, kept in a cooler, and the sealed bag had some insulation. I was impressed by this. I asked if there were spoons and was told they were in the bag. We ordered two acai bowls. We walked the .4 miles back to the car and headed to the beach. My daughter's vacation dream included eating an acai bowl on the beach. We got to the beach and only had one spoon in the bag. So she ate hers, which had already melted quite a bit. Mine continued to melt as I waited to use her spoon when she was done. It was disappointing to not have two spoons. Mistakes happen. But since we were vacationing, new to the area, and didn't have spare cutlery we definitely did not get a good feel for what a freshly made acai bowl would taste like from Oakberry. Next time I will check the bag for spoons and insist we eat on-site.
The açaí bowl was good. But the service was terrible. There was one young lady behind the register. She was talking to someone on her cellphone, on speaker. She was too busy with that conversation to greet us or ask if we had any questions. The topic of her conversation was interesting (someone made out with someone else) but it was entirely inappropriate. She even jokingly cussed at the person she was on the call with, while making our order. She couldn’t care less about providing good service.
You expect people to tip you $2 to make a simple drink. You’re not moving even one foot . But you ask someone to go SHOPPING for you and THEN DELIVER to downtown and you tip them $2?

First time trying this place and I was really disappointed. I had ordered an açaí bowl and had requested to add protein powder to the bowl. When I received it, the protein hadn’t been mixed in at all, rather just layered into the bowl, with my 3 banana slices. When I asked about it, I was told they don’t usually add protein to bowls, followed by a very hollow stare, which makes no sense since it was an option on the menu. Instead of fixing it, I was basically told that’s just how it is. For the high price of this bowl (that’s actually a cup.. coming in at $16), I expected better service and overall a way better açaí bowl. Definitely not a great experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Reply 12/12: Thank you for responding. I understand that you call them “bowls,” but there actually aren’t any real bowls offered on the menu.. everything is served in cups. That’s fine, but it should be clearly communicated so expectations match what’s advertised. Regarding the protein, the menu lists it as an add-on with no indication that it wouldn’t be mixed in. Even if you consider protein mixing to fall under a “smoothie,” it’s not logical to simply dump a layer of dry protein into a cup and call it good. No reasonable customer would expect that. I also want to point out that the photos on your menu are misleading. My “bowl” had only three slices of banana, which is nothing like what your pictures show. If toppings are meant to be layered, they should actually be included in a reasonable amount. The issue wasn’t just the preparation — it was the lack of communication and the dismissive response when I asked about it. I’m leaving this feedback so future customers understand what they’re getting, and so the menu or process can be clarified moving forward.
