A very welcoming place. Upon our arrival, we were offered a welcome drink with a glass of wine and appetizers. The highly knowledgeable staff gave us excellent advice and accommodated our requests with excellence. The icing on the cake was that, while we were talking, we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, and without having to ask, they brought us the cake with a candle on top. We'll definitely be back.
My friends and I decided to try a wine tasting at Tenuta Casa Virginia. It was a wonderful discovery, a lovely tasting experience, expertly guided by the sommelier and the host. The wines produced by Casa Virginia were excellent, as was the accompanying platter. We'll definitely be back to try the full tasting experience with five glasses of wine!
A magical place made of genuine people. Continuous research, experimentation, and enthusiasm blend together on solid foundations, all of which is reflected in the wines. I could go on and on about the day I spent in the cellar with Antonio, Floriana, and their staff, but I'd rather tell you that it's absolutely worth a visit!
Introduction: This review reflects our wedding experience at Tenuta Casa Virginia. We arrived at Tenuta Virginia having already seen numerous venues, but none of them had truly impressed us. We went to see it even though it was quite far from our area (Monza/Como). As soon as we arrived in the parking lot, we were immediately impressed. It's a beautiful place, framed by vineyards. Inside, it's very well-kept, clean, and beautiful. All things that will impress you as soon as you visit. But what truly strikes you and warms your heart is the professionalism, helpfulness, and courtesy of the staff. You'll eat wonderfully, and that's already a great starting point. You'll drink excellent wine, because they make it. Your guests will be delighted. Our day was perfect; the Tenuta Virginia staff is expertly organized, down to the smallest detail. They're extremely available for anything; they'll accommodate you, but they'll also be able to advise you based on their experience. When we told people in the Bergamo area that we were getting married at Tenuta Virginia, everyone had a kind word to say, even if only from hearsay, if not firsthand experience. I'd like to give a special thank you to Floriana, who with infinite patience and kindness helped us finalize all the details of a beautiful day. The timing was perfect, and my only advice: when we tour the winery, perhaps it would be better to make it a little shorter.
A charming location, top-quality food plated like a work of art, fabulous wines, and extremely kind and helpful staff. We were there the first night for a couples dinner, a perfect choice, and today we returned for a family birthday. It will be our choice for any occasion because everything is perfect. Thanks to all the staff, you always make sure we fully enjoy our time with you with your professionalism.
We had lunch there for our wedding. The location is enchanting, as is the entire staff. The kindness and professionalism were top-notch. The food was excellent, spectacularly cooked by the chef, who exudes passion for his work. The wines and beers were produced on site. Highly recommended. See you soon
Superb experience at this restaurant We had Sunday lunch in the upper room, with excellent access to the elevator. The ample parking lot, with an attendant, was very quick. The location is enchanting from the very first glance, with the vineyards to the left and the entire estate in front. The furnishings and interiors are very, very beautiful, not to mention the lunch, with modest portions and exceptional quality and flavor. Shortly before the cake, we were invited to tour their wine cellar to discover their products with a quick tour offered by the owner. The magic continues in the evening too, when with the darkness of night, all the lights come on, creating a sublime atmosphere. We had a great time and I will definitely be back.
A wonderful location for events and ceremonies (in particular, I attended a baptism and a confirmation) surrounded by greenery with an enchanting view. The welcoming atmosphere creates a welcoming and magical atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful. The cuisine is excellent and unique, with unconventional combinations. Highly recommended!
Tenuta Casa Virginia is a stunning restaurant located in the heart of the Bergamo Hills. The restaurant is known for its delicious cuisine, which is made with fresh, local ingredients. The restaurant also has a large selection of wines, which are perfect for pairing with the food. You can find also the vegetarian menu, it's very extensive and varied. There is something for everyone, from classic Italian dishes to more modern creations
A stunning place surrounded by greenery not far from Milan. We ate very well and got the price right (especially considering Milanese prices). The staff is truly kind and helpful, and they do everything they can to please their guests. Upon arrival, they accompanied us to the cellar where they offered us an aperitif—a wonderful surprise—and then showed us to our table outside. A truly enjoyable evening, filled with good food and wine, surrounded by nature, in a well-kept yet authentic setting, where you can see the passion for their work and their customers. I can't wait to go back; I absolutely recommend it!
Great food in such a beautiful place.

There are places that welcome you in any weather, whether under a bright sun or a light rain, transforming the landscape into a melancholic and captivating scene. At Tenuta Casa Virginia, even bad weather becomes part of the setting, amplifying the elegant and relaxed atmosphere that permeates every corner of this place. From the entrance to the dining room, the journey is a journey through the history and culture of wine. Panels and paintings along the corridors narrate the profound connection between the land and the glass, while the elegance of the interior rooms makes every guest feel part of something special. The carefully chosen background music is never out of place: it accompanies without disturbing, almost like a soundtrack designed for the perfect lunch. The welcome is impeccable. The staff is exceptionally kind, present at the right time, ready to explain every detail of the dishes and wines. Here, nothing is left to chance, and the quality of the ingredients is evident from the first taste. The journey begins with La Campana Dorata, a sparkling wine that immediately strikes the perfect balance between freshness and vivacity, accompanied by Casa Virginia's salambù. A welcome that opens the stomach and mind to what's to come. The caramelized blond onion tarte tatin on a cream of Stracchino all'Antica and drops of balsamic vinegar is a perfectly balanced interplay of sweetness and acidity, amplified by the Drago di Santa Brigida 2020, a red from the Bergamo area that drinks with extreme elegance. The lightly seared venison rump with red fruit sauce and roasted Jerusalem artichoke is a dish that evokes both autumn and winter. The tender meat is balanced by the freshness of the red fruits and the earthy notes of the Jerusalem artichoke, while the Serpente con la Cresta 2021, a Shiraz from the Bergamo area, adds just the right amount of depth with its bold character. The duck-stuffed ravioli in mushroom broth with Chiapparini Grana Padano shavings are a delightful embrace on the plate. The warm broth envelops the pasta, the mushrooms lend complexity, and the cheese adds just the right kick. A dish that tastes like home, yet with a refinement that makes it memorable. Next comes the larded veal fillet medallion with potato and pumpkin millefeuille and sautéed cavolo nero. A dish that plays on textures, where the sweetness of the pumpkin meets the savory lard and the structure of the meat. The Violino "Essenza" 2018 rounds out the dish with its aromatic depth, making it the perfect companion. And then comes the grand finale: the lemon curd and burnt meringue tart on a cocoa fondant. All dusted with chili pepper, which adds depth and enhances the contrasts on the plate. Acidity, sweetness, bitterness, and spiciness coexist in perfect harmony, creating, one bite after another, the perfect finale to an already unforgettable lunch. All accompanied by the Before and After Elixir by Ton Leck, which adds a final aromatic touch before the coffee. It's still raining outside. But no one is in a hurry to leave. Because in places like this, time passes slowly. And every moment is worth living to the fullest.
A wonderful experience inside the winery. The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, with beautiful windows and surrounded by the vineyard. We were welcomed for a welcome aperitif directly in the cellar, with a sparkling wine produced on site. The setting is beautiful, simple yet formal. The staff is extremely courteous. We chose one of the monthly specials from the menu, paired with a wine. The rabbit won us over: soft, delicate, and enveloping. The gnocchi, on the other hand, seemed monotonous in flavor: the sweetness of each ingredient predominated, lacking any contrast. Therefore, the dish was boring and cloying. I struggled to finish it. The venison was superb. Cooked perfectly rare, with a bold flavor. The only downside, unfortunately, was that the meat was cold, probably due to the meat not having been properly acclimated before cooking. There's still a long way to go for the desserts. The various innovative options didn't win us over; in fact, they bored me. Even with one of these desserts, we had a temperature issue: it was cold and unpleasant. Burning the sugar isn't enough to heat up the entire dish. And if you choose to serve it cold... well, then it's definitely not very pleasant. Overall, the restaurant is beautiful. Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, and the hostess and her courtesy add value to the whole experience.
Location chosen by friends for their wedding Excellent and always prompt service (too prompt 😅) Home-produced wines to try! Really good food... quality ingredients. Among vineyards and aromatic plants... it's not very big, but they're well organized. And in the evening, sitting under the portico is pleasant. Ample parking. A lovely discovery... we'll return and try the restaurant's menu.
A little disapointed in the customer service here. I've reached out to this venue many times to schedule a time to preview the location for our upcoming wedding and have yet to receive a response. I called today and asked if someone could help me in English and I was hung up on right away. Very rude.
