Comer aquí es toda una experiencia porque es en el interior de una cueva. Además, la comida está muy bien.
De mis sitios preferidos; pues el trato, la comida, el ambiente,... es simplemente de 10. Es una bodega típica con muchísimo encanto, una cueva que te sorprende con los detalles de cada rincón, con una carta que pidas lo que pidas siempre será acierto y con una atención inmejorable. Gracias a la dedicación y amabilidad de Santi y Carmen, y todo su Gran Equipo, porque cada vez que vamos nos hacen sentir como en casa. Recomendado para los de cerca y también los de lejos, pues sin duda merece la pena conocerlo.
He estado bastantes veces en este restaurante y la relación calidad precio es estupenda. Los platos tienen un tamaño ideal para no quedarse con hambre, bien cocinados, cocina castellana de calidad y casera. Imprescindible la tortilla guisada en este sitio! Buen trato en un local (una bodega excavada a lo largo de generaciones con pico) encantador, ajeno al paso del tiempo. Una experiencia totalmente recomendable!
Habíamos venido hacía 10 años y quedó en nuestra memoria al pasar de nuevo por la zona. Se trata de una “bodega”, una cueva que está adaptada como restaurante lo que le aporta un ambiente especial (hacía 40 grados fuera y entramos con chaquetas). Comida típica zamorana con entrantes y carnes de buena calidad. Nos decidimos por la parrillada de carne y no fallamos. Servicio rápido y atento. Muy buena relación calidad-precio. Si tenéis ocasión, no dejéis de conocerla.

Una bodega impresionante,que guarda todos sus encantos con luces calidas y decorada con máquinas ancestrales. La atención inmejorable,nos han abierto todas las puertas para que la conociéramos entera,cuenta también con una amplia terraza. La comida está bien y el precio es razonable, volveremos sin duda.
Fuimos a la aventura. Estaba completo y nos hizo una reserva, agradecidos. Entramos para tomar un vermut y el aperitivo que fue una paella excelente con sabor a marisco , la verdad que muy bien. La bodega, el personal muy atento, amable y correcto no te agobia. La comida que pedimos perfecta. Repetiremos seguro.
A great option for a lunch break on the A-6! A unique restaurant located inside a cave. The service is excellent, and the food is generally good, especially the grilled meats. The Spanish omelet in sauce is highly recommended as a starter, as are the oxtail croquettes.

It's a highly recommended place, very unique in its decor yet cozy. We received phenomenal service, and Alejandro made perfect recommendations for enjoying the restaurant's specialties. We recommend the beef entrecote, the pork cheeks, and the mushrooms—they were delicious—and the condensed milk mousse for dessert. The price-performance ratio is perfect. We will definitely return.
Be prepared for enchantment here, in a rustic traditional bar & restaurant set deep within the earth, like the hobbits house. Delicious food, friendly staff and a completely unique atmosphere. We came across Bodega La Gruta completely by chance during our road trip and so glad we did.
Just a little over two kilometers off the A6, we have this obligatory stop on the national highway for lunch in an old wine cellar. The service is very attentive, the food is very, very good, and we have a daily menu for 14 euros, and we decided to try their grilled meats. In my opinion, the sirloin steak was a bit underpriced, but it had a real grilled meat flavor, and the ribs were as if they were smoked, cooked through and not overcooked. It was truly a magnificent experience.

We chose La Gruta as a stop on our way from Galicia to Valladolid, and we couldn't have been more right. Not only did we eat very well—everything was delicious—but the service was extraordinary, warm, friendly, and very attentive at all times. The place itself is a gem. It's worth a visit, even if it's just to have a glass of wine and enjoy the atmosphere. We weren't familiar with the town, and we found it cartoonish and charming, one of those corners that surprises you unexpectedly. A stop that became one of the highlights of the trip. Highly recommended!
On our way to Galicia, we happened upon Bodega La Gruta while searching on Google, and it was a real hit! The highlight is the place, which is a 300-year-old cave (according to what we were told), very beautiful and well-maintained! Typical Castilian food, served from the set menu or à la carte! The waiters are super friendly and attentive throughout! A great choice and highly recommended.

This Saturday, May 3rd, my husband, my children, and I went for dinner, and I have to say it was just like when I used to go with my parents. The food, service, and atmosphere were spectacular. Thank you for the evening.
A very special restaurant, located inside an underground cellar and beautifully landscaped. The food is exceptional, as is the service. The plates are usually large. We ordered a portion of omelet and they brought us a whole one, grilled meat, mushrooms with Roquefort sauce, a charcuterie board... We'll be back.
The place is exceptional. A cave winery, typical of the area. The owner and staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is very good and plentiful. And the prices are on the slightly expensive side (in Madrid it would be the opposite, cheap). I've been several times and have always left happy. They've never disappointed me. Highly recommended. Special mentions include the black pudding from León and the mushrooms La Gruta style. And for the main course, the ribeye steak. The cheesecake is excellent. Plus coffees, house wine, and complimentary shots. All for less than €35 per person.

Local con mucho encanto, típica cueva Zamorana, con sus aperos formando parte de la decoración. Pedimos menú del día por 12€ y estaba muy bueno. Quedamos con ganas de volver y comer de carta.
The grotto is very comfortable. The temperature is pleasant, and the staff is very friendly. We ordered grilled mushrooms (the best I've ever eaten), León black pudding (very finely chopped, spreadable, but delicious), bravas (which we didn't like, as they were sliced, smothered, and had too much sauce), and cod cheeks (which weren't bad). For dessert, a condensed milk mousse with Galician sauce was quite good, although it tasted mostly like cream and had little Galician flavor. We saw some very interesting dishes that we'll try if we're back here. If you go, order the mushrooms and the black pudding (it's a bit spicy) and try something different!
It wasn't the first time I went, but it had been a long time since I had done so and I felt like going and I don't regret it. They told me that pets are allowed, although our little dog 🐕🐕🐕🐕🐕 is very small and doesn't usually bother anyone. The meats and everything were excellent. The waitress who served us was very nice and she was Romanian and she took very good care of us in everything and was always attentive. Thank you very much LA GRUTA for your charm!!!
Expectacular
Although they didn’t have everything in the menu (neither mushrooms nor parrillada de marisco in our case), we enjoyed the meal. The place is very nice, not noisy because the tables are distributed among tunnels of a bodega.
This place was really something new for us. The buildings in this village are called Bodegas and are like caves crafted in clay. The restaurant is really special but to be honest they service is somewhat unprofessional and wasn't in the mood to entertain us with insight information about the origin of the building. The food was bad. Except for the asperges and the tortilla de patatas and the patatas bravas, they were a bit tasteless. The 'croquetas al Rabo de toro', the morcilla and the wine were great. All in all not a bad place, but they could improve their services.
Completely dispensable. Not worth the extra mile to experience it. Cheap food because, frankly, it's not worth more than it costs. The service was pathetic; the waiter was an amateur, showing no interest in the customer... Won't return...
