Un luogo speciale, accogliente e molto carino. Immerso nel bosco, in quota, non facile da raggiungere con l'auto d'inverno con neve o ghiaccio nell'ultimo tratto di strada .meglio avete un 4x4. Ma si può chiedere di farsi prelevare più a valle... dove la strada è ancora percorribile normalmente. Gentili e cordiali servizio ottimo I piatti sono veramente buoni e sostanziosi. Consiglio di prenotare . Magico le notte d'inverno...con il cielo sgombro.

My expedition companions and I only used the winter shelter as a bivouac; in December, in the dead of winter and with 40 cm of snow, it's already too much. Obviously, the managed shelter was closed, but for hikers like us, the winter shelter is perfect. The location is enchanting.

We stayed at this refuge to celebrate New Year's Eve and had a truly wonderful time! The food was plentiful and delicious, but the highlight was Simona and Daniele, who made us feel like family! We'll definitely be back!

Surrounded by greenery, just a stone's throw from the frozen waterfalls (in winter, of course), we were greeted by Simona and her smiling and friendly staff. The quality of the dishes was excellent (abundant and flavorful) at a great price. Their fig and Nebiolo ice cream is a MUST-try; a feast for the taste buds. Special mention goes to Simona, who patiently accommodated us (there were 32 of us). Special guest Noa, Simona's nephew, entertained us at the end of the meal by dancing "The Crocodile, How Does It?" surrounded by our daughters.

A beautiful place where you feel welcomed, satisfied, and fulfilled!!! They welcome you with a warm smile that stays with you throughout the entire experience. Everything was excellent: the service, the quality and quantity of the food (what HUGE pieces of cheese!), and the bill. Plus, it's located in a very interesting location for excursions of various levels. Well done!

We stopped by for an aperitif, and the owners were really friendly. The Pirlo was delicious, along with excellent appetizers. The prices were reasonable, even below average. Highly recommended.

The refuge is easy to reach, with ample parking or a short walk along the paved road that leads to the foot of the climb to Lake Aviolo. The service is young, fast, and friendly. The dishes are top-notch; I recommend the refuge's signature dish: polenta, stew, venison, and mushrooms, all delicious! The desserts are also delicious, and the price is reasonable considering the location, the dishes are tasty and plentiful!

Excellent refuge, very friendly and helpful staff. A great starting point for visiting Lake Aviolo. Unfortunately, we weren't able to stop for a bite to eat, but the aromas wafting from the kitchen were very inviting. Plus: they use eco-friendly glasses and recyclable materials. Super!

Location stupenda... Menù di ferragosto molto buono ! Unica pecca troppe persone a pranzo e quindi tempi biblici tra una portata e l'altra! Da riprovare sicuramente in una giornata "normale"

The atmosphere was welcoming and pleasant, the staff helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, since we didn't have a reservation, they went out of their way to accommodate us. The food and desserts were good, and the portions were sufficient to leave feeling energized for another trek.
