We ordered off the app, utilizing a 25% discount for orders over $20, bringing it to a reasonable price. Pick up stix has lost its fastball over the last few years, but it's still a nice alternative every once in a while.

I enjoyed this food very much! There drunkun noodles were better than most Thai restaurants charging way more. I wish we had them in Burbank!

Probably a 3.5 to be fair. We ordered online, and our food was ready as expected. The sweet and sour chicken was good, as was the fried rice and chow mein noodles. Disappointed in the beef and broccoli. The meat was tough. Egg rolls were also good. Portion sizes were okay. Cost nearly $30 for a takeout dinner for two. Big TV with college hoops on, and a nice but small outdoor seating area. We'd go back, but we'd pass on the beef and broccoli.

The cashier didn't acknowledge me when I walked in, so I walked up to the counter and asserted myself. She took my order, no smile, completely transactional, and no thanks.... I received my order quickly, which was nice. I ordered the house special chicken, spicy, with extra sauce, brown rice, and a side of mixed veggies. I unfortunately did not receive the extra sauce I requested. The veggies were extremely bland and did not taste fresh to me. Maybe a one-time fluke. I will come back again, as I had a good experience in the past, just not this visit.

Unfortunately, the 2 experiences were sadly very different. We ordered the same as in LAX yet received 90% Carrots versus chicken; After removing ALL the carrots, the box was pretty much EMPTY! We were highly disappointed 😢😡

2 yrs ago at the LAX airport we stumbled on Pick Up Stix and the food was OUTSTANDING! This time visiting Carlsbad from GA, we found there was 1 in town and was SUPER EXCITED. Unfortunately, the 2 experiences were sadly very different. We ordered the same as in LAX yet received 90% Carrots versus chicken; After removing ALL the carrots, the box was pretty much EMPTY! We were highly disappointed 😢😡

Hadn’t eaten here in a few years, but I am pregnant and the chow mein sounded really good. They were understaffed, but all of the employees we dealt with were pleasant and doing their best. They communicated there would be a slight delay which was fine. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Unfortunately- the food was very disappointing. We got 3 dishes and it was around $42 and much of it was inedible and tasted strongly of plastic and chemicals (of course the honey shrimp with chow mein) was completely drenched in the chemical substance. To describe the flavor would be if you were to attempt to eat noodles that had been cooked and melted in a plastic container and then topped with a sludge soupy cleaning solution so much that it was dripping out of the edges of the bowl completely masking any other flavor or texture. We ordered a salad and the mandarin oranges were sour and very fermented so we picked those out and it was somewhat edible after that. Overall I am sad to have lost $42 worth of food that most of which ended up in the trash.

Asked for extra sauce and caramelized sauce. Didn't happen. Got large chunks of rubbery chicken and rice. What? Where's my container of just chicken? You gave me a scoop of sub par chicken and a bunch of rice. Somehow the spring rolls were over cooked on one side and way under on the other.

Stay far away from this place, the manager is rude and ignorant and lacks any kind of customer service. I ordered Fire Cracker Tofu because we are strict vegetarians and when we got home it was chicken. I called the store and told the manager about the mistake, he kept insisting that I ordered chicken when I didn’t, he continued to argue with me and insisted I bring it back. I told him I lived on the other side of Carlsbad so I asked him if he could give me a refund, he insisted I bring it back and then he would, I said I can’t because I’m handicapped. Now this he didn’t care about, he just wanted me back in the store to return the food so he could give it to someone else. He said, “well I can check the cameras.” I said go ahead and check them, he said, “I can’t now but I will tomorrow.” I asked to speak to the manager, he said “I am the manager.” Wow I can’t believe a business would treat a customer this way for $23!!! I asked his name and he hung up on me! Tomorrow I am calling the corporate office and report him. It’s very sad because I really like their Fire Cracker Tofu, you couldn’t pay me to do any kind of business with this guy. The company needs to give customer service training. 2/9th update I finally received a call from his regional director, she was applauded by the managers treatment. She stated that they would reimburse my money (which they did) and also send me a couple of coupons for free meals. She said if I download their app she would send them to me via the app, this never happened.

It was so disgusting the nastiest food I ever ate I couldn't finish eating it 15$ wasted...the orange chicken was heavily breaded and mushy the noodles taste like a lot of teriyaki sauce YUCK!🤮 wish I would've ate at panda express instead.
