Tell you hwhat!!! This place is the place to go. Every dish is top tier. Desserts are top notch as well🔥
We're new to this place, so when we found the website we were offered a 20% discount for joining the text club. Great! So I'd initially placed a to go order online, but realized at checkout it was for the downtown location, which is the only one set up to receive online orders right now. So I went inside, spoke with the friendly and knowledgeable staff who heard me out about my dilemma. They took my order and applied the 20% off. Now we're friends! We had Ribeye, beef, and philly cheese gyros with feta fries. And for dessert, mocha chocolate cake and coconut chocolate cake. All was delicious and will be returning soon.
Ordered online upon a recommendation from a friend. Submitted it and received a coupon for opting into text message club, which was nice. Got there and food was ready as text notification indicated. My only critique was that the lamb in my gyro was shredded meat rather than slices which I’m accustomed to. That and they’re pretty finicky about their tzatziki sauce - have to pay $1.00 for extra but they’ll give you all the ketchup packets without asking for it. Overall, 5 stars as the place was cozy and food tasted great. As @shophocho7798 would say this place is justified!!!
I absolutely love this place. Some of the best food in waco, and reasonable priced too!! My husband is arab, and he didn’t like it as much, he thinks they mix the chicken and the lamb in the cooking process (perhaps same cutting board or grill) so the chicken has a lamb after-taste, but I always get the ribeye gyro and its always delicious!
First time to eat here. Went early...about 4pm. Food was delicious. Ordered Ribeye gyro, pork gyro, greek fries, trio spread sampler (hummus, tzatziki, baba ganoush), and baklava cheesecake. I liked the pork gyro best. The Ribeye has a mushroom sauce and grilled onions. The baklava was very good and rich, plenty for two to share.
The first Mediterranean place we went to was actually closed and thank God it was. Alpha Omega was amazing. We got a veggie gyro and chickpea gyro with some olive spread on the side. The pita was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend for anyone. My wife is vegan so we usually track down the Mediterranean spots and this is one of the best. The vibes inside are also fantastic and grabbed a bottle of olive oil also.
Alpha Omega is my favorite place to grab a delicious meal. Today I stopped in and discovered something new, a Ribeye Special. If you have not tried this you must, it is Steak and Frites wrapped in a Gyro. Perfect to keep you moving and stay energized for the remaining days duties. I added the Shrimp Gyro as well for a bit of surf and turf, or mar y tierra, a perfect complement for the above mentioned to go that extra mile. The staff at Alpha Omega is always professional and on point, present every day delivering exceptional service, and always going above and beyond. Good job, Team Alpha Omega.
I love this restaurant. Really good food and I really like their hummus and pita. Fresh food and efficient service. Great atmosphere and outdoor seating options too.
Got the beef souvlaki, lamb gyro, and spread sampler. The beef was fantastic. Very tender with lots of flavor. Gyro was very good. Had sliced meat that was tender ( many places use ground meat). The spread sampler came with lots of bread. The bread is wonderful. Not exactly a pita or a naan, but still tasted wonderful. It works great for gyro and dips or spreads. The tzatziki tastes great. Definitely order extra with anything you order. The humus was really good. The olive spread was nothing special. Not bad but nothing compared to the tzatziki. Tables, utensils, and floor are clean. Got dessert, very very good. Will definitely be coming back.
Absolutely the most amazing Greek food I've had to date. The chicken thighs were literally the best I've ever had. The rice, the way it was cooked, amazing, the veggies....fresh. the staff... Fast and awesome, the restaurant....clean, relaxing and perfect decor. We will be back and will be regulars for sure!!! Constant guests here and they never disappoint. Still love it and it's still the best!
It’s about an hour round trip for my husband and I to “go to town” to pick up dinner so the food has to worth it. This place never misses the mark. Great every time
The food especially the beef was amazing. So flavorful and tender. In fact all the items were packed with Mediterranean flavor. So good. Friendly people. Casual atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. And the “specials” made it easy to pick something terrific - I’m not great assembling from a la cart but you can do that too. Overall great dining experience.
We got 5 menu items, everything was delicious, the beef gyro was sooo good 👍 definitely eating there again soon!
Went for the Valentine's day dinner, and it was amazing!!! Worth every penny. Food was impressive and tasty. Ambiance was nice and cozy, but still felt elevated. Not sure what is typically on the menu but our Valentine's dinner was impeccable!! Some of the best food I've ever eaten, hands down. Will definitely visit again. Cannot say enough good things about this spot. Awesome food and cute place!
Large place, lots of seating. Excellent customer service, prompt, informative and polite. Food was delicious with equal portion sizes to price point. They serve coffee as well as a variety of Mediterranean food choices. Walk-in order was completed and made within 20 mins. Flavors are good, the only complaint is that the baklava was a little burnt, did not make it dry or ruin the flavors. For it being a bakery, I would have loved a little more baked options. *Note to the menu, I would have personally preferred long sliced onions in the gyro instead of chopped small.
I’ve been going here for years, even had their food at my wedding, and had a family members bday party here. Didn’t realize I’d never put in a review! The food here is hands down the best Greek food I’ve had anywhere in the country. They have always been consistent and, for the times, their prices have stayed pretty reasonable especially for real, fresh food. The atmosphere is so comfortable and has character and charm. They have such good food from gyros to meats to deserts. The service is good and you always get that family-owned business feel. I highly recommend this place. It’s a must.
This is the best Greek Food in town. The service is fast and the staff and owners are very friendly. I highly recommend the Feta Phyllo Roll; a delicious, fried appetizer that is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. There is a great selection of gyros wrapped in warm and fluffy pita bread. There are also plenty of vegetarian options if preffered. Don't pass up the desserts, which are all affectionately made in house. This is a great place to eat lunch or dinner while enjoying the hustle and bustle of Downtown Waco.
Oh my goodness the food is delicious, it was so hard to stop and take pictures of it!!! First time ever being here and it has been so long since I had a good Mediterranean meal made. The atmosphere is so beautiful and very welcoming. The art work, BEAUTIFUL!!! 1000% recommend this place.
Cool old building. Great food! Friendly staff. Lots of food for the price. It will be a good to from now on.
Just incredible food, very friendly and perfect service. Lavash was incredible. Gyros all the way for next visit. Very playful and casual atmosphere with great charm. I cannot wait to come back. One of the fist places in Texas where I got Lavazza expression and it didn’t tasted like twice burned ashes.
This place here. My first encounter w this joint I went on a date here by happenstance and 2 years later we are engaged to be married lol! I said there is garlic and onion no kissing tonight and now we are engaged thanks!! Hahahaha. We went again yesterday and this place has not lost its touch. The beef and chicken gyro are wonderful, the homemade pita is off the chain and that tzatziki sauce is great..we also had the tiramisu and it was made just right and not too rich in flavor. The value for your food is wonderful. Every time we are in town we will try and make our way to eat here!
You know the food is good when there’s total silence at the table! Everything was excellent. Chicken breast was cooked to perfection. Juicy and not dry at all, lots of flavor. I personally like a more traditional Greek salad and the dressing was a little sweet for me but that’s just personal preference. Would stop here again!
Great recommendation from my Airbnb led me to Alpha Omega and I am glad I tried it out. At first I looked online at the menu and wished it showed more plates not just gyros. Thought I would give it a try anyways and was pleasantly surprised to find they do have plates, platters as they call them. I enjoyed my meal and the flavors. I had the Souvlaki Platter Beef Tenderloin, Zucchini Balls and to finish Oreo. Great food at a price expected for a platter of meat and grilled veggies served over rice with a side salad and a side of pita bread. Would recommended to those looking to try Mediterranean food.
The pita was amazing! I had the chickpea gyro and husband had the shrimp gyro. Side of Greek feta fries was absolutely delicious.
Cashier lady is always incredible and the cooks are fantastic. We know if that team is in, it’s gonna be e a superb night! I got a slice of cake tonight, spiced rum (at cashiers advice since I couldn’t choose), and it was delightful.
Oh dear. The lamb gyro was so good I genuinely didn't realize I failed to remove all the paper. The meat and sauce ratio was perfect and I loved the freshness of the onion and tomato
Best place to eat in CTX. Always clean with fast service, food is ridiculously good and pretty healthy. Why spend $15 for junk when you can pay a extra $5 for something that won't make you feel like crap. Fr try this place at least once, you won't regret it.
Enjoy this order at bar restaurant. Employees are kind and Food is worth returning for. $12 to $20 per person. There are some cheaper option of planning or splitting.
The serving size is incredible! My gyro & fries were 2 meals worth. The bread was super fresh and everything was so delicious! I look forward to taking friend there when they come in town!!
Pros: large portions, highly affordable, delicious savory and sweet food, lots of seating, large menu selections, cool building Cons: not much parking Great prices, delicious food! Best Greek I've ever had! Even to this day! Everything on the menu is delicious, and I mean EVERYTHING (why yes, I HAVE tried it all). Definitely try the desserts as they rotate their selection almost every time.
A truly exceptional dining experience! Every dish was a masterpiece of flavor and presentation, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that shone through in every bite. The lady at the register was a fill-in, normaly not in front, but she was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive, making sure every question was answered, with no rushed feeling. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and we left feeling completely satisfied - this is definitely a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable culinary journey!
I was surprised by the excellent, well, everything here. If you are looking for that authentic Greek food in Waco, this is your spot. Portions are generous. The hard part is deciding on what to pick. The open kitchen has such wonderful aromas filling the place. Staff is helpful and very knowledgeable with great suggestions on what to try.
My family brought me here as a "local flavor" treat. When I go out of town I like to find places native to the area only. I don't like chain restaurants. I want a personal, unique speciality experience. This little restaurant definitely delivered! Loved the exposed brick and industrial feel. The food was great! The staff was helpful and nice. I would definitely eat here again! Would love to go back for dessert!
Best place for a healthy Greek lunch, the salad is amazing! I crave this salad often.

Come here occasionally for a gyro. good food and usually comes out pretty quick. you get a lot of good and at a good quality for a pretty cheap price.
this place is so good and reasonably priced! you genuinly can't go wrong but I recommend any gyro or the lemon orzo soup!
The homemade pita bread is out of this world delicious! The gyro is stuffed full of tasty shaved pork or meat of choice. The sauce yumm. You have to try it!
It was so good!! Beef was nice and tender and I love the fries . They were a great pair and a well worth stop.

Was recommended to visit here by many locals and had an amazing experience. So many choices and great ambience inside. Food was made fresh, coffee superb and dessert... can't say enough about it. …
Ambience was okay. A bit dim for my taste. The gyro was okay. The meat was a bit dry and hard to chew. The Greek Feta Fries were amazing. It's hard to find at that time of night. Update: I was just there for lunch. Had the same thing I had before. It was wonderful. Fast and delicious. I should go there for take-out from time to time.
Had lunch here for the first time. Waco needs a good Greek restaurant. AOG&B might just fill the bill. Although I would have liked the "classic" gyro meat, the beef was still good. The pita itself was excellent. And, I got this little gem from the bakery display case. It might be what heaven would taste like! I'll be going back again... often.
Ordered the chicken gyro good portion, freshly made and well worth it. You order your food at the counter and pick-up, its not full service restaurants.
Alpha Omega has some fantastic options. I would highly recommend enjoying the lamb gyro. While the chicken and beef are safe options, the shrimp, on the other hand, is always a hit or miss for me. It often comes out a little fishy, which is a shame because the butter sauce they cook it in is quite tasty. On the upside, the fries are long and fat, and seasoned with classy herbs and spices. And if you don't mind paying twice the price of your fries, upgrade to the Greek feta option. Most people walk away feeling it was worth it. Lastly there are many other options besides gyros. You can get grilled chicken and veggies, a Greek salad, and even some tasty-looking dessert items. This time I ordered one of the specials for the day, the ribeye gyro. I really enjoyed the meal and hope they continue to offer this on their menu. If you're looking for 'real' Greek food, this place is definitely not as authentic as D's Mediterranean. If D's is like a good foreign film, Alpha is like the Last Samurai, or some other movie you question why everyone speaks English but really don't care because you're enjoying the movie. The interior is dimly lit at night; a prime Waco date night spot. In the day time, however, the 'question mark' decor sticks out like eyesores (which, I've just realized, this is kind of a gross description for a restaurant, but it's too late). There are random paintings on the wall. For example, behind us while we ate our Greek food, a wild bear was busy catching a salmon in the Colorado River. And with that here is the verdict: Food: 4.5/5 Presentation: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Vibes: 3/5 PRO TIP: A friend told me, if ordering a gyro, it's better to ask for the sauce on the side. They hand you an entire cup to use for dipping instead of the little dollop inside the peta.
I wanted to give this place 5 stars - it has high ratings on Google and Trip Advisor, and the building architecture is done well - I’m not sure what the building used to be - I’m just passing through. I honestly would have given it 3-1/2 stars if I could, but it may just be the day and time that I came. I visited mid afternoon between 2 and 3 on a Monday, so it was slow, but the staff kind of seemed bored too. Not sure, maybe lunch was busy and they were tired. The food: The lamb gyro didn’t look anything like any lamb gyro I’d had - I thought they accidentally served me a pork brisket gyro. I went to ask and they confirmed it was lamb, without any additional comment...nothing to assure me it would be good. Nobody followed up to ask how it was. It was dry, very dry in fact. I was surprised - I’m used to gyros being very moist, good portion of tzatziki and other veggies. Instead the tzatziki was there, but subtle and the meat was just dry like it had been waiting too long on the grill for someone to finally order the lamb. Fries were decent. If I come back I might try another meat because the lamb didn’t even taste like lamb to me and I don’t like it all shredded up like pulled brisket.
The food was decent for the price point. The feta fries were delicious, however the lamb gyros were flavorless outside of the lamb tasting really gamey. The cashier was also a little indifferent and could definitely work on the customer service. Overall, the ambience is nice and the food decent. I'd recommend coming here for the fries alone.
Good selection of entrees. I had the chicken souvlaki, which was great. Good salad, rice, and tzatziki. Served w a healthy amount of pita. Nice ambience...booths in a quiet area that is softly lit. Order at the counter, pick up food on a tray when ready. Drinks from fountain drink dispenser. Clean restrooms. Staff was proficient, but not very friendly.
Food here was delicious, but pricey! Seems like a lot of Mediterranean restaurants are opening in Waco. Alpha and Omega fits in downtown as it's more rustic, fancier and froufrou. Hummus was crazy expensive for the small amount and the rest of the food was half onions but it tasted great. Worth a try!
Went to Waco Tx. just to try this restaurant. The cashier (paid for food up front) was not knowledgable about the menu. She was however VERY nice, polite and professional. Remember not everyone likes this kind of food but, we all need money and a job. Not kicking her due to the lack of knowledge. We did a collage of food to figure out what we liked. The cook ROCKED IT! Food was presented beautifully. The the grill closed 15 minutes early, too bad for us we wanted more to take home. So, remember order it as soon as you know for sure what you like if close to closing on rainy nights. Restrooms were clean. Another HUGE plus they sale beautiful local artists painting, photos, t shirts, wine, coffee whole bean and more. Heck ya parking was awesome. The tables , floors, kitchen (you can watch the cook your meals it open faced) looked really clean. Bus people were quick to deliver and clean. So heck ya go here we are going again, not so close to closing next. time........lol Maps got us there and home in a great way we took hwy in & backroads home not a issue one.
My daughter is into Mediterranean food so she insisted. Me not so much so I played it safe with a beef gyro. First impression from the outside was not great. Place seemed vacant then I saw a couple of tables that hadn't been cleaned up. I went inside and it picked up. Nice atmosphere. Easy to order. Thay called my name within 10 min. Good service. Gyro was nice. My daughter loved her food. I think she has a favorite place now.
The food, mostly was good as usual. However the celery for one order was limp and almost slimy like it had been heated up and the tzatziki I ordered for my gyro was not on the gyro. The gyro tasted fine but was dry and not as good as it would have been with the tzatziki. The hummus was excellent as usual.
Was in the waco area for a conference and tried this place on a whim and very much enjoyed it. I had a variety off apps (humus, dolmas, and spanokopita). I was very pleasantly surprised. The dolmas were well balanced, spiced well, and firm. The humus had a great taste and the pita was fresh and very fluffy, it was not thin pita. The spanikopita was fresh and made recently but was very not traditional, I would get again though. Pleasant place and nice atmosphere, I was there for lunch and it was fairly full.
I went here for the first time accompanied by someone that has experience with the food. For other first timers: you go in and order at a counter, they'll give you your cups and then you pick a table and they'll call your name when your food is ready. They have the menu on the wall but also hand held sheets so you can stand to the side and make up your mind. The food was good, the men making the plates were friendly and you get plenty for your money (I ate twice from my portion). Our only small issue was that the lady that took our order didn't want the experienced person to order lamb. Maybe they were out or running low, but he gave his order and she kept repeating a version of: pork is our traditional meat, pork is the traditional order, etc , and by the third time she said it, he gave in and ordered the pork, then during the meal he said that having had them both now, he should have insisted on the lamb. It won't keep us from returning, it was just a little odd.
The restaurant has a small bakery cafe feel. It not usually super busy so you can easily find a spot to sit with no wait. You order at the counter and they call your name when your food is ready. The stove was great. They’re really friendly and knowledgeable. The food here is fantastic. They gyros are pretty big so keep that in mind.
We went for dinner and shared a beef shawarma plate. The dinner came with rice, a Greek salad and pita bread. We also shared the babaganoush. Everything was delicious. The pita bread was five…
I love greek food but I will have to say i wasn't too impressed. I ordered calamari, shrimp wrap, and some olive spread. And it was ready in 5 minutes. Not that fast service is bad but I felt it was slapped together and the seasoning on the calamari was very salty. It was close to close like 30mins before so maybe they were ready to get out I felt the shrimp was over cooked in some pieces and I guess the best part was the olive spread little disappointed to be honest. Ill have to come back another time and see if that was a one off experience.
This place has potential, but today was a bust. Maybe it was an off day for them. They didn't have anyone that knew how to make coffee or any coffee drinks. They didn't have heavy cream or whipped cream for the Frappe drinks. They didn't have this or that or had to ask if this or that could be made. It was sad and disheartening because it looks like a great place with so much potential. The little Greek salad I got was tasty and the Baklava was Spot On Perfect! I got an extra one to go. Maybe if we venture back to Waco, maybe we will go back. I'm so sad. I love Mediterranean food so much and this was a disappointing day.
Service and atmosphere were great. I think the food quality depends on what you order. Some of our food choices were really good, while others were not so good, and others were downright bad.
Great atmosphere, OK food, confusing menu. I got some chicken dish (don't remember exactly what) that was ok, but a tad sour. The pita bread, however, was phenomenal. I am only giving three stars because their menu is confusing, so I may accidentally end up ordering the same dish if I go again. The menu on the website lines up with the one on the chalkboard, but there is a whole other menu on paper that isn't listed online. Maybe I'm just ignorant/forgetful but I was very confused.
Greek restaurant in a brick building with internal brick walls and high ceilings. Very casual setting. You order and pick you food up at the counter. Seating is open without a host. Seating is booths with some tables. Food is okay. The place is more a lunch establishment than dinner.
My husband and I visited this restaurant on Thursday; it was our first time dining at this establishment. The prices are incredibly low for the portions, location and cuisine. We loved the friendliness of all the staff, the option to eat outdoors, large bathrooms, extremely clean inside and outside and the variety of food. I was extremely disappointed with the fried cheese balls; although the portion and price were spectacular the cheese was practically non-existent.
We ate lunch at the Franklin location today. Our food was overcooked/burnt and we ordered three different food items. The benches outside are awkward to sit on. Their version of iced tea is an abomination to everything Texas! This was Alpha and Omega's last chance to get it right. It was a fail, again. You could smell burnt food in the air. Not returning.
Atmosphere looks good and clean, so I thought. The clean spoons still had dirty food on them, I didn't even want to eat my food after that. The soup i order had too much vinegar or acidity, I only ate one spoonful. The gyro sandwich was OK, but the pita bread here is like a loaf, its way to big and thick. I wish the sandwiches had some other veggie than onions and meat. I wouldn't return. Its a Saturday night and this place has been empty from 6-8p. That says alit about what people think about this place. But go try it for yourself.
I've been getting food here less and less. It's a good place to eat and the atmosphere is cool, but the customer service and follow through with the food lacks. There is always something missing or not right. This time it was the pita bread. Completely raw. Pictured. I couldn't eat it because it wasn't cooked.
Our first time visiting this restaurant. It's a little busy at lunch time for me 🫤 but plenty of tables. A little dark in the restaurant for a meal at lunch for me. We mentioned that it's our first visit here. We needed time to look at the wall menu. We felt rushed to order. One more restaurant that you have to give a tip at the time you're paying at the register. You have to give your name to pick up your food and clean up yourself 🫤(So why a tip). Our name was wrong on our receipt 😞. Our food came to the counter in 10 mins. So, I didn't think it was cooked that quickly. Maybe our food was warmed up. It was a large order for four members of my family. Looking at my photos posted, the food looked good. It tasted dry and salty🫤 tomatoes on my son plate weren't fresh. We did notice that a local business owner had their food delivered to their table. But yet everyone else picked up their own plates at the counter. Only my family our experience. 👍⭐⭐⭐
Pita was amazing when warm. Quantity wise the gyros are worth the price, but they lack seasoning. Fries are soggy, but have a good taste profile. Service was quick. ambiance is fine.

Loved the atmosphere. Great old building. Art from local artist hung on the walls and was for sale. Music was fitting for the atmosphere. The pricing was high for a self service eatery. This place has walk up ordering, where you order, pay, and tip before you have your dining experience. They call out when your order is ready, you walk up to get it from a window, you clear your table yourself. The salad was good. The chicken puff pie had potential. I think it would have been delicious had it been fresh. The pastry was compacted due to it being pre-made and sitting a while before it was cooked and plated. Calamari was bland. The breading had no seasoning and it was not crispy. The lamb gyro was good. Although the bread it was served in was crumbly, and my husband prefers more tzatziki sauce in his gyro. I doubt that I would recommend or eat here again. I've had fresher food from a food truck. The meat spit was not on or rotating to keep the meat warm. That and how quickly we got our order leads me to believe it was all pre-made and reheated.
Usually a go to great place. I was asking questions about the menu and the cashier didnt know anything. When I asked what she eats here or recommends she said she doesn't eat there, she doesnt like the food. Even if she doesnt thats not great customer service.
I heard quite a lot about this place so I was really looking forward to my visit. Overall it was an okay experience for me. The staff were friendly and probably the best part of it for me. Helpful and efficient. Unfortunately I felt my food a bit on the burned side (especially the meat), which made it ruined the taste. Some of the tables are a tad small too for parties of 4, they should be probably replaced or converted to two-people spots. Maybe one day I’ll be back and have a better experience.
Hewitt Location:\n\nWent for a visit this afternoon. Food was salty with no flavor. service - horrible. Lots of staff members but service was not existent. AC broke down while we were there, no…
No lamb plates, so I ordered a lamb gyro to go. What I got was a gyro with a few overdone pieces of hard chicken. Very disappointing.
Food is anything but Mediterranean here. Gyros are a complete joke. "Lamb gyro" has shredded meat of some kind. Really! My wife had food poisoning right after having their chicken gyro. It was so salty and tasted funky. Everything's so greasy and full of sodium. Made a big mistake giving this place a chance.
If you are from the big city where there are a lot of culinary choices, you will be disappointed in this place. I came to the conclusion that highly rated restaurant in small towns/cities is a gamble because locals do not have many options of places to eat and therefore do not have anything to compare to. I love Mediterranean food and have been to several amazing Mediterranean restaurants in and out of state. This place is not authentic. After I left the restaurant, I decided to read the 1-star reviews on this place and it reflected some of the things I also encountered. The pork was dry, the steak tasted burnt, the calamari was a bit chewy, and the fries tasted old as if it was re-fried or something. I left the place feeling dissatisfied and would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. EDIT: Just had to add another comment. Look at Eva Pap's review. She stated, "Alpha Omega seriously is the only place in Texas and one of the two places in the whole United States that I was ever able to find authentic Greek food!" Looks like review bloat to me. How can you claim it is to be the best of two restaurants in the whole United States? All of her "reviews" have been in and around of Waco, TX. Again, locals who don't know any better may think this is better than a 5-star restaurant in NYC.
After seeing the high reviews here, I decided to stop in while shopping in Waco, excited to try fresh Mediterranean cuisine. After sampling their food with my fiance, I have to wonder what went wrong for a place with such amazing reviews. Was someone in the back having a bad day or was it something more that was wrong. My answer was to be had soon... The fiance first wrestled his way through a plate of unseasoned and undercooked feta fries and a beef gyro that was so greasy he had to take a drink after every bite. Nevermind the size of the unevenly chopped veggies or the tzatziki that was placed so little on the gyro that it looked as if it were trying to hide from the sheer amount of grease. After winning his fight with his egregiously under seasoned gyro and fries, he turned his attention to my struggle and helped me knock out my plate. Perhaps my plate was where the seasonings from his had fled, for the chicken and rice special I was given had enough Italian seasoning on it to choke a horse. As I ate the super dry chicken that sucked the moisture from my mouth, my taste buds were further assaulted by their heaps of seasoning. The fiance finished my chicken when I tapped out, turning my attention to the rice in hopes of redemption. On the first mouthful, I was saddened, as it was under seasoned and overcooked all at the same time. Again, the fiance helped me knock out the rice, so as not to waste. We could not give up our fail-venture now though and so we picked up their supposed tiramisu and two macaroons; lemon and mango passion ( let me add they didn't even know which macaroon was which as they were unlabeled). Upon trying their ' tiramisu', I wanted to cry in sadness. It was more a peanut butter mousse with caramel in the middle and a tiny bit of expresso flavoring to mask the flavor of the overuse of dye in their mirror glaze they poured on top. The macaroons should not even be called this. They were over food colored to the point that we could taste that over the overbearing flavor of almond extract that overshadowed any flavor of the filling, which on its on had a hard artificial flavor. So, Alpha Omega Grill & Bakery, how would I rate? 0 out of 5 if I could. But hey at least the name is right, I came in and began thinking that I was going to get Authentic and amazing food. I ended with the knowledge that I got none of that. Alpha Omega indeed....
