Love this WC hidden spot Great venue for family, friends and date life. Beers are distinctive and tasty. Food trucks are awesome.

Good beer. Ipa, kolsh, lager, Nitro and etc. The choice is different, what you like. But I'm upset they don't have my favorite German size one litr glass. Why?????)))) ..Any ways.. Life music and positive atmosphere. I recommend for family meeting too. For kids there are some street games. Good place.

Love the beers and the low key atmosphere. Spend just a little time here and you realize they've done a great job of capturing the best of the east bay by the people that are there. No club-hopping tec bro's looking to show of their bedazzled jeans here. Just locals looking for a good beers.The east bay has desperatly needed a place like this for a long time.

A true beer garden! Reminded me so much of a Munich neighborhood at first that I felt out of place! Great friends and family setting. Just don't let too many people know about it!

So I wish to thank the people at Calicraft Brewing and 2 girls 1 plant for an epic event yesterday. The people were amazing.. There spritzer was pretty good and there food truck on site..well.. People.. Kids.. Vendors.. Dogs.. Oh and 1 goat...What a great way to bring this 3 day weekend to a start.. Thank you Calicraft..

Fantastic sours and great IPAs plus other great styles. Food trucks are usually outside to provide some grub. Always make an effort to stop by when visiting from SoCal

Love this place, love the beer, staff knows how to make their customers feel welcome and safe! They do an excellent job at social distancing allowing customers to enjoy a great beer without worrying about Covid 19 !

Great brews, ranging from lagers to ales to sour brews. Wonderful staff. You can order pints or flights, including an a la carte flight where you name what you want to taste. Price is right as well.

Unique beers, most are very good and all are at least decent. The beers that incorporate wine elements are the most interesting and the main thing that keeps me coming back. A few good fruit beers as well.

Great beers with a gigantic outdoor area with lots of shade trees. A third party vendor is set up outside to provide great pizzas etc or you can bring your own picnic. Kid-friendly.

Situated in an industrial park, this little gem sets up a food tent outside and lets people hang out on the grassy area of the parking lot. Very family-friendly. Lots of space. Friendly staff. And of course it's one of the best breweries in the area. The United States being "the area." :)

They seem to have the social distancing down fairly well. You order just from the server and only the food runner goes between the tables and the food truck. Food was good, service was awesome as always. It's all outdoors so "safer" than indoors.

I am there a couple of days a week so much fun such wonderful employees. The owner explains everything about the hops and the process of each be there. I really enjoy that then go in there since they opened a very fun place. Great for families.

A walnut creek area institution - one of my favorite places to stop by after a hike or errands in the area - amazing outdoor space and indoor (when we get to do that again) and the staff are always kind. They usually have food trucks but snacks are also available. Solid selection of beers/drinks for all crowds!

Delicious beers and an ever expanding patio area make Calicraft a fun spot to visit. We stopped in on a holiday weekend and had no problem getting a table and hitting the food trucks nearby.

Kid friendly brewery. The best choice if you have active kids and want to get a drink. Outside food is accepted since they don have food. But there is a cart called sip and slide where you can get some snack if you don't bring anything. There are lots of outdoor benches and indoor sitting.

I like that this location is off the road so you don't hear constant traffic going by. Beer is good and it's just off the bike path.

Great beer, friendly owner and hip space. We came on the opening day and it was jam packed with crowd. I tried the Buzzerkeley and it is sweet and refreshing. I wish they have more seatings and food but that is probably down the line when they are more established. I hope they work out their POS system too because only one was working when we were there, slowing down the line. Can't wait for them to start serving food and open longer hours.

Great spot with a lot of good brews on tap and in cans. The food vendors were both great and the whole atmosphere was laidback.

What can I say about this place? It's quite different in the way they make their beer. The owner sure an eye on being bold, clever, and creative on great tasting beer! Environments fun, cozy, and also lively. Keep up the great work Calicraft team, you all are awesome.

At first wasn't sure we were in the right place as we entered the parking lot. But in the back there it was! Calicraft has a great indoor and outdoor space with about 12 beers on tap. Great service and fun beers. Loved it!

Tucked away in an office park off of Ygnacio Valley road, I never would've guessed this place existed of I hadn't deliberately sought it out. But it's got the makings of a great neighborhood bar, so definitely drop by if you're in the area, or are just into good beer. The brews are great, and actually pretty cheap too. There aren't many places where you can get a pint of craft beer for $5.

1/12/18 I love this friendly little brewery. It's only a couple miles from my home down the street, and work office at Shadelands. They open at 4:30 so it's a great stop for a 5:00 meet-up with friends. I've enjoyed every beer I've tried here, and there's always a fun variety (sour, chocolate, berry flavors, etc.) There is seating inside but a really nice open area in the front when you can sit on seats or on the grass. And they're pet friendly! Terrific spot to relax on the weekend with your best fur buddy and a good book!

I enjoyed this beer pub more than ever before. They have enlarged their outdoor seating considerably and come to your table for your order. You have to have at least one food item on your check and the food truck that was there (Charlie's) delivered. With a half dozen different tacos as well as some burgers the food was fantastic. Well done Calicraft!

Calicraft is fantastic! As a Walnut Creek native who has lived abroad for the past decade, it's one of the first places I want to visit every time I’m back in town. It's truly one of the things I miss most about the 'Creek. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming, with plenty of space for kids, dogs, and large groups. I also love the variety of food trucks—there’s always something great to try. The only reason I’d give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the limited selection of non-alcoholic beverages. I know—it’s a brewery! :-) That said, I’ve gone with friends who love the vibe but aren’t big drinkers or are the designated drivers, and they’re often disappointed by the lack of options like soft drinks, flavored waters, or non-alcoholic beers. This is also something to consider for families with kids, who could benefit from more kid-friendly drink choices. A larger fridge stocked with a wider range of non-alcoholic options might be a great addition. Otherwise, no complaints at all—Calicraft is a gem. Keep up the great work! Edit - thanks for the reply, Calicraft! I didn't know you had so many non-alc drinks on offer, so 5 stars it is. :-) Great to hear. Can't wait to see you all again next summer.

I am surprised about how this placed turned into a great family friendly spot. My friend and our newborn babies enjoyed a chill early Saturday evening with friends. We had an ok pizza from citizen.

Great beers and people. Vast outdoor space, light industry parking lot, but plenty of trees and tables. Usually has food, truck or pizza guy. Taproom nice with art displays of local artists. New facility approved by planning but construction has not started yet.

The hazy IPA was excellent and the staff is very friendly and patient. My wife asked ten thousand questions and there were no rolling eyes! The place is safe with a huge parking lot. There are plenty of tables. I am not sure if they offer flight or not hut that would be nice to sample some beers. This is a family friendly place too with plenty of you d kids running around but not be on your way. Tired of bar scene so this is out place to go to when our kid has his basketball games across the street.

So, it is located in the most random of areas. I felt like I was on my way to a physical therapy appointment or something. But it turned out to be a great spot. Lots of outdoor seating, food tents and such. Inside was great. It was pretty busy and there was still plenty of seating. Love that it's very dog friendly. I will be bringing my 3 pups next time for sure. Really enjoyed the beers. Service was excellent as well. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

My wife and I really enjoy coming here with friends. Beer is great. People are great. Love the outside area, they keep improving on the space. My dog is a big fan as well. No real gripes. Trivia night is fun, as well as other nights, but would appreciate another bartender on popular nights (lines get mad long). Keep it up!

There was plenty of outdoor seating at this brewery with umbrellas and trees to offer necessary shade. They have a flat screen TV inside, but there is very limited seating. The indoor tables were reserved so you may need to call ahead if you want to watch the sporting games. Sundays seem to be an informal family day with small children running around as their parents enjoy a pint or two. The food truck in the parking lot gives a few good food options, making it better than your typical bar food--think upscaled pulled pork tacos and hot link hot dogs, among other things. Just wish the menu wasn't so limited. Good atmosphere, good beer, good food!

Awesome place with great staff and a wide selection of craft beers and ciders. There is both indoor and outside seating available. They have food trucks daily but you can also bring in your own food. It's a great neighborhood spot!

I would definitely recommend coming here if you enjoy beers but also it is an easy place to hang. Breweries are pretty great for young families.

I always enjoy stopping here with friends and I think it's awesome that they have food trucks come in. I tried the Rose Ale, not the best smelling ale but it tastes SO good. Kudos on that one!

In the middle of a suburban industrial park I sit at a bar height table enjoying my Oaktown brown ale.

Ingredient risks that work; a cornucopia of infused favors. None bad, none uber memorable, all quaffable. Family & dog friendly. German style beers could really use a pretzel. Bring on the food trucks! The Bay is hit yo mouth full flavor, ginger is flavorful, brown is perfectly oaky but overly bitter for a dark beer.

This is a great place to hang and have great beers. Recommend The Bay, Karl, or any rotating IPA. 8/2/18 anniversary week, new beers each day! Smile fellas. :)

This is a great place, but I wish they had better nonalcoholic options. Would be so nice to see some kombucha or even options to get some sparkling water. Love to hang out here but I don’t always want to drink and not everyone wants a sugary slushy.

Calicraft is a fun, family and dog friendly spot conveniently located in Walnut Creek (if you have a car or live in the area). They have made the best of a mediocre location by expanding their operation into the parking lot, to create a fun, not too attractive beer garden. The beer is awesome and always keeps me coming back. There are no food options and very few kid friendly drinks provided by the brewery, but on most days you can find a food truck cranking out hot plates and selling canned sodas. The staff is solid and the place is usually busy (especially on a hot sunny day). I would definitely recommend Calicraft to anyone looking for a relaxed vibe and solid brews.

Overall, pretty good vibes and decent beer🍻

Beer was good. I wanted to visit a brew pub pub, not a playground. The kids out front need to be controlled if they want my continued business.

The beers are pretty good. The but the last 2 times I've been there, I decided I am going to rename Calicraft. Let it from this day forward be known as "Kiddie-Craft". I mean, dozens (many dozens) of kids running around screaming (even the owner's own kid). That is NOT why I go to an establishment that.... (ready for it)... serves alcohol! I guess parents of young children are completely oblivious to the fact that this is an adult zone. Kids and alcohol together are not cute. With too many competitors around, with better beer... I don't need to go back. There are better beers without the overwhelming under-aged overtones.

We stopped in here on our way to Travis, we had lunch and a drink, the environment was modern and clean. Our service was just ok, the guy helping us was just not friendly or personable at all. The food was fine, we had appetizers and had a nice time chatting with each other.

The place is probably cool the beers all right but it’s extraordinarily expensive when you try to buy it outside of the store not even worth investing in. Over $20 for four pack come on what’s in it? Lower your prices and I’ll start buying your beer again.

The drink selection was quite Limited. The food truck outside was overpriced. None the less I had a great time hanging out with co-workers. Maybe some music in the background? I have kids and all I could hear was kids running around waiting for the parentals to stop drinking and go home. Not sure if I will go back for a while unless my workers convince me to go again.

After patiently waiting in line and swiping my card for a 4 pack and slushee I asked her a question about getting the drink in a plastic cup so I can throw it away outside when I’m done vs coming back inside. Not only did she not answer, she answered this older guys 5 questions after mine who literally stepped in front of me in line while grabbing his drinks. I had to ask again, can you answer MY question? She had the audacity to judge and jump to conclusions that I wanted to drink and drive. Apparently if you don’t look like them you don’t get the same service. Ridiculous to say the least.

Nice atmosphere. Went a little later in the evening so not a huge crowd. There is "no smoking" on the premises apparently, my friends were told nicely by a gentleman staffer where they could smoke and when we went to that area, a blonde woman very rudely told us we could not be there and smoke despite being told otherwise. Not a problem we kindly complied and left due to her attitude. There are signs that say no smoking but maybe a few that say "on the premises" would also be beneficial.

We went to CaliCraft in Davis this evening with friends. The staff was wonderful. The pizza and fried chicken sandwich were thoughtfully prepared. BUT the two Summer salads we had were not edible…literally terrible. They were supposed to have arugula & romaine lettuce which was substituted with 100% iceberg lettuce and there was 0 taste. The chicken was not chopped or cut and was primarily dark meat. They were ugly, bland and a huge disappointment….my friend and I couldn’t eat them. I also need to mention we ordered one pizza, received 2. Ordered two Summer salads and they brought Caesar salads to our table which we had to send back. We kind of gave up after my husband had already eaten his dinner and the other 3 of us sat waiting for our food. I hope they hire a chef to make up a good salad recipe for them so we can go back. I mean, how hard is it?

We went to CaliCraft in Davis this evening with friends. The staff was wonderful. The pizza and fried chicken sandwich were thoughtfully prepared. BUT the two Summer salads we had were not edible…literally terrible. They were supposed to have arugula & romaine lettuce which was substituted with 100% iceberg lettuce and there was 0 taste. The chicken was not chopped or cut and was primarily dark meat. They were ugly, bland and a huge disappointment….my friend and I couldn’t eat them. The incompetent slobs charged me for an extra beer, so I had to call them and get them to refund my card. I don't like unnecessary postings on my bank statement, even if they're refunds to make up for service errors. You mess up with my money ONCE, then you lose my business forever.
