Great ice cream. As chocolate on chocolate on chocolate lover's, my girlfriend each had a medium chocolate cone generously covered with sprinkles. Their restaurant was immaculate and they had warm and friendly customer service!

We were greater almost right as we entered. The counter and drive thru weren't busy (off time of day). Prompt service, friendly kids, and delicious banana split!

My first visit here I didn't expect it to be so busy but the parking lot was packed full and the drive through line was down the block. The food was perfect !! We were served at our table and did not wait very long. I will be back here again !!

Great place for lunch. The burgers are so much better than other fast food places at a reasonable price. It's very clean inside. They have highchairs for younger kids and babies. The lines move quickly and Everytime we go in everyone is nice and smiles.

Of course they are well known for there frosty ice cream Blizzards, they are the best, I also always get a qt size container of vanilla & chocolat ice cream to have at home, then they have these things called cheese curds absolutely awesome. And there burgers a very good as well.

Everything was great. Place was clean. Server was friendly and patient with our orders.. ya know.. small cone..choc ice cream rainbow sprinkles, etc. My kids didn't know what they wanted.. kept changing. I thought the server went above and beyond by making suggestions for the kids. We sat at the tables outside. I used to go there as a kid, but at that time Rt 9 was only 1 lane in each direction and they had order windows and tables in the front.

Love the Blizzards! They are NOT cheap with the toppings! And feel weird calling it a Topping, because it's Not Just on top! Wonderful cookie dough all thru the ice-cream! The burger i had was pretty good too!

The manager Alex is the absolutely fantastic. She made my son's birthday perfect. She is an asset the the company and I hope she is recognized as one. Her attitude and customer service skills is second to none. I can not recommend this location enough.

Great service from the manager Leah. I ordered a cake over the phone for a family member for his birthday last year. My experience was excellent in every way, including processing a phone order, the other team members were courteous, and the cake was exactly what I ordered. So, I did the same this year! Only this year's experience was better. A team member immediately referred me to Leah. Leah remembered me. She knew her products, describing each one. She listened to my budgetary needs and implemented a custom upselling approach that worked for both of us! I was satisfied with my purchase and was $3 above budget, which I was happy to spend because the customer service was extraordinary.

Definitely a great place for a dad to take his kids after going to home Depot. They love the blizzards, the fries and the food. The ladies were really nice there too.

Best Dairy Queen I have visited, everyone is very pleasant and the food is delicious. Don't really need to comment on ice cream.. the best.. fresh fruit alway. Very clean and tranquil environment. Will recommend to friends and family.

I've been to this dairy Queen about five times over the last few months. The food is good and always hot, especially the french fries which I really liked because I hate cold french fries. The service is always good. Very friendly staff.

I don't get to come here very often but I am addicted to their burgers. Their food is delicious and their ice cream is top notch. Can't wait to go back.

Best fast food banana split - GOOD TO KNOW that I can drive up and get a pretty good banana split from a drive through! It’s a challenging drive-through for sure with limited space - it shoots you right into a busy after crossing over a pedestrian sidewalk. It’s not a game-changer unless you are a careless driver! It might be useful if they had some sort of parabolic mirror at the sidewalk and a warning light to pedestrians that a car might be rolling out across their path.

My first time at Dairy Queen, it was really good. Way faster than I thought they would be and also the customer service was good and the restaurant was really clean! I got the 6 dollar deluxe burger combo and upgraded my sundae to a Reese's blizzard for a dollar. I think it's a good value. The burger was really good. I feel like it's better than other fast food places. The blizzard was excellent. I flipped it upside down and yes it all stayed in the cup. I don't live in the area but next time I'm here I definitely be back!

Very friendly and prompt. She greeted me with a smile and said whenever I was ready to order just let her know. It was a great experience, at least for me and my visit.

Good 'ol DQ - is good ice cream- however this location is on a busy corner on Rt 9 and parking and drive-thru tend to clash with each other for lack of space.

I mainly come for dessert...their Blizzards specifically, because they are NOT cheap with toppings! You even get plenty down into the icecream! I had a burger for the 1st time that was good as well.

Staff courteous and professional. Only drawback was the store was very cold. We spilled one of our sodas, which they quickly cleaned up and replaced for free.

Good burgers and fries...rotisserie chicken is really good...their value meals...burger, fries, drink and sundae for $6 is a good deal...also the chicken tender value meal...blizzards and milk shakes are excellent..other than value meals, a bit pricy but just the way things are these days

Indulging in a bit of nostalgia l, as this was one of my family's favorite stops with us kids at the time in the 1960s-70s. Back then, it was a typical DQ with a walk-up window. Now, like everything else, it's modernized. I did the drive-thru and ordered a chocolate dip top cone. The car in front of me must have had a more formidable order because I waited behind him for over 10 minutes. The cone was good, but maybe my expectations were a bit high. The service was good too. But it just lacked the fun of standing outside on line for an ice cream treat on a hot summer night. I guess both DQ and I are not kids anymore.

Small Dairy Queen with friendly staff. Service is quick and the place is fairly clean. They have a decent amount of seating and a drive through. Definitely a great place to visit if you want an ice cream.

Place was packed around 6pm on a Sunday. Parking is very sparse so took a bit to even get into the parking lot, but at least there were parking spots. Ordered the usual Firegrill burger which was excellent, though I went overboard with the triple (double would have been more than enough!). I was expecting the s'mores shake to be a little more like a shake and less like a milk drink, but it was good otherwise.

I went through the drive thru. Service was fast, and employees were nice. I was able to order something that was no longer on the ice cream menu, and they accommodated me with no issues.

My first time being at a Dairy Queen that also serves food and it was better than I expected. Being there reminded me of being in a Friendly's restaurant, minus the wait staff. I had a burger combo meal and it was actually, to my surprise, good. The fries I had were so-so, nothing much to write home about imho. The location itself had very friendly, efficient staff and the location itself was well maintained and clean. I'd come back again if I'm ever up in the area.

I have gone to many different Dairy Queens over the years and I liked all of them. In terms of the Dairy Queen in Wappingers Falls, I truly like this place. I enjoy their soft icecream and lunch menu choices like a burger, fries, chicken and more. I have eaten inside of DQ and on the outdoor picnic table by the parking lot. My grandchildren also enjoy the food and icecream too. They also sell their own icecream cakes right in the store. They are also delicious. 😋 The drive-thru is convenient but there's not enough room for many cars to be when there's a long line. Ordering is easy enough. The parking lot is small so not too many cars can find a spot. Overall, I recommend going to DQ and I am a repeat customer.

Good food, great ice cream! They just need to remember that it is a family restaurant and monitor the volume of the radio. When we there it was so loud, other customers were literally yelling at one another. I asked to have radio turned down, and they did, but it was still rediculous. The songs that were being played also weren't all appropriate for children to be listening to.

The ice cream is delicious. Really like the raw milk taste in the ice cream. The downside is the sides, such as choco chips, brownie are too much in quantity, compared to the ice cream itself.

It's Dairy Queen, not a high expectation here. It was clean and the young woman on the register was very good she made sure she got or long ice cream order right, I liked that

The ice cream is alright, it's right near the highway so it's a good rest stop to cool down. Sometimes the wind is so nice it really is a nice spot to stop at.

Stick to the blizzards, even though they aren't as thick as when we were younger, the chicken and waffles was a mistake, mostly because of the waffles, quick burger onion rings, chicken tenders.... It's a good dairy Queen.

Went for a sweet treat. First time to a dairy queen. The product was yummy but the cashier gave an attitude when I asked a question with no one in line behind me.

Went for dinner and ice cream. Price was as expected. The chicken tenders were good, and plenty were given, but they did not have the buffalo tenders, which is what I really wanted. Nothing special or out of the ordinary.

Park your car and go inside. THE DRIVE THRU IS A DISASTER!!! Someone is going to get hurt over some ice cream because there is no enforcement for flow of direction towards the drive thru line. I know im not the only one. If you see a line for the drive thru, come back later.

Was very very busy. Staff just seemed like they wanted to just get everyone out. Also I didn't get my blizzard handed to me upside down like they claim or next one is free. I didn't even bother to tell them to try and get my next one free.

Food tasted fine but I'm pretty sure this is the only fast food place I have ever been to that doesn't have free refills on drinks and I was told they permanently got rid of them because of covid? Just wasn't expecting DQ to be so cheap that they need to save money on not giving free refills.

They have great ice cream. The food here is terrible. the burger was wet. French fries were soggy. if you like that, this is the place for you. Not for me. Staff was awesome!

Great location with several picnic tables. Lots of cakes and pies in the refrigerator, ready for ordering. The Dairy Queen serves shakes, sundaes, and cones of ice cream, but also burgers, fries and chicken nuggets. Nice memorabilia decorates the walls. Clean tables and bathroom. No wi-fi. Maybe due to the 'Rona and having no customers in the store for the last damn year, the staff has lost all sense of customer service and just look at you like a burden.

We ordered VERY simple ice cream and they got NONE of it right and we’re NOT friendly.

My family and I went for the cookie dough blizzards they are NOTHING LIKE SHOWN ON TV the cookie dough is absolutely out of a bag not fresh at all. THE BLIZZARD IT SELF IS NOT CREAMY IT IS HARD. THRY DONT EVEN SERVE IT UPSIDE DOWN. We were completely out raged we could have went to wall Mart and gotten ice cream for a more reasonable price

There's not a heck of a lot to say about Dairy Queen except the employees there never seem to care about the quality of the food prep. And also if they tell you that they'll deliver that one item that wasn't ready with your order to your table expect to remember to get it yourself cause they'll forget about you or that's at least been my experience there.

Ice cream was good. The customer service was bad. She cut us off after 3 orders so my husband and I didn't get anything. At least the kids got something.

I made the mistake of coming here for dinner and dessert. For ice cream it's a great place to go and I would recommend it though I have a favorite ice cream spot I prefer over DQ. The food while it tasted decent was super low quality. The burger buns crumbled like dried out stale bread, the burger patty was as thin as a tomato slice, actually there really wasn't much of anything on the burger the bun that crumbled made up 75% of it and even the bun was fairly thin. The fries were okay. Even the boneless BBQ chicken strips we're fairly thin and dry. The ice cream was very good though.

We got meal deals, and for the second time in a row, the fries were soggy and barely warm, like they had been sitting around. The burger was greasy, and they didn’t include a sauce for the chicken or napkins. Also for the second time, the sodas were horrible like hardly any syrup was being used. This place can be great when they give you fresh food, but it’s so hit or miss. No excuse for food that isn’t fresh especially in this economy and especially as the place was busy! The only thing that consistently is decent is the sundae. Please get your staff to make sure to make the fries fresh and to test the soda to make sure that it doesn’t taste horrible!!! Super disappointed!!!

I felt nostalgic and tried a peanut buster parfait that I haven't had in years. However, the peanuts were so salty that I only tasted salt and a hint of chocolate. I had to throw over half of it away. Maybe I got the bottom of the peanut bag. But it was disappointing. Service was fast and friendly.

Went into a totally empty dining area so business was slow at lunchtime today. But my burger came out fast. Usually DQ claims they have the best burger and usually they do, flamr grilled flavor, etc. Not today. They obviously gave me a pre-made burger and warmed it up in microwave. The pickles were boiling hot, the bun was rubber and no flavor in the burger. The staff were awesome but whoever the food prep was........

Certain people never bother to actually blend a blizzard. What’s the point of getting one? The bottom half had absolutely nothing in it. The female at the window was very pleasant. Apparently there are several complaints in recent history that are similar. I guess the Dairy Queen team isn’t doing much about it. And yes, it’s not just the Karen’s complaining. 🤣

I always forget why I stop going to DQ and then I go and am quickly reminded. Less than halfway through my Blizzard and the mint and Oreo pieces just run out. I don't blame the young people working there, how much would you care for near poverty wages? This will be my last time here until I forget why I stopped going again

Disappointed that they closed the kitchen for food at 9:15, I get they close at 10 but seems very early to do so.

Unbelievably slow service. Was literally in line for a solid 10 minutes without even an acknowledgement. There were other people there, but it was by no means THAT busy. Others around seemed frustrated as well. Perhaps they were understaffed. Ended up just leaving.

They got my 2 orders wrong we specifically asked for a certain blizzard and got a completely different thing, and to top it off they added peanuts which we are absolutely not a fan of.

Worst soft serve ice cream I have ever had; must be low quality low fat ice cream because it had a slimey texture and and very bland taste. They would not flip the blizzard upside down because if they did the blizzard would have fell out of the cup since it sucked so bad. The fries taste like nothing but the oil they are fried in and were soggy. The burger tasted like one of those cheap single wrapped cheeseburgers you get from Sam's Club that you just microwave so I dont know how they justify charging over $10 for a combo meal. I'm so used to the dairy queen that I had when I lived back home which was awesome. This dairy queen was just a major let down and ruined other dairy queens for me. I dont know how people think this is quality is acceptable. I would rate a 0 if I could. I hope this review can help other people avoid a massive letdown.

If I could give no stars I would. I'm very understanding and try my best to give people the benefit of the doubt.. I come here bc my daughter loves the food & I live around the corner but I gotta say 90% of the time the girls are ALWAYS rude, confused & over all not pleasant. Besides the expensive "fast food" I wouldn't mind spending the money bc my daughter loves it but the people here just suck. I think theres one girl that actually is pleasant (younger with glasses) besides that, they NEED to work on there customer service. Thanks

I live in the Wappinger's area and have visited this Dairy Queen numerous times, and each time the young ladies taking my order seem to LACK customer service skills, maybe its a class that should be taught at orientation. When ask for a specific order like: light on the sprinkles, Iget Tons of sprinkles to where i cant even taste the ice cream. This has happened numerous times 🤬! I visited on 8/17/20 and again bad customer service, the moral there is so bad, tonight and everytime I go there, when I pull up to the window, theres no greeting, like hello with a smile, they just give you your total with no smile. Horrible! Tonight will be the last time I come there. The girls at the window need attitude adjustments. Do they want to work there? Or is someone forcing them? The cashiers make it seem as if they are doing me a favor by taking my order? In addition, there are many of stores in Wappinger's I go to but the girls attitudes at that Dairy Queen STINKS!!

Had a medium sundae. About half the size of a small cone. Ice cream was good. Sauce was not so much. Staff looks and acts disinterested.

We pulled up to the drive-through for a late night snack at 9:36pm. When I Googled it out days, it closes at 10 pm. The pre-recorded message welcomed me and told me to wait. We waited long enough to look through the whole menu and decided on 3 Oreo Blizzard (that will never be had). When an actual person answered the drive-through intercom, they told us that they were closed. It was 9:47pm. DQ Please fix the time.

Apparently according to their staff the dining room closes at 930pm how ever the website says 10pm, with they got it together

You think I would learn my lesson. Their blizzards are a cup of vanilla ice cream and then the toppings on top. It's not a blizzard at all. If I wanted a cup of ice cream I would order it or go to the store and get it. I would reccomend asking for an extra cup of toppings to mix it in yourself. Then it's pretty good!

I have been here multiple times. The drive thru takes forever even if you are only ordering ice cream. I also went inside with my husband and toddlers once to order food and ice cream. We got two combo meals and food for the kids. I tried asking for tap water for the kids and they wanted to charge me.

Got a burger at the drive thru 1:30pm and drove away. This thing must have sat under the light or hot tray for hours- it was so soggy and so so hot. It wasn’t edible, disgusting.

By the time I get home, this above the cup ice cream is already melting (as it would be expected). So I have to remove this plastic cover and get ice cream all over myself. Whoever designed this is either too dumb or hates DQ

When I entered the establishment, there were two men ahead of me who were being served. I immediately noticed that the staff interacted with them politely and attentively, which was in complete contrast to the treatment I received. Once they were finished, the employee behind the counter walked away to talk with a coworker and ignored my presence, making me feel dismissed and unwelcome. When he finally returned to take my order, he behaved as though he could barely speak or understand what I was saying, despite my order being simple and clear. His attitude came across as uninterested and intentionally unhelpful. The entire interaction left me feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and singled out. The atmosphere shifted noticeably, and it did not feel like a professional or customer-friendly environment at all.

Placed a mobIle order here and they claimed they never had it. I showed bank receipt and still refused to serve me. The NASTY human being behind the counter (Ayanna) was so unbelievably rude and screaming in our faces claiming we needed to go to bank bc she didn’t see it from their end. Refused to look up order number and claimed to be the manager when I asked to speak to one but the real one came over helped us and told her to make the order. She threw our ice creams at us and overheard her saying she would spit in our ice cream. Disgusting customer service and treatment from this child. Will never step foot in here and hope the owners do something about their terribly rude staff.

Very disappointed with my visit. I came in hoping to enjoy an Oreo cookie brownie ice cream, but when I mentioned my nut allergy, I was told I could only have soft serve in a cone. The staff said they don’t wash or change utensils between servings, and they flat-out refused to use clean ones to help reduce the risk of cross-contamination. To make matters worse, the staff was incredibly rude about it. They kept repeating that they would not accommodate me and even said, “If anything happens to you, that’s on you.” That’s not just unprofessional it’s unacceptable and shows a complete lack of care for customer safety. There were also no signs anywhere warning that all items may contain peanuts or could be cross-contaminated. For a food business, especially one serving desserts where allergies are common, this is a huge oversight and a serious safety concern. I won’t be returning and would caution others with allergies to stay away.

You walk in at 8:55pm and at 9 pm go to order and they tell you they’re not making food no sign on door or anywhere stating they stop making food. They tell you their only serving treats you order and pay for your treats and then they don’t have your treats. Refund will take 7-10 business days. For warn customers ahead of time. This is an inconvenience especially since the drive was half hour away from location. DO BETTER

Just picked up a chicken tender basket. The box was loaded with fries which would be great if they were actually edible. I got 6 chicken tenders a soggy piece of bread and wet fries for 12.99. I'll stick to this location for ice cream only from now on and on the rare occasion I spend on fast food better off going to popeyes

It’s time for the owner of this establishment to step up and teach the employees the most basic customer service. The employees of this location have absolutely terrible customer service skills. The drive thru crew are some of the most unfriendly and unpleasant people I have came across in the food service industry. Lastly, blizzards are rarely mixed throughly. Do better!

It’s Dairy Queen. There’s nothing wrong with the food, the atmosphere or the service, but man has the price gone up...ALOT...a Blizzard cost me $8.10. I think I’ll buy my ice cream at Stewart’s from now on. Somehow they’re selling “almost” the same thing for almost 1/2 the cost. I can’t support these extreme prices...I’ll miss you.
