I recently had my son’s baptism reception at Gs in Warwick. We had a party of about 25 friends, family and kids. The service was fantastic! The food was delicious and they were sweet enough to allow me to bring in a cake for the celebration, which they cut and served for us. It was a great way to conclude a beautiful morning. Thank you for being a part of our special celebration!
Food was great. Large selection but service was a little slow.
Great everything! Coming back here all the time and it’s always good. Last time Victoria was serving us and she was very friendly and took care of all allergies my husband have!
Ordered the Ranchero sandwich with a side of fresh fruit for takeout lunch today. Wow the sandwich was really good and they sure did not skimp on the ingredients. The chicken breast was perfectly cooked and tender, not dry. Very much enjoyed it. The fresh fruit cup was also great, I could not have sliced up fresher fruit at home - definitely not something they scooped out of a bucket. Was my first time there - will return to dine in someday. Service was prompt and courteous.
My friend suggested we try G’s for lunch and neither of us had been there since the change in ownership. Our lunches were great. I ordered a Cobb salad and customized a few things to my liking. The grilled chicken was good, avocado perfectly ripe, and they make their own croutons. Our server was perfect- friendly, polite & attentive. I ordered a coffee to drink, and it was a solid cup of coffee. I was able to drink it black and thats how you know it’s good coffee! I also ordered a piece of carrot cake to go. It was a giant slice, larger than my hand, and definitely fresh. Absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to go back to try a breakfast and also a dinner at G’s.
Had an amazing start to my morning after coming here! The diner itself is very comfortable and clean, and the service and food were amazing! Carina was my waiter and she was so attentive and sweet and attended with a smile and on top of that made an amazing latte to start off my morning! Will definitely be back!
We were having trouble finding food in town (everywhere is small or needs reservations) and we found the diner. Food was delicious and came out fast. I had lox benedict with home fries and a cold brew. This diner doesn't look like your average diner, it fits the cozy town. The booths are comfortable, but not too spacious. Our group of 6 got a big space so they can accommodate that if you need it. Service was great, the food came out fast but the actual servers were not around much (when they were around they did a great job and made sure everyone was happy) I can't blame them though, it is so busy (and that's a good sign). I do recommend they check on the bathrooms better, It was dirty and there was no toilet paper.
I’ve been to the diner twice, once for breakfast and the other for dinner. The breakfast met my expectations (scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, tea and pancakes, which were huge). I prefer my pancakes a little lighter, fluffier, but good. as for service, our waitress was excellent, checked on us many times! For the dinner, we ordered a salad and a meatball parm sandwich, both were excellent. The hero bread was still very fresh, and the meatballs & sauce were tasty. It was near closing and they had soup that they were going to throw out so they asked if we’d like some to take home, chicken noodle and broccoli cheddar, we said yes. We ate them the next day for lunch, excellent. Service was good for dinner, they were cleaning up to close, so not as attentive as my breakfast experience (when it was much busier) but I was confident I could get the waitress if I needed to. I will go back.
We've been here a couple of times and the food has been fine and reasonably priced. The few times we've been there, however, the place has been nearly empty and you just get the impression the staff - seems like it might be family owned - work too many hours and would rather be somewhere else.
Service is slow (seated and nobody was sent to take an order for 10 minutes, waitress delivered the order and disappeared.) Lots of workers doing nothing while one or two do all the work. Food is really below average (weird, cheap flavor to everything.) Music "system" is a speaker near the entrance that plays slightly audible 70's music. Just a really badly-run business in general. Unfortunately, they have no real competition and no reason to do any better.
Had a beautiful day at Warwick valley and decided to just grab a bite to eat before our drive home to the shore, who doesn’t like a burger from their local diner, so we were excited to stop in We were seated and a few other parties after us were also seated and we waited and waited, the waitress came over and totally bypassed us to serve the other tables behind us that had been seated way after us, not even a drink order was taken, finally someone came over and took our order so we placed it all at once, drinks came back out and we were missing 2, food took over 40 minutes and the fries seemed like they had been cooked over and over, took one bite for a mouthful of oil, the burger was dry, cheese was melted and probably reheated because the food took so long and it was just a waste of a $100 Such a shame, cute town, lesson learned.
Went here on a Thursday afternoon with a large group of 14. The place was more or less empty so we sat right away. We placed our order about 15 minutes later and figured our food would be there soon. We were VERY WRONG. nearly 90 minutes for burgers and sandwiches with fries. The fries were cold in some plates and hot on others. Some of us for huge portions of fries while others got next to none. The waitress kept apologizing for the kitchen being "backed up" but I cant see how. The restaurant was almost empty. The expensive experience is summed up by my photo. My burger came with that sorry excuse for a pickle. Looked as it was bitten and then served to me. No management came to check on us knowing that our food was delayed and server was apologizing for something that wasn't her fault. The good quality wasn't good either. The food lacked taste. We were served cold crepes. One coffee was scalding one was freezing. One soda cup was to the brim. The other only like 75% full. Portions were ehh. The chicken parm was plentiful the BLT was bread with lettuce; a tiny piece of bacon and one slice of tomato in the middle sliced making 75% of the sandwich without tomato. The wraps were almost all lettuce. Burgers have big and beautiful buns with a small pattie in the middle. I would sum this review up like this. I was 80 miles from home. We were all very hungry. If we had the choice between eating here again or traveling home and taking a chance on traffic then eating; we'd take the chance and not waste our money. I will again say. Our server was doing her best and was not given any help to make our experience better. Stay away and save your money.
Don't eat here. Overpriced diner slop. Worse than average. Small portions and high prices. Plus, this place charges a credit card fee of like 5 percent. Pure ripoff. By the way, nowhere is there a sign that there is a credit card fee which is against the law. I reported them. Just a dump. Don't eat here. Grade F. This place should just close like with the previous owners!
I ordered chicken and waffles from door dash. It was supposed to be fried chicken with honey. Instead I got burnt chicken cutlets and some nasty white gravy I’m assuming it was supposed to be “country gravy “. The waffle was soaked with it. I thought I’d give it a try because maybe I’ll like it. Nope, no flavor and the texture was off putting. The crepe my son ordered was good though. I thought the quality would be a lot better for the price you pay.
Today is Saturday, May 24 2025 and I will never ever go back to G’s restaurant to order anything. I took my family there for dinner after the movies and I tell you not this place is garbage. I ordered a steak with onions, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. I asked for the steak to become medium. They brought it to me burnt and put cold onions on it cold grilled onions, really!!! My son ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and it was two pieces of toast with two pieces of cheese in the middle of it wasn’t even melted. my other son ordered kids menu spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were cold. My wife ordered macaroni and cheese. It looked like it was noodles and soup. I called the manager over the tall white lady next to the register. She came over and got disrespectful with me and then told me that I was not setting a good example in front of my son. I told the lady you are yelling at me in front of my son and all I was asking you to see the way the food came out. I also told her that I am not looking for a free meal. She then told me well if you wanted a gourmet meal, you should’ve went somewhere else to eat. This is a diner lady. I have been to plenty of diners. I have been to Galloway Grill and never had a problem with their food. Maybe I should’ve waited the 45 minutes to have the dinner at Galloway Grill with my family, But G’s diner will never ever see a dime for me again
Decided to try the new diner. Wasn't busy but we couldn't seem to get our order taken. Finally ordered a western omelet with fruit. The omelet was huge and the fruit had seen better days. Ordered mac and cheese with pulled pork. This dish could have served 4 people and looked like boxed mac and cheese with extra cheese put on it. The blueberries pancakes had no flavor, again this dish could have served 2 people. Waste of food.
My husband and I went for dinner. The place smells. It was so bad that I felt like throwing up. We stayed outside after ordering our food. Anyway, the host was not pleasant at all. We were extremely disappointed. Our food was horrible ! Hubby had to throw away his burger ! As for me, I lost my appetite and did not finish my food.
