Tip: Request ginger and wasabi, as it's not always automatically served. If you are watching your sodium intake, request their house made soy sauce.

So good and delicious sushi they whip up my favorite roll every time and never disappoint. Me and my man’s favorite sushi spot in Wasilla! Never has given me a stomach ache either like some places do
One of my family's favorite places to eat! Affordable and nice sized portions. Will continue to go here.
Possibly the best sushi place we have encountered. So many options for types of rolls. The miso soup might be the best I've ever had. Same goes for the crab rangoons. I believe they fry in rice paper instead of pastry, so you get more crab and light crispness. We will be returning very soon. Other popular Asian restaurants don't nearly have as many options.
I had the korean nood soup with the spicy at level 2 and it was so good if its your first time get this it really u can have it with no spicy or with spicy pov:im a real person
Zushi has some of the best Miso soup I've ever tasted! In addition, it is the most like the Japanese cuisine I have had from Kyoto. Their staff is thoughtful and nice, and there's always a rich blend of culture and family atmosphere in the restaurant. It is very comforting! I really enjoy eating there. The food is great (reasonably priced, too), the staff are fantastic, and it's just a plain treat to go there. ありがとう!!
Bento Box Combos are delicious and great value. Service was fast and kind. Food was amazing from chicken katsu to rolls to nigiri.
**2024 update** Sushi is still really good.Still have to request ginger and Wasabi. Still serving water in horrible steal glasses. Sadly, service is slowed way, way down. Recent trip on Friday was the worst. Only 3 tables the whole time and it took the gal probably over q0 mins to come back and even get our order. She never once returned to refill our waters. She never came to check on us and we waited over 10 mins to have her head pop out to let her know we'd like to-go boxes-she disappeared! Enough time went by that we actually got up to ask the sushi chefs for boxes...that's when she finally came back out with some. You would think she would've taken that as a sign for the check, right? NOPE! Asked for it and again, she took a her sweet time and waited until we stood up to get it. Never once did she smile or act pleasant during the service. But bow, when she saw cash, she was more that willing to collect the paid bill-before we were even done settling the bill between us. Lately I've been leaving really generous tips as we've been very fortunate lately, but service still has to be worthy and sweetie, you were lucky we rounded up. You were not meant to be in the service industry. **** Had a craving so ordered some take out.....ordered a spicy California roll, spicy crunch roll, a double crab and a halibut roll. Ready for pick up in 20MINUTES! 20 MINUTES!! Hell ya! The halibut and the double were our favorite! Will definitely order again! Prices were pretty amazing!
This place is Delicious! I use to go here every other week with my mom. The workers are super nice! At the end of every meal you get a fortune cookie so every if your not a fan of the food you can end your meal with a sweet treat! Although it only has 6 tables and a Bar it's still popular! Even if it's out of the way it's worth the trip
What a GREAT place. We showed up after the lunch crowd was gone. Had the place all to ourselves, just us girls! FOOD: Edamame for an appetizer that we shared. Yum! You must request soy sauce and I recommend their house made if you are watching your sodium intake. It's also delicious with a light Amber color and doesn't overwhelm your palate. Pork Ramen was fantastic and spot on. Made to order since my friend cannot tolerate spice. My other friend and I shared a Mega Dragon Roll made with cauliflower rice. I love tobiko and, even though it doesn't come with it, they added it per request...and then went above and beyond by alternating different flavored on each piece including orange, black, green and red. (The green had a hint of wasabi) I would be remiss if I didn't mention the dainty cranberry nut salads the preceded our dinner. Lovely in house ginger based dressing! We enjoyed the ambiance so much we decided to treat ourselves to an after dinner Sake Tini. Served in a champagne flute with a lime garnish. Refreshing pineapple taste. We were enjoying ourselves so much I didn't even manage a picture of them. SERVICE: Superb. She joked with us and explained things we weren't familiar with. She even gave me a nic name! "Small mouth". Very accommodating. ATMOSPHERE: Comfortable and not stuffy. Suitable for a business dinner or a casual family lunch. PRICE: Reasonable! It averaged $30 per person and there may be a couple of things we ordered that I didn't mention. 😉 SUMMARY: Can't wait to go back and they love to cater to "regulars". If they like you, you might even get a discount off your next visit. We left satiated and were very content all the way around. I have to mention the cleanliness which was exceptional. Overhead there is a thriving, CLEAN, live ivy. The Windows were spotless which is a good indicator as to the cleanliness of the kitchen. Thank You Zushi for not just a meal, but an experience.
We are from out of town, and so it was our families first time here. We were looking for good sushi….and we found it!! There isn’t much seating, but we were seated within minutes of arrival. Great friendly service, clean atmosphere. We ordered our sushi, and we’re asked if we wanted soup, and a small salad. It came w/our rolls…a pleasant surprise. The Miso soup was absolutely delicious, I wanted more lol! It was my first time having it though so I technically have nothing to compare it to. Their simple little salad was great. I had the ginger dressing. Their homemade soy sauce is absolutely delicious!! Went very well with the California Cream Cheese Roll and the Super Crunch…I believe it was called. We will definitely be back probably almost every time we come back to town. The price is so much more affordable compared to where we so that it was absolutely awesome!
Great sushi. Reasonably priced. Service was good. Only thing was that it was 62 degrees outside and when walking in, it feels very cold. It felt 15 degrees cooler inside. Not sure if there is some reason why it’s like this, but it felt like it should be a lot warmer inside there.
First time. We asked the host for a bit of an intro and he explained the menu. I really liked it, but is eel supposed to be chewy? I've always experienced it as tender like scallops. That was the Zushi Roll. Whatever my wife got was better. The avocado appetizer rocked. RETURN VISIT: I have never taken so much time to eat sushi. The Volcano Roll and the Tempura Snapper Roll were absolutely amazing. So much flavor, such great balance and vibrancy. It took an hour to eat have of each because I was just savoring every bite.
Great food, everything was tasty, fresh and tasteful.Cozy atmosphere , with a contemporary vibe, I love it.Lemon/lime infused water was a good surprizing start. Seaweed salad was very, very good. The udon bowl was absolutely delicious, super tasty, and it came with 5pc of sushi. I also loved how menu has a description of what is nigiri, what is sashimi, etc. The only downside was server's attitude. She was friendly at first, but when I asked for udon bowl, and just because I did not specify right away which one,me and my friend both got lectured by server,on how we supposed order food.Literally.Lectured.Wtf?? I did not come to a restaurant to get scolded. How hard is it to wait for 2 seconds for me to finish a sentence ,or simply ask which one I want?Plus we asked for separate receipts from the beginning , she brought one anyway. When we asked her about separate receipts again, instead of explaining that it is ok, and she will bill us on separate cards, she got all worked up and started very loudly explaining who eat what, etc.Made us uncomfortable and ruined what could have been a good experience. Nah, I don't think I would like to come back.Screw that, Sakura sushi down the road got same sushi , and has great costumer service.
Having been stationed in Okinawa for 13 years active duty and 2 years as a government civilian and 2 years in mainland Japan I know how Japanese food should taste. The Okinawan soba had no taste in the broth and the noodles were overcooked. In fact they weren't soba noodles. The gyoza was ok. With regards to the sushi/sashimi the cuts were too thick. The Wasabi wasn't spicy. The katsudon meat had no flavor and the dish wasn't properly cooked. In addition they don't sell alcohol which is a must for sashimi. To top it off our soft drinks didn't come with ice so they were lukewarm.
It was okay. I came here once just to try, and I wasn't very impressed with anything in particular. The cuts for fish were a bit thick as well(i wont complain ahout quantity though) however, the prices are a bit high for side dishes- you do get a complimentary salad and miso. Miso lacks flavor, though, so it's like drinking slightly flavored water lol. I personally think there are far better options when it comes to sashimi/sushi in AK to spend your money on, so I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you can't make the trip to Anchorage🫡
After having 3 separate birthdays wishes trampled by this place actually running out of rice (how can a sushi restaurant manage this more than once?!?). We decided to return on a whim only to get ignored by our server for nearly an hour waiting for a check (funny enough, they ran out of fried rice) while 4 of 7 tables around us all recieved more attention, recieved their orders, paid, and left the building. We were done before but threw caution to the wind on our last visit. That visit was our actual last visit. I wouldn't recommend this establishment to anyone after witnessing them falter for so long. There are plenty of other options now in the area that actually put the work into running a smooth operation. The owners should feel ashamed at their service, reliability, and attitude when called out for obvious failures.
