A wonderful spot for high tea! The wide selection of tea is impressive and the tea was delightful. The towers of food were fantastic. Each item delivered its own unique flavor, texture, and freshness. I particularly enjoyed the curry chicken sandwich, cherry-chocolate scones, and macarons. Each bite was exuberant and exciting. The service was amazing. The owners and employees were very kind and attentive. Would recommend!
Tea-riffic experience for low tea 🫖 recommend this lovely spot in a former bank. Amazing selection of teas from all over the world to choose from. The sandwiches were just the right portions and dessert options were a good variety. Scones were light and flavorful. I was most impressed by the great tea selections, friendly staff and the atmosphere.
Had a lovely tea service! Such an inviting staff and beautiful atmosphere. Extensive menu as well with delicious treats! Loved it here.
OH MY! Absolute gem! Seriously, it's a must see with the most gorgeous atmosphere, friendliest owners and staff, and literally the best food in the area. And the teas are steeped in the most pure, delicious water I've ever had. Literally tasted like I was sipping from a pristine mountain spring. The teas were so robust and flavourful and they paired perfectly with their dishes. You are letting you letting yourself down if you don't put this place at the top of your list.
Absolutely brilliant and legitimate British afternoon tea experience. The Asian food is also wonderful with incredible flavours. We had a Cream tea for one, scone was perfect! Clotted cream and jam. Served with a huge pot of quality tea. The split pea soup was such comfort soup and just like my Grans lentil soup! Highly recommend the Korean rice cake dish with boiled eggs. Incredible flavours. We had a wonderful meal and look forward to returning. I REALLY hope the owner gets the business they deserve but I would say the name may mislead many Americans into thinking it’s not a place to go for main meals? Is it British? Is it Asian? A restaurant? A tearoom? Maybe it would help to work on the identity. As it stands its almost like a British-Asian fusion tea room and restaurant (bit of a mouthful) but both cuisines done VERY well so hopefully word of mouth does a good enough job at bringing the customers. An absolute gem in Watkins Glen! 👏🏼
I got the Wednesday midday special “White Rabbit Tea Party”. 10 out of 10. I needed gluten free so I called a day ahead and they were all ready. Had eggs Benedict, a berry & rhubarb scone and mango cheesecake. Down three cups of bottomless tea.
Love this place! The ambiance is really nice with the architecture, fresh flowers, and beautiful tea sets. I’ve been twice in one week and the service was great both times. The gluten free pancakes were probably the best I’ve had. I definitely recommend this gem in Watkins Glen!
So we found this place by accident and I’m so glad we did, my husband and I were walking by trying to find another little restaurant and saw this place, it was 5 minutes to 8 and they were about to close but invited us in anyway, even though they had closed the kitchen, they brought us menus and told us what was quick and easy to make. We were just looking for a small snack and a drink, they offered blueberry buckle and an mocha espresso for me and for bill a lemonade and a vegan banana cream pie, it was absolutely delicious!!! I was blown away by the owners (husband and wife) hospitality and the food, not to mention the drinks were amazing as well, I highly recommend and insist everyone should try this place.
Nestled away like a hidden treasure, Pangea Global Teahouse is an enchanting haven that captivated my senses from the moment I stepped inside. The magical ambiance and diverse offerings made it an unforgettable experience. The tea selection at Pangea Global Teahouse was truly a celebration of flavors from around the world. From delicate floral infusions to robust and earthy blends, each cup offered a unique journey for the taste buds. Not to be outdone, the coffee options were equally impressive, catering to those seeking a rich and invigorating brew. Amidst the aromatic symphony, the atmosphere of the teahouse effortlessly whisked me away to a place of relaxation and tranquility. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, allowing me to unwind and savor each sip. Beyond the delightful beverages, the service was impeccable. Our server William greeted us with a warm smile and genuine enthusiasm, ensuring that every moment was nothing short of delightful. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Pangea Global Teahouse to all tea and coffee enthusiasts seeking a memorable and charming escape. The fusion of flavors and the welcoming atmosphere, accompanied by the friendly and courteous service, create an extraordinary teahouse experience like no other. Pangea Global Teahouse has earned a special place in my heart, and I can't wait to return to explore even m
What a lovely little tea shop. The food we had was excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the tea is fantastic. Love the fact that they use filtered water for their tea (tap water can drastically change the taste of tea). The owners were delightful and everything was very inexpensive. The menu is eclectic, having dishes from a variety of cultures, which is great fun. I would highly recommend popping in if you're the area.
Gorgeous breakfast and tea! So many options! Homeade breakfast so yummy. Terrific gluten free and vegan options. Very global menu. Loved the experience! - dragon tea excellent
Beautiful architecture, very kind service, and good prices on a wide selection of loose leaf tea. Menu that includes Asian foods like house made pork bao and Japanese stew(!) Nice to see a place like this pop up in Watkins Glen! Also a great place for holiday shopping - the owner has curated a selection of glass teapots, metal tea canisters, and other cute items based on her experiences traveling in China. Also, our Eggs Benedict came with eggs that were perfectly poached. Pay them a visit!
The service was quick and staff were very friendly but their attention to detail is what’s really amazing about this place, they even have fresh flowers at every table. We got the nutella + banana crepe and eggs benedict which were delicious. Would definitely recommend getting the dragon tears jasmine green tea too. Can’t wait to come back again !!
Wow there are so many amazing options here for tea I loved the Golden Dragon one alot it didn't even need sugar or milk 😍 Lots of Gluten free options and I had a bunch of options for dessert as well 🍰😘 Def be there again. Ps. they use an air fryer for their food so it's much better for gluten free and less oil ☺️
Such a beautiful tea house! I had a pork and veggie bao bun and miso soup - yum!! My tea was also delish. Stop by for a unique experience in Watkins Glen.

Absolutely wonderful. Loved every moment. Food was on par for price point, zero complaints. I had over medium eggs buttered toast and bacon with the lavender tea! Everyone should experience this once in their life. Carve out some time and come in for the best tea and service. Just lovely, it’s like going back in time. 🩵
We went to Pangea Global Teahouse today and were thoroughly impressed with the huge number of teas available and the variety of global brunch offerings. Gluten-free options were plentiful and clearly marked on the menu. My wife had the nikujaga stew and I had the corned beef hash and both were delicious! On top of that, the atmosphere (it is inside a former bank) was unique and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Crepes and scones and eggs Benedict are great. Freshly made from scratch hollandaise sauce …not from a packet. Cherry chocolate scones and gluten free pistachio strawberry! Coffee is great. Curry chicken salad is yummy too! I love eating on fancy China!

What a pleasant surprise to find this oasis after hiking in Watkins Glen! We had the afternoon tea set and were transported to a little village in England. Everything was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommended!

Stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. I had the hash which was prepared in a bit of an unusual manner but was still tasty. Portion sizes are small. Large tea selection and I did enjoy a pot. If "antique tea room" is your esthetic you will love it here.

The tea was terrific, I'll say that much is positive. The food however was a bit lackluster. Imagine paying $13 for an English muffin split in half with two over easy eggs with a single small piece of ham split between either half with an already-broken hollandaise sauce that primarily tastes like lemon juice with no seasoning to balance it out. I wouldn't recommend it. The service seemed very antsy at the time too. She put us off into their "Asian" tea room. There is nothing Asian about that room whatsoever. It's the Temu version of Alice in Wonderland. And that room is SO isolated from the rest of the restaurant! Any music you might faintly hear beyond the doorway is all you're going to get for any comforting ambience. The sound simply doesn't reach the room, and the amount of fluorescent lighting from the ceiling is super excessive for such a small room. It's uncomfortable in there to say the least. Sometimes, it even felt like service almost forgot about us! I really hoped this place would be a lot better than it was. Turns out it's just a cute little novelty at best with good tea. Not exactly something you can change by asking to speak with a member of management when you're there.
