This place is the ABSOLUTE best donut shop in AmericA and the employees are precious folks!
Best little donut place I've ever been too.
Not as good as the now closed Shipley's but absolutely amazing and hard to beat
Fantastic!! Great service, out standing doughnuts.
The best doughnuts and kolaches in West Monroe. And the coffee is unbelievably great.
Great place to stop in the mornings and grab a bit to eat. Baudouin kolaches are off the chain!!
Very friendly, the food is always good and reasonably priced.
I love the one on North 7th. My son and I go every weekend. They are so friendly in there. Their food is always fresh and good. I would recommend them.
Fast and friendly. The apple fritters and boudin kolaches are so good! There's a line wrapped around the building every weekend for a reason lol.
The best donuts around. I have to drive right past Haskell's to get there but its worth it. Very friendly service also!
Excellent service and quality. Made me an old fashioned with chocolate! Kids were also super pleased with the sweets and kolaches!
In my opinion best little donut shop in town. The little lady who runs the place is so sweet. The donuts are always delicious
Very friendly staff. Family owned. Love these guys. Eat here for breakfast about every other week day.
The best apple fritters in town!!
Stopped in for breakfast on the go. It was great and the staff was delightful.
We love donut palace. They are always super friendly and remember our order from previous visits.
Me and my daughter favorite place to eat in the mornings. We just love the whole atmosphere.
Great place they stay open from 5am-2pm everyday and they always give a little extra with your order
Have basically become regular customers there. We thank some of the better Donuts in area.
Favorite doughnut place in town. Real friendly service. I visit every time I am in town.
Great breakfast burritos, clean, and extremely freindly service! Nice atmosphere.
It was wonderful for my son and me. The food was excellent. The service superb. This is always our experience here. That's why we are customers of the Donut Palace.
My all time favorite place to get breakfast. They are nice and have great customer service.
Very friendly. Donuts tasted amazing, fluffy and fresh. The drive thru didn't have a speaker you just drove up and hoped they see you. The chimes on the front door hung down pretty low and I almost hit my head on them. I also did not get my receipt. However the donuts really are amazing and it more than makes up for the few things they could improve on the building! I recommend trying their donuts.
Very friendly people and the donuts are the best in town, in my opinion. Easy to get in and out of and the food is always hot and fresh. You want a good donut, kolache, etc… make a point to stop here
I'm going to make this short but meaningful. BEST donuts in town. When Shipley's went out of business, I looked everywhere.. I found my donut fix here! Just do your mouth and stomach a huge solid.. just go get the kids the donuts and have a few yourself. HAPPINESS! (One edit, they went up on their donut prices, a dozen used to be 6 to 7 dollars.. they went up to 10 a dozen.. it was a shock )
The Nth 7th location has the best donuts around. They're soft yet have a perfect little crunch when you bite into them. They're better fresh of course but they're still good even if you have leftovers the next day. The service is also great. They're as sweet as the donuts.
So friendly, and the best old-fashioned donut I’ve had in a LONG time.
Best donuts in town. Light , good, glaze and never soggy. They also wonderful warmed up later in the day. . Price point is on average and competitive. They do have a drive thru and nice folks! Coffee is average.
The food is the same mass produced breakfast food as any other doughnut store. Don't go in expecting custom hand made treats for the affordable prices they charge. What sets this place apart is the warm, welcoming atmosphere and the fast and friendly service. They know my order and are delighted to see me every time.
Wow!!!! Awesome and mouth-watering creations - old-fashioned glazed donuts, chocolate glazed, glazed donut holes w/ chocolate, apple friters and kolaches. My mouth is watering now and I'm unfortunately 6 hours away. Also, great people there who make these fabulous creations and serve you at the counter.
DEFINITELY worth the stop EVERY trip to Louisiana I AM going definitely recommend!will be back!!
Best donuts in the world best Boudin kolaches I've ever tasted in my life they have everything I want for breakfast there the burritos are slamming and the women who work here are so sweet and they are very very nice they also have a sense of humor is every morning to put two Donuts in front of a Buddha thing I don't know if it's really a religion or just a joke anyway I love the place it's my favorite place to get breakfast the only thing I can complain about is that they quit serving strawberry milk

The glazed doughnuts had a good texture but was missing half of the glaze.
Good but not nana's it stays open late not just in the morning so thats a plus
Great customer service.. tasty donuts and coffee
Friendly and tastes good. Have just never gotten any warm. The put a lot of things in the microwave and heat it for you. Kolaches and burritos
Your croissant was fluffy and airy. It was very good. Your long johns ,( eclairs ) are smaller than most other establishments. You can add the cream with a pastry bag and get rid of that taste left by the machine you use. Still not a fan of your kolaches though. Your donuts are good as well.

Over the years I have been a pretty faithful customer. In the past 5 months, I've stopped by most every morning to get one or two pigs in a blanket, which I usually pay cash for. Since I wanted coffee today and wanted to fix it myself, I went inside, order the coffee and 1 pig. Total $2.67. I am out of cash, so I give the cashier my card, which she refused to take. They have a rule the purchase must be over $3 to use a card. She wanted me to purchase something else or use cash. Truthfully, I understand that it costs the establishment money for small purchases, but I'm there almost every morning for my breakfast. Seems helping a faithful customer out would make more sense; however, that would be wrong apparently. So, when I tell her I don't have cash and I don't want to purchase anything else, she thanks me, puts my food order up and pours the coffee I had ordered back into the pot (which I know is a health code violation). It is the last time I will go there. A new place is opening closer to my house, so I'll stop there instead. Inflexible rule = one lost customer.

Donuts were good, place was an unkempt disaster.
Definetly not haskell's. When I got home to heat them up it gave them a weird taste. My kids actually spit them out and said no thank you. Won't be back.
It is usually ok, but today I was behind a car, when it drove off and I pulled to the window, I had to call them on the phone after waiting 10 minutes at the window. The food was hot but service was bad today!
I know everybody's got to make money but those donuts were not worth $7.75 for six glazed and six chocolate is just too much money for too little.
1 donut is 90 cent when it was previously 55 cents 1/2 $5.20. This ain't Krispy Kreme.
Instead of throwing away their old gross shriveled kolaches from a day they decide to keep them and serve them to the next person- hope they are satisfied with the 6$ for the only time I’m going the because that’s disrespectful service.
Claims to "now be open until 6PM" and I've been twice now around 2pm to find everything locked and no one available in the drive through window. Karma perhaps, but on National Donut Day I'd expect someone to be here to take my money... 🤷🏼♂️

Very nice personnel, but the worst donuts and coffee I have ever experienced. There was very little chocolate filling in the item I ordered, for which I was soon grateful. It was a super sweet, thin, brown colored anomalous goo, ...could have been any flavor. Along with the filling, the cake part had a chemical after taste which was hard to get rid of. The coffee was weak and not fresh ...and well, I threw that out at the first trash can. My companion had the same experience. I hope this was a one off as our conversation with the window server was charming.
1 Star. Cypress location is absolute garbage. If you enjoy a half slice of ham on your croissant you will LOVE this place. Low quality microwaved breakfast sandwiches with little to no meat. Please be hesitant when relying upon the reviews below. Many of the reviews come from friends of staff & the owner.
The N 7th Location is awesome! Always have fresh, delicious goodness! It deserves 5 stars. However, the Cypress location, can't even eat it. Donuts from tuberware? Maybe legal, but I don't want Donut Palace tuberware. I want the fresh delicious donuts you are known for. I also had the croissant from hell. It was a croissant that had "green" seasoning pounded into the egg. To add insult to injury, the entire thing was stale to the point I couldn't not forcibly cut it with the hard end of my fork. I tried to eat it and give it a chance, but it made me violently sick when I got home because my stomach couldn't handle it. Such a shame that the beloved Donut Palace I know opened a sister store that cannot even compare to it. TO ANY CUSTOMERS, IT IS WORTH IT TO DRIVE THE EXTRA MILE TO THE NORTH 7TH LOCATION.
