Never disappoints. This is such a consistently good neighborhood Italian at Westlake Promenade. Their Happy Hour is something I'm very tempted to keep to myself: Its such good value with 40% off the entire menu. Even at full price its still flgreat value as the service and quality are top notch!
Absolutely love this place. Farfalla means butterfly, which is an ideal name for this place because it is beautiful and ephemeral. There is a wonderful patio I recommend, and I always enjoy the rigatoni, linguine, chicken parmigiana, and lasagna. I recommend having a nice rosé wine with the meal and the blueberry cake and espresso for dessert. I do not recommend the tiramisu because until just recently they didn’t even used to offer it and I don’t believe it’s made in house and I only like homemade food. But I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. It is the gem. It is the star of this entire Westlake location.
The food and service here are fantastic! The staff is always welcoming, attentive, and helpful. The food is always fresh and flavorful. The place is dimly lit which is always nice for dinner time. Wine pairings are always suggested depending on what you order and those pairings never fail 👌🏼 The desserts are also scrumptious along with the Moscato they pair it with. 🤤 The cocktails are also delicious and pair well with dinner instead of the wine. Definitely one of our favorite date-night spots! I highly recommend this place!
We stopped by here for mid lunch . Loved the food loved the service love the atmosphere and loved the music that was being played. It was really pleasant experience with my daughter and my mom. Our waiter was so nice so great . Made our experience dining here a lot more pleasant , special thank to Don. Also , the restaurant was clean and nice . I always appreciate a clean restroom.
Had a wonderful time here. The food was exceptional, the waitstaff was on point and enjoyed the very relaxing ambiance. Good place for some quality Italian cuisine
Farfalla is an Italian located at the promenade in Westlake Village. It is a sibling to the other Farfalla that is located in the Loz Feliz neck of the woods. This is a nice, upscale Italian restaurant. The food is not heavy and smothered in sauce to hide the favors. The dishes are simple and elegant. Most of the food is made in-house, so you shouldn't have to worry about thawed out frozen products. The service is impeccable. They are polite, knowledgeable, and continually come by to see if you need a water refill or anything else. This is a great establishment for get-togethers, dates, meetings, or just celebrating the love of Italian cuisine. You don't have to dress too fancy. Just dress to eat happily. It's worth the visit.
Great food and absolutely fantastic service. They treat you like your family here. And not just our own waiter, but the entire wait staff. It probably helped that we went with some regulars! I got the scallops with pasta and they were seared just right - not rubbery from over-cooking. The pasta was fresh and just a little bit aldente - just the way I like it. The tiramisu was to die for. Note that this place is quite expensive, so my expectations were high.
Always have a great experience at Farfalla in Westlake Village. The food is generally very good, I enjoy the bolognese, great chicken milanese, the pizza's are always great, and the chicken marsala is a favorite. Great service and atmosphere.

We tried the following 1 Gnocchi Pesto Genovese 1 Penne Norma 1 Pennette Santino 1 Ravioli Di Ricotta 1 PZ Vegetariana When we come back to USA next time hopefully we get to visit you guys again.

I had lunch here before the holidays with a dear friend! It was excellent! Today my husband and I came for a late lunch. The service was a little slow. But, the food??? Outstanding. My husband had a chicken / mushroom dish, I had the salmon salsa dish. Amazing. Melt in your mouth. We ended with the decadent tiramisu and cappuccinos! Mind-blowing!!! Besides slow service, wow - so worth it!!!
Food was good, service was fine. Good spot for lunch. Pretty empty when I went but it was a Wednesday at noon. Beware of split plate charge. No bread until you’ve placed an order which is understandable.

We were here for a party in the patio. This service was excellent and the waiters came and serviced us quickly and efficiently. The food was hit or miss. The Capellini ala checca was spot on, but the minestrone was a bit bland and salty. Patio gets very loud when there's a lot of people but I think that's because there were two holiday parties going on
Good food! Nice people. Wine list could use some attention, but overall a great evening.

My wife and I stopped in for dessert after we had had dinner elsewhere. Had a glass of wine and a piece of cheesecake which we split. The wine was okay. The cheesecake tasted all right, but it was basically frozen. We had to use a knife and fork to cut it to begin with until it out a bit. The place was quite lively , and there were people waiting to get in. We sat at a large communal table across from the bar. The people that we sat with were very friendly and\nWe were able to see what some of them were eating. The food looked very good and they were very good portions. We would definitely go back

My fiancé and I dined here for the first time to celebrate our anniversary and homecoming from an overseas military deployment. I made a special reservation as we’re part of Resy Global Dining Members exclusive by AMEX. Regardless of that, upon arrival, the hostess did not greet us, told us to wait until she “could find a table” very rudely. Once seated in a very crammed covered outdoor area I got wet from the seat and splashing of rainwater dripping in from holes in the cover. All a while, a tall outdoor heater lamp blazing heat to one side of my face. Quite the combination. The menu was long but it didn’t have the best mesh of ingredients for Italian cuisine or more commonly found traditional dishes I’d hoped for. I eventually settled for the Chicken Marsala and my fiancé got some sort of mushroom risotto. The marsala was okay, but the risotto was terrible. The food was on par or even a step below Olive Garden, yet priced more expensively. I will say the servers that brought the food and drinks were great and attentive vs our main waiter that didn’t do much than take down our order. The ‘Italian Sangria’ was a very watered down version of red wine. The Caprese salad was good. Overall very disappointed in the food, atmosphere, and what was to be a special reservation and evening turned out to be noting but a random table with overpriced, very flavorless food, noisy, and complete washout, literally!
I was disappointed in the service today. We came in exactly at 3 for the happy hour 40% off. We were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out, there was no mention of a specific seating for happy hour. When the bill came we were informed the happy hour was only for the bar area only. I figured this was a simple mistake on their part, they could just give us the discount, and we would know for future visits. Our waitress told us there was nothing they could do. I didn’t like this because there was obviously something they could do and they just didn’t want to. In the future, if a customer comes in exactly when happy hour is starting, I would recommend there waiting staff to inform them that the happy hour discount only applys at the bar area. Also in the picture I’m adding from their instagram page, it also doesn’t make it clear that the discount is only in the bar area. The food was delicious though.
Terrible to go order. The pizza was raw definitely not well done as the receipt requests. The pasta was so overcooked that it became mush and inedible. Would have brought the food back but I was told when I ordered they would be closing is 15mins. I dealt with two hostesses. Have heard lately the quality of the food doesn't match its pricing and it really shows. Sad that a lot of places in WLV are just not as good anymore.

THEY TRIED TO SCAM US Prices on their website are not what they are in person. Yup! We looked up their menu online and went for a romantic meal. At the end we asked the server why the prices were different. He immediately got rude and defensive. He said “next time you have to pay full price.” Huh??? He was super rude about it. Then he continued to get defensive on why it was ok to charge more. This wasn’t an accident. They are aware. All 3 items we ordered the prices were wrong. Waiter said prices increased months ago. They didn’t apologize and offer to change it but instead got mad at me for mentioning it. Server also never checked on us the entire meal! We were finished eating before he talked to us. He neglected us. Food was good. Service was rude. Quality of the business is sketchy. Stay away.
Very disappointed with how they handled customer service yesterday. We went in for happy hour at 3 PM because there's a huge sign that says happy hour 40% off. We ordered a bunch of dinner items obviously hoping for the happy hour and apparently we're sitting at the wrong table 3 feet away from the happy hour table so they charged us full price. The owner happened to be there and we mentioned it to him. He was even more rude when a painful price and I did tip the usual 20% although I felt like we were totally scammed and I will never go there again.
I’ve been coming to Farfalla for years and have probably been here hundreds of times for happy hour between 3–6pm (it’s posted right on their front door). I joined friends for a quick drink, ordered my usual Aperol Spritz and an appetizer—same thing I always get during happy hour. When the bill came, everything was charged at full price. I politely pointed out the mistake, but both the waitress and manager refused to adjust it, saying I hadn’t been given a happy hour menu. That’s a ridiculous excuse, especially for a loyal customer who knows the offerings and times by heart. Really disappointing treatment. After years of giving them business, I won’t be coming back.

I’ve been to Farfalla many times as we love to support our local businesses, but this last visit was unbelievably CRAZY. We were there for a large family dinner and my cousin ordered a Caesar salad as an appetizer and bit into a screw - yes, an actual METAL SCREW in his food. Accidents happen, but what shocked me was how the situation was handled. He only received 40% off his entrée (not even the full meal) and zero apology from management. Not only was there NOT an apology, but they proclaimed that there was no way the screw could've ended up in the salad from the kitchen - basically insinuating it was not their fault - it was ours, somehow. We did get a free desert for the near death experience (which they chose) and it was also a flop. On top of that, the old Italian bartender is consistently rude and carries a bad attitude every time I’ve been there. It really sets a negative tone for the whole experience. The food itself? Honestly, 6 out of 10 at best - nothing to rave about. The only saving grace is Eddie, our usual server. He is the best! He is incredible - friendly, attentive, and professional despite the awful situation. Eddie deserves a raise and every big tip from customers because he’s (and their great happy hour lol) the only reason I’d even consider giving this place another chance.
