Highly recommend. Great place to try out many vietnamese desserts. There are so many to choose from. One of the cons is that it does not have any labels so ypu either have to ask or know what are on display. Great quality, freshly made, and especially no preservatives. It has to be either refridgerated or consumed shortly. Check it out

This is our frequent go to spot when we are in the area. my children loves the xoi man(sticky rice with chinese sausage shredded chicken). we buy a lot to bring home to San Diego. to warm it back up, flip it upside down on a plate and sprinkle a little water on it before you microwave. the water will bring it back to its natural sticky rice consistency that they love. I have been know to slice and lightly pan fried more chinese sausage for them but its good just the way it is

Another go-to place for dessert, great selection and it can be very busy. Prepare to wait a little bit if it is busy. It's difficult to park, but well worth it, although the last time we went, the prices had gone up quite a bit

Classic Vietnamese dessert place. A must visit if you are from out of town. Make sure to bring cash.

Very busy and full of many traditional items. With the limited language would perhaps be helpful to add cards with name, description and price. Great flavors but overwhelming to order and try

We love all the Vietnamese desserts here. They are all fresh made. However, i will suggest everyone to finish all the desserts the same day. It won't taste as good overnight. I personally love the orange sticky rice which was colored by some kind of unknown name fruit. The pandang sticky cake with layer of mung bean was also really great. Mung bean seasme balls were so additive. I can eat a whole bag at a time. People here do speak English, so it's easy to make orders.

Sunday 9/25/23 Desert at Thach Che Hien Khanh in Westminster with my cousin. Awesome Vietnamese deserts (Che). I love their 3 colors desert (Che ba mau) and Che Thai. So yummy and flavorful!!! Restaurant has lots of service staffs and they work fast making your customized Che. Trying to hit all the spots in my tummy after eating a unique dinner and it did it with the Che. Our first time visiting here without Google maps we don't even know this place. We mostly visit the original store. This location is great because we have no problem finding a parking space and much cleaner and stores to visit. The staff are nice, quick service and courteous. Maybe that day the cashier broke down, the staff took a while to ring up our bill. Otherwise it's fine.

Great variety of authentic Vietnamese desserts for prices way too low! Make sure you request no bag first if you bring your own, still using flimsy plastic bags, styrofoam, straws and a spoon for each and everything.

The food is amazing, not to mention the price. Everyone seem to work hard and familiar with all of the products sold there. If you are looking for an authentic vietnamese snack, this is a must. Can't recommend it high enough.

This is your definite GO TO for authentic Vietnamese desserts, hands down! I ordered the Chè Ba Màu, Chè Thái, Bánh bèo, Bánh Cam, Bánh bao, and a mung bean jello dessert. Whether savory or sweet, this restaurant has it. Parking is horrific and the lines are long, but patience is key if you want some of these sweets. Bring CASH only and brush up on your Vietnamese language. Also, you have to be a bit aggressive when ordering. Wave your hand when it’s your turn or else they will miss you and go to the next person. Overall, I wouldn’t go anywhere else for Che.

Always this place for amazing Vietnamese desserts (chè)! The staff is so friendly, even if you’re not fluent in Vietnamese. This was my regular when I lived nearby, and I still make a point to come back whenever I’m visiting family.

Be prepared, no one speaks English there. So I guess it’s an authentic Vietnamese place. But you can still order by pointing to the food lol. Not sure if it’s a CASH ONLY store, but no one use card. Food is good, a bit too sweet for me.

I’ve been a customer of this place for so many years (10+) and I am still coming back as their desserts are very flavorful and with the price, just make sure you bring some cash with you or you won’t be able to buy as they only accept cash. They use many natural ingredients on their desserts and the service is great even when some of them aren’t fluent in English and that doesn’t stop them from giving you good service.

It's a quaint Vietnamese dessert shop that's apparently popular in the community. There was a line going out the door and you can see why when you finally get inside. They have almost every sweet, sticky, and gooey desserts and treats one can think of

My favorite Vietnamese dessert store. Everything taste amazing. Wish I could eat everything, every time I visit. The line kind of sucks. If you go in peak hours, be prepared to wait. It’s worth the wait for sure. The workers there are nice and do their best to keep the line moving but the nature of the business limits movement due to indecisive people taking longer than needed. It is a to go restaurant, not a sit down.

A haven for Vietnamese desserts. We were looking for this spot in the endless row of shopping centers when we noticed a huge like out the door and knew we found our place. We ordered a #5 drink and got some insight from a Vietnamese gentleman while on line and it was semi sweet coconut milk deliciousness. I appreciate most Vietnamese desserts incorporate some sort of coconut milk and pandan and since I love both, I can’t go wrong. There are no English menu’s and no labels as to what anything is. There is also a language barrier but we made it work. I wasn’t able to get explanations as to what all the colorful desserts are but I’m sure I’ll try them all over time and fill in the gaps of my own knowledge. Super authentic viet desserts!!

In the same plaza as T&K Market, this dessert shop always had a long time extending out the door. We finally had a chance to try it when a friend took us there. Not speaking the language nor familiar with the Vietnamese desserts, we observed which ones were the most purchased items and followed suit. We grabbed quite a variety of different items despite not knowing the names/ingredients. That was quite an adventure, and the gamble paid off. Everything tasted delicious! There were rice cake stuff, che, sweet rice, and much more! Service is typical as expected in any Asian shop. It's a cash only, to go place, so the décor is nothing fancy. They have a lot of variety of desserts, so either bring a big appetite or few friends to share the treats. Line is ridiculously long, but the good/authentic desserts are worth the wait. If you don't speak the language, just point to what looks good to you. Glad to find this dessert shop.

Good desserts/food. They need to put a BIG sign on the window as "CASH ONLY". We don't carry cash around like others. We use credit cards, paid by phone and ATM. We had to running around looking for an ATM to get cash, such an inconvenience!

This place has the most authentic Vietnamese chè/dessert that you can ever get anywhere! And definitely a dream for people that have a sweet tooth. We came here because every single person we met recommended this place, and they were not wrong. They have a wide selection of different types of chè, so we had to try many of them. All items that we chose were really good and well-balanced with the sweetness. The coconut milk that comes with chè was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend khoai mì chà bông, bánh bò, cốm dẹp, khoai mì sợi. My family members also loved other chè that they have. We like these so much that we had to come back for a second time the last day of our trip. The only thing is their wait time could be very long, and there will always be a long line here. And also, they only take cash so come prepared! I definitely recommend this place and will be back whenever I’m in California.

The foods are good as usual… As we don't go to this place often so we don't know much about the prices… there is NO prices of items listed anywhere in the store, no receipt so you have to believe what they tell you to pay. Make sure open the bag(s) check and count the items to make sure they DONT forget any thing. We hope our unfortunate experience is isolated. There was no apology nor replacement offered.

We went here to get the deep fried banana. There is always a huge line of people here and this must be an indicator that the deserts here are good. I am not that familiar with Che. I wish I was. There is a huge variety to chose from. So many textures and colors we are not accustomed to. Service is ok and I got 4 pieces of the fried banana for $2.00 . each piece is half a banana. Price is therefore very cheap. It tasted OK, but they sit out for a long time. Subtle flavors indicate there is much more to this than just battering it and frying it. Perhaps if it were fresh it would be a lot better. With a scoop of vanilla ice cream and if i t were hot it would be awesome. They didn't use ripe bananas which was good so it was not overly sweet.

No seating with numerous dessert options. Just too sweet for my taste.

My sis bought a bunch of desserts chè and sticky rice to try. My sister like the cơm rượu here. Their banana, casava ball , and coconut cream was good. Their steam banana and cococo nut cream was also good. The banana was sweet and tender. I would come back for these 3 things. The mungbean sticky rice was alright. but the unnatural yellow color was a turn off. Their corn dessert was ok. Not a lot of corn, mostly sticky rice. The coconut cream here is just alright, too much flour The bánh tằm khoai mì was not good. Not much casava, too much flour, and no pandan flavor just food coloring. The only good here is the ground sesame topping. I would recommend them to use real pandan flavor. That's what the good about Vietnamese dessert. Make quality stuff and increase the price is fine. Stop using or use less food coloring please , it's such a turn off. I can see myself come back for a few items and avoid anything with colors.

T
TaxPro

Tri-color dessert was lacking in mung beans, since it had mainly white beans (65%) and red beans (25%), there were barely any mung beans in it. Not the best nor the worse, but certainly lacking in the overall flavor and profile.

Extremely low standards for working conditions. The poor employees had to work in a no air conditioning small room in above 90 degrees weather outside. I bought “khoai mì” and “bánh dầy đậu.” Both had to be thrown away because the coconut and the mung beans were spoiled as the result of being left out on the counter in such a HOT room

Their dessert tastes good but they’re not cheap. They don’t have any inside seating, no restroom… for the price paying isn’t good deal.

Long line, but disorganized and no direction on where to line up. We bought the green dessert with mung bean paste inside, instead of grabbing it from inside the glass showcase, the lady just grabbed one out of nowhere from the back. We tasted it and the mung bean filling tasted sour inside, we had to throw it away. They did this to us perhaps we don't speak Vietnamese.

The Bánh Tằm Khoai Mì was vibrant in color, but wasn’t too much of a fan of the texture. The dessert itself was made with absolutely no cassava, but only tapioca batter that’s steamed.

This establishment and its sibling under the same name on Westminster Ave do not give paper receipts to customers. The amount due is always calculated mentally by the salesperson. Businesses like these are the reason Westminster residents have to pay the highest sales tax rate in the county (9.25%} to cover for the lack of revenue of the city due to tax evasion. All customers should start asking for a paper receipt for their transaction when coming here.

We went here last night because the one in TK market was closed. If that was opened we never gone here. My wife bought few items..Xoi dau phong..she asked if the xoi is dried, the server said no..when we arrived home. My wife opened and realized the xoi was dried. She was disappointed since she was lied to. Never go back to this place. If you noticed when other che stores always sold out except this one...wonder why...

This is as authentic as Vietnamese desserts chè can get. There’s always a line but it moves pretty fast. This is an update review. We bought casava khoai mì around 10 am and it was already spoiled when we brought it home. This isn’t the first time it happened to us.

Very bad experience. Paid $12 for both a small drink and 4 oz tofu?? The drink was 70% full and tofu was small…I also didn’t speak Vietnamese so not sure if they’re up charging because of that. Overall, don’t go here, go to the other store of the same name
