Mezze Bistro + Bar

Had a fabulous dinner with 12 other ladies here about a week and a half ago! All of our dishes were incredible and our server couldn’t have been sweeter. Super mindful about two tree nut allergies at the table too! Would highly recommend.

We had a top-notch experience at Mezze. With a party of four we were able to all select completely different dishes, which added to a fun tasting experience. The staff is friendly, and the service is efficient. We sat in one of the quieter rooms and had a great view.

Such a beautiful peaceful place to enjoy a wonderful dinner. Excellent food with wonderful options and the best French pressed coffee.

Absolutely outstanding in every aspect! The flavors were exquisite; the olive oil alone was incredibly delicious, not to mention all our courses. Huge compliments to the chef! The ambiance was delightful as well, with ample windows that filled the room with natural light and brought in the lovely surroundings. The service was impeccable; the staff was knowledgeable and passionate, offering great suggestions and attention to detail. We cannot wait to visit again soon!

Wonderful new additions on the February prefixed 3 course menu featuring Italian inspired dishes. Nick and Kevin, the chefs, do a fantastic job. Amanda, our server, was patient with our questions and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. Each course was an experience of delicious flavors. I highly recommend a visit to Mezze

Amazing experience… from walking in the door and being greeted by the very friendly staff, to one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Chef Kevin is a master of serving unbelievable dishes that look as good as they taste . His creativity is off the charts. The team at Mezze were perfection, so kind so helpful and so efficient. We look forward to our next visit. Hopefully that will be soon .

Mezze was a lovely surprise for us as we went out to western mass with no expectations. We love pretentious food, we love cheap fast food, we love bar food, but we did not expect delicious interesting novel food in western mass. Mezze was a lovely cherry on top for the day. It wasn’t hard to get a table and the pricing was gorgeous. Mezze comes off as a farm to table esque restaurant where the servers know where ingredients are sourced, the ingredients are fresh and seasonal, and a bunch of herbs are just growing outside. I had their fish while my partner had their steak. Both were super well seasoned and have novel flavour pairings that weren’t classic or dated. The bread and olive oil was super delicious. Across the menu it felt like the perfect portion sizing and balance. The techniques used weren’t crazy. It was just simple yummy food that highlighted the fresh ingredients. There’s also a lovely pond outside that just adds to the quaint ambiance. My time at Mezze was memorable and frankly outshined expensive steakhouses I’ve been to in the city. Definitely would recommend and go again.

We've passed this restaurant many times in our four years of living in Bennington, VT and tonight was our first time dining here. It definitely won't be our last! The restaurant is nice, clean, and quiet with a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and polite. The menu was troublesome in that it was difficult to choose from the delicious sounding dishes! Plus the wine list had some terrific offerings! We settled on the Chave Mon Couer Cotes-du-Rhone and were not disappointed. It had a fantastic balance of fruit, acidity, and tannins! For starters we shared both the Cauliflower Soup and the Carrot Tacos. Both were really good, but the soup was my absolute favorite of the evening! For our entrees, I had the Steak Frites (hell yes!) And Tom had the Garganelli. Both were wonderful! To top off the meal we shared the delicious Apple Streudel. The entire meal was very memorable, and I'm looking forward to another meal there!

Small menu of well-prepared seasonal dishes. All of the plates were good and some, like the sriracha chickpeas, chicken, and quark tart, were outstanding! The wine selection was robust and the staff was upbeat and knowledgeable. Mezze is worth a visit!
