Amazing experience, with incredible customer service we had the best server Philip! it was such a beautifully decorated restaurant with delicious food and drinks. I brought my daughter and the environment wasn’t loud to where so couldn’t nap or play and we had lot of space for her to feel comfortable and enjoy herself as well. We will definitely be coming back again!
So excited for this new addition in Hamlin!! We were blown away from the moment we stepped on the patio. It is such a vibe!! Being a new restaurant we were blown away at how well they were operating already. Our server, Kristy, was amazing - Both personable and efficient. Food is super high-quality and authentic. We met the AGM, Daniel, who was also wonderful. Can’t wait to go back over and over again!!
My service was awesome! The server was nice and talked me through the menu and answered any questions I had, the person who gave me the food was Shea, she made sure that my table was cleared of empty plates after she set the food down and when I asked for silverware and an extra plate she got it for me with no hesitation with a huge smile on her face. She was very welcoming and I loved her energy! Very nice to talk to. Food overall was pretty good as well and will definitely be back!
From the very beginning, María made us feel right at home. Her service was absolutely flawless warm, genuine, and full of great energy. She struck up fun conversation, stayed attentive the entire time, and never missed a single detail (even when we got a little picky 🙈). 👉🏻 We went with her recommendations for the best dishes on the menu, and she absolutely nailed it … everyone at our table loved their food. And if you go, do yourself a favor: order the Espresso Martini with reposado tequila… trust me, it’s unforgettable & fuego drink 🍸👌
Agave Bandido has done it again with their stunning new location at Hamlin Groves! I’m incredibly proud to see the Agave Bandido family of restaurants continue to grow and evolve. Each new opening raises the bar and this one is no exception. The venue is not only beautiful and dynamic, but it’s also perfectly situated, making it an ideal spot to hang out or celebrate special occasions. The drinks are top-notch, make sure to try el fueguito and their spicy avocado margarita. The menu is fresh, creative, and full of delicious surprises, the carne asada tacos, and the tostones con chicharrón were among my favorite dishes, my compliments to the chef. The staff is attentive, friendly, and courteous. Daniel, and Cara made sure to make our experience extra special. Also, don’t miss their Maya speakeasy, it’s sure to be the talk of the town!
Fast service! We loved sitting outside under the covered lanai with fans. Music is kind of loud inside and we enjoy the fresh air. Fajitas were cooked perfectly medium rare to medium and the drink was delicious! I'm not sure what it was since my husband ordered it while I was away from the table.
We always have an excellent experience at Agave Bandido. Whether it’s celebrating a birthday or just out to enjoy great food, we always leave happy. The food is consistently delicious (the quesadillas are killer), and the environment is upbeat and perfect for any occasion. We’ve had Drew as our server several times, and he always provides the best service. Super responsive, engaging, and he elevates our experience every time. We’ll definitely be back soon!
Joey was a great server and added his own personality to the experience! Love the attention to detail and friendly service he gave. Not only was he great, but the rest of the crew was quick to clear tables and run food. Felt like they’d been open for a while. Beautiful atmosphere and plenty of seating! Food was great!
We went to the Agave Bandido and the Maya Speakeasy with friends! Food was excellent and service was quick. We loved the food and thought it was the best Mexican we have had in a while. The place was packed and you will need reservations to both the restaurant and speakeasy. If I had to complain about anything it would be that it was loud in both places. They have outdoor covered seating but when we were there it was too muggy to consider. We would definitely go again!
Visited here twice it was that good. Uber cool place to visit. The decor is really cool. Menu is authentic and the food was on point. The margaritas were unreal too. Would highly recommend. Staff were all lovely too. The building looks unreal lit up at night!
We came to Agave Bandido on a whim tonight. We loved everything about our dinner! Our server Isa S was super attentive! She made sure that our drinks and food were served quickly. The table side guacamole 🥑 was made to order. We plan on coming again! Thanks again Isa S for such good service.
Brandon and his team at Agave Bandito delivered big time. The service was on point, the vibe was great, and everything they brought to the table was dialed in. They’re organized, professional, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. From start to finish, the experience was smooth — quick communication, zero hassle, and a team that actually follows through. If you want a crew that shows up, handles business, and gets it right the first time, Brandon and his team at Agave Bandito are the ones to trust.
Great food and great service. The ambiance was chill and vibrant from the decor to the music. The food and drinks were flavorful with attention to every detail. When I needed a menu item modified the server and kitchen staff made it happen. Thank you to Isabella Sanchez for making our first visit a great experience. She was attentive, friendly and inviting. Overall it was an amazing experience and we will be back again.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 — A Must-Visit Spot in Orlando! Let me just say… Agave Bandido blew me away! After a long, uneventful, and honestly draining day, Cheryl absolutely turned everything around. Her service was top notch — warm, kind, super friendly, and full of positive energy. She really lifted our spirits and made dinner feel like a celebration. If you’re lucky enough to get her as your server, you’re in for a great night! Now let’s talk about the food — the flavor and presentation were chef’s kiss. Everything we ordered was packed with taste. And the price? I still can’t believe we got two drinks, two entrées, and an appetizer for under $80. That kind of value is nearly impossible to find, especially with food this good and really decent portions! Disney Cast Members — fingers crossed they offer a CM discount soon (hint hint, wink wink)! Because I already know I’ll be back… probably with half my friends in tow. PSPSPSP… the speakeasy?! OMG 😱 That was such a cool surprise — I won’t spoil it, but it’s definitely worth checking out. Overall, a 10/10 experience. I’ll absolutely be back, and I 100% recommend it if you’re looking for delicious food, great vibes, and amazing service. 💃🌮🍹 Last visit we just had amazing service at the bar from Brynn, definitely once again will be back!
The layout and design is beautiful! Every person we interacted with was very nice!! The food was great, came out quick! Will definitely be back, happy to have a restaurant like this in Hamlin!
First time here and wow, this place is amazing! The entire design, style, aesthetics are so gorgeous but.... But wait until you see the speakeasy. No words. I also wanted to say thank you so much to their new bartender Shan, who not only made me my first Casa Azul margarita, but also made me the best I've had. Period. Will definitely make this my 2 visits per month Hamlin trips
Very good Mexican food. Service was top notch, even the bar tender came by to check on drink satisfaction. A lot of options. churrasco chimichurri was recommended by the waiter and he was not wrong.
We had an incredible experience tonight. From the moment we sat down, the manager, Joey, and our server, Isa S., made us feel completely taken care of. Their attention to detail was unreal. They were meeting needs before we even realized we had them. It felt like being welcomed into a family. The food and drinks were absolutely outstanding. I ordered the smoked Fueguito Margarita with Ghost tequila, strawberry, mango, agave and fresh lime. The presentation alone was worth it. It arrived in a covered glass filled with smoke, and the flavor was unreal. We also tried the flaming Churrito shots, which were a fun spicy surprise. Most of our night was spent sampling tequilas and appetizers, and everything was fantastic. The atmosphere outside was beautiful, especially with the prominent fire feature that made the whole space feel warm and inviting. Between the great conversation with the staff, the lively atmosphere, and the fantastic food and drinks, we had a truly memorable time. Highly recommend, and huge thanks to the manager, Joey, and Isa S. for making the night truly special.
So glad to we checked out this new spot in Hamlin! Great atmosphere and vibes, and the food is fantastic. All dishes were fresh, and the food was well presented. Loved the table side guacamole. Margaritas were tasty. Drew took great care of us, and Daniel stopped by a few times to ensure our satisfaction. Make an effort to visit - you’ll be happy you did!
This is a nice place to spend time with family or friends, very well decorated, very clean. I would have preferred authentic Mexican food. Personally, I'm not a big fan of Tex-Mex, especially not that particular flavor, but if you like Tex-Mex, this is a good place for you. The customer service was excellent; I have no complaints. Keep it up, guys!
Beautiful restaurant inside and out. Host and other staff were very nice. However there was a Chick-fil-A cup at the hostess stan right as you walk in. That just made me laugh. Our server Karim was very nice. He gave us time to look over the menu and order the items we desired. The food came out hot and fresh. Everything was delicious.
Sat at the end of the bar during a busy Valentine’s Day. Manager Joey is the best guy, walking around picking up dishes around dining room, taking orders at the bar, keeping it lively at the bar even with the little interactions I could see at the end of bar here. Ari on the service bar was just crushing it, vibing to the music and cranking out drinks. Been a few times and had to post a review this go. Bar team was great all around with Landon and Carla and a lady from Sarasota but Joey and Ari were next level. Epic artwork on the street side too. Pictured is the spicy refreshing drink Ari made me to finish up!
Extremely unique and detailed atmosphere, decorations, and ambiance. The food quality and presentation was top notch, as was the service at all levels. This place is 100% recommend. Service and quality continue to be excellent. My family with young children are now regulars. Wife is crazy for this place. Server Joey on 10/3 was a Rockstar. Top notch service
Modern Mexican eatery with eclectic style and well prepared food. Vibrant decorations adorn the patio and dining room adding ambiance that fits the images inspired by the name Agave Bandido. We arrived with a reservation and were seated quickly in the dining room. Our server was attentive & knowledgeable. The Chimichurri Churrasco was well prepared and delicious. The steak chimichanga was more impressive than other Mexican restaurants. The fajitas portion fit the price tag. Overall great experience, one of Hamlins best.
Great Time and Great experience! Our food was great ! We ate vegetarians and the options were great and delicious!! The friendliest staff and our server is great !!! Kudos to Michelle !!! She was very informative! Asked if we had food allergies , brought us a heaping of Chips and Salsa !!! Very attentive and nice ! Thanks for a great meal experience
Sometimes I feel like Mexican food all tastes the same. Not here. Everything had its own unique kick. The grilled avocado salad was fantastic! Update: you can eat by the fire and it is marvelous. Also, Tariq is the best served on the planet!
first time here for birthday celebration and it was outstanding, bartender has skills, great variety of flavors, food is Delish, great service. would definitely go back. outside seating available
5 Stars – A New Favorite for Mexican in Winter Garden! We had an amazing experience at Agave Bendito! From start to finish, everything was spot on. Our server, “T,” was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. The drinks were absolutely incredible—unique, creative, and perfectly balanced. The food was just as impressive: fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. You can really tell they care about quality here. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun and delicious spot in Winter Garden!
I absolutely love this place! It's always fun! The staff is so friendly and service is fast. The food and drinks are so good. I crave it! Thank you for being fun, delicious and overall a great place!

First time visit for me. Excellent, covered, large, outdoor dining. Easy in/out parking. Natalia was an excellent wait/host staff. Attentive, informative and shared suggestions and recommendations. Food, ambience, server all convinced me to come back again. I’m a three strikes person and unforgiving if you strike out. THIS was an excellent experience.
Had dinner here for the for time tonight and everything was amazing! The food, atmosphere, the staff, everything! I have to give a special thanks to the most amazing server, Cara. She was freaking amesome!! So cute, so sweet, so attentive, literally amazing all around! I had to tell two managers about her, because yes, she was that good. Cara, thanks for taking such great care of my friends and myself tonight. We will definitely be back and will ask for you!

The outside seating area is beautiful. The service is amazing. The carnitas tacos were delicious. They were flavorful and fresh. Beautiful fire pit area, great parking, great drinks. Mango margaritas were great because they were plentiful and delicious. Over all the atmosphere and service receive 5 🌟
Our family ate lunch here. The food was okay but we found the meats in the burritos, chimichanga, enchilada to be dry and the beef a bit tough. Salsa served with chips had an ingredient that left what looked like threads or strings in it. The chips were warm and seasoned. The wait staff was attentive and nice. My wheelchair was able to manage well. The booths are all lifted and requires you to step up. The menu is a bit dark and has a smaller print. Music playing was a bit too loud so you had to speak very loudly to be heard across the table which made for a loud experience. Bathrooms had an accessibility stall with a changing table and sink, although the inner door handle was a handle made of chain and ungainly to open. The only truly overwhelming smell was the fajita being served hot and smoking. A lot of skulls in the decor. Outdoor seating, Full bar with TV.
I visited Agave Bandido last Saturday. I tried making a reservation online, but there were no available time slots. Since it was their opening week, I figured it would be packed and it definitely was. I arrived a bit early to try to get a table, and while we waited at the bar, we decided to try some of their signature drinks. Even with the high demand, the bartenders were super attentive, and every drink we ordered was excellent, well-balanced and beautifully presented. Once we got seated, the table service was quick and friendly. The only downside was the food, which didn’t quite meet our expectations. If you’re planning to visit, I recommend booking in advance or being ready to wait. Overall, Agave Bandido is a great spot for a hangout with friends or a casual happy hour, lively atmosphere, great drinks, and welcoming service.
Great atmosphere and drinks were just right- not too strong or watered down. The chips and salsa were good. The place is new so still needs some tweaking. Music was loud but not too loud so you could talk at a table normally. I will need to go back and try the food again when they have been open longer. We were disappointed that the food did not have more flavor. It was all very muted. Best dish we had was the carnitas. The chicken breast they cut in half making it dry and hard. I would have preferred one thicker juicy piece than two tough pieces. Because of the friendly staff, central location and great atmosphere, I will be going back next month and hope to be able to update the review.

The speakeasy was very nice and a great spot for a cocktail. The restaurant itself was nice and the food was delicious. Our waiter was great and gave really good recommendations on wjat to order. If there was one thing I would change is the two individuals working at the hostess stand who were rude and seemed annoyed with all the people wanting to be seated. It's not what you what to encounter as your first impression when visiting. I definitely will be back and recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

New “Mexican” like restaurant in Winter Garden. Beautiful location with large open patio and also large air conditioning interior. Nice decoration. The service ( thanks Sasha our server ) was exceptional, friendly, accommodating, fast, and perfect. Good line of Tequilas and some Mexican beers. Some good libations. Chips and salsa were very good and non stop coming. Not seen in many restaurants. The food was “ok”. Appetizers lack flavor if not is with the sauce you have to add. And the sauce repeats in most plates. All plates with hot spice. Even the black beans. Chicken and steaks are flat. Well cooked, nice meats, but flat. Again with same sauce. Chunks of difficult to bite chicken in chimichangas which are huge but mostly filled with rice. Tacos have nothing fancy on them. On top you cannot hear what your neighbor is telling you because of how loud the music was. By the way they should add some Mexican songs. It’s not cheap. On summary: They have to slightly reinvent themselves in the food to survive the area.
This is a new spot for us and seeing aocial media posts, made me excited to visit with family and friends. I made reservations and sat in the patio area and I must say the space is beautiful inside and out. The chips and salsa are complementary to the table. We ordered the Chicharron Tostones appetizer and it was good, but the Chicharron could’ve used more flavor. We ordered the Carne asada tacos and be Carbon chicken and the chicken enchiladas. The tacos were good. The carbon chicken was fine, but probably needed to be cookedlonger as some parts were thick and chewy, and the chicken enchiladas were not my favorite. We shared all of our plates to get an idea of how the food is but we all agreed we didnt enjoy our plates. We were also told that all the cooks are American and this is a Mexican restaurant... I get it that sometimes you know most places are diverse, but for the food to be definitely lacking thay Mexican flavor for a Mexican restaurant, is disappointing. I also noticed a few tables including ours leaving alot of food left over. I would definitley reccommendthis place for drinks and atmosphere only.
We noticed the detailed décor immediately, and the atmosphere made us excited for dinner. Once we were seated, the AGM, Shannon, asked how we were doing, if we had any questions, or if there were any requests. Our server, Nico, was also fast, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered the elote street corn, chips and salsa, and churrasco empanadas for appetizers. Each dish was filled with mouthwatering flavor, and every bite reflected a different ingredient. We paired them with tropicoco martinis, strawberry, and mango margaritas. The drinks were fruity and refreshing. Unfortunately, the excitement fizzled out on some of the main courses. The steak quesadilla was delicious, but the rice in the adobo chicken burrito chimichanga overpowered the other ingredients. We had an order of the combo tacos, but they both tasted the same. The Disney fireworks could be seen from the outside seating area. We will definitely return but will try other mains.
I was excited to try this place, we kept hearing people talk about it. It's a beautiful restaurant, the staff was nice and took care of us. Unfortunately the food wasn't excellent, it was good. The chips and salsa was good, (FYI) very mild salsa. However what we chose, via server recommendations for the "most flavorful" items and it fell short. Many people enjoy this place, especially being new and it has a great atmosphere, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the indoor/outdoor bar experience. Glad we got to experience it, but unlikely we will return.

I’ve been to Agave Bandito at Hamlin Winter Garden several times, and honestly, the food has never wowed me. It’s been consistently meh, and this visit was no exception. The beans were especially bad (see photo) and looked unappetizing, on top of that the rice came out cold, which pretty much summed up the experience. The food quality is very hit or miss, and more often than not, it misses. Nothing tastes particularly fresh or well prepared, and it’s disappointing every time I give it another chance. The service was okay, the staff was polite and did their job, but decent service doesn’t make up for food that’s underwhelming. Overall, I wasn’t satisfied and don’t see myself coming back unless there’s a noticeable improvement in food quality.
I visited this restaurant on Father’s Day, and while I had high hopes, the experience was a huge letdown. The place is stunning—the decor is gorgeous, the ambiance is cozy, and I’d give it 5 stars for that, a solid 10/10. But everything else was a disaster. We went as a family, knowing it would be a busy day, and I’m pretty patient on occasions like this. We made a reservation and were seated in about 10 minutes, which was great. Everything seemed perfect at first. Then it all went downhill. We waited 30 minutes without anyone coming to our table; a couple seated next to us left because they were ignored too. My wife had to go to the front desk to ask for service. The staff was friendly, and the manager, Carlos, was understanding about our frustration, but it’s clear they weren’t prepared for a busy day like Father’s Day. The food was a major disappointment. I ordered the Birras Tacos ($17 for two tiny tacos), and the presentation was awful (see the photo). One taco didn’t even have protein. The flavor was a 5/10—edible, but not worth the price. The Pollo al Carbón had decent presentation (7/10), but the chicken was dry and flavorless (5/10). The sides saved it a bit, and the charcoal flavor was nice, but I had to ask for salt and black pepper to give it some life. The Fajitas (chicken and beef) were another mess: the chicken was dry and tough, the beef bland, and the veggies were overcooked but tasty. Worst of all, they never brought the full sides. We asked for corn tortillas and got flour ones instead, with only rice—everything else was missing. My kids, thankfully, enjoyed their hamburger and chicken quesadilla, which they said were good. The drinks were the highlight. The Spicy Margarita (9/10) was delicious, a real bright spot while waiting for food, which took over 45 minutes. My wife ordered a Piña Colada (6/10 for her, 8.5/10 for me). She found it small and underwhelming compared to her favorite at Agave Azul, but I enjoyed it—maybe because I needed to drown my frustrations, lol. The restaurant has potential, the prices are fair, and the place is amazing, but they desperately need more staff. I don’t know if it was just a bad day or if it’s always like this, but this was my worst restaurant experience ever. We love Mexican food, and this is our local spot, but for now, we’ll stick with Agave Azul. I hope they improve because I had high expectations.
We came to celebrate Fathers Day and had a reservation. Once seated we were told there was a minimum of a 50 minute wait for food because of a ticketing mix up in the kitchen. The staff were very friendly and what we did receive was very tasty but none of our entrees arrived in 2.5 hours so we left. I also received 11 insect bites so I hope they do something about bug control for the outside seating area and the fans were insufficient for Florida heat. We will try it again because I do think the food might be good here and I’ll amend this review accordingly.
Absolutely horrible and beyond disrespectful experience at Agave Bandido. We walked in at 6:45 PM with two families — 9 of us total (4 adults and 5 kids) — after a day at Urban Air celebrating my niece’s 9th birthday. We were excited and just wanted to sit down somewhere nice to finish the night, but the store manager, Jeff, couldn’t even bother to greet us like human beings. He just stared and asked how many. The second we said 9, he instantly said they were “not taking any parties” with a cold attitude and zero professionalism. What made it even worse is that the restaurant was barely busy, so I knew space wasn’t the issue. We politely tried to compromise and asked if we could sit at separate tables since we were TWO different families, and Jeff immediately shut that down too. No explanation, no effort to help just straight out dismissive behavior. If you’re supposedly not seating people, why keep the doors open? After we asked to just sit us at different tables since we were TWO different families. We then we watched other larger families walk in after us and get seated without a problem. At that point it honestly felt like we were being discriminated. I’ve worked in restaurants and customer service, and this was some of the worst management I’ve ever witnessed. We left and went across the street to Ford’s Garage, where we were treated with basic respect something Agave clearly lacks. While at Ford’s, I called Agave pretending to make a reservation, and suddenly Jeff had NO issue offering one immediately. That right there confirmed it for us. After dinner at Fords I went back because I plan on contacting the owner. Joey greeted us and I explained the situation, he was very understanding, and even acknowledged that the situation with JEFF came across as discriminatory. Joey handled things the right way. Jeff, on the other hand, should not be representing Agave Bandido at all. His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. No paying customers deserves to feel like an inconvenience the second they walk through your doors. Agave, seriously needs to rethink who they have representing their brand, Do better.
