Had this fantastic Ruben sandwich while having lunch with the hubs. The staff greeted us as we entered and was attentive. My Ruben was delicious. Got a couple kids meal PBJs to go.

The sandwiches are always made how I like them. I enjoy the free cookie that comes with each sandwich. I’m never had a problem with this location, staff is always attentive and helpful. They even gave my son a sticker while he was crying. I will definitely continue coming to this Mr Pickles.
The lady who was helping me was very helpful! It was my first time here and gave me good recommendation. If I’m ever in town I will have to come here again.
Sandwich was delicious and service was great! There was no line at noon and they even threw in a cookie for me. I'll be back :)
The new owner seems to be making fantastic changes. This location used to suck...Menus are all upgraded and the customer service is WAY BETTER!! I order online for my lunch breaks normally and my food is always ready on time. When I go and order in person, I hardly have to wait at all unless there is a line of people. The employees are much friendlier and have great customer service skills. Definitely will frequent this location more often now that there is someone else in charge.
Ordered online for a big lunch and Aceri was so helpful - she called to double check the order and called back to add on extra sandwiches. Really nice and great service!
As somewhat of a sandwich connoisseur, I was very impressed with this Pickles. Generous portions, friendly service. The owner was there working today n even took the time to bring out our sandwiches. Mine, the Big Jake, was absolutely great.
The sandwiches have been full, full of flavor, and big if you want, and smaller if you don't, they are really made to order. Deli style with soup or salads. I had mine with tea. I like the wheat bread as well. Humble opinion. The staff is friendly as the store is clean, you can't ask for more than that... oh wait, I also got a free cookie, I guess you can.

Good sandwich. Super overpriced for what it is. Even considering how expensive everything is anymore. Service can be hit or miss. Play set to go order 45 minutes before closing and could hear employees complaining about getting out on time

Love your sandwiches. Good service. Unfortunately y’all left deli paper in my sandwich. You could harm someone like this.

I ordered a sandwich tonight on the Dutch Crust bread. That is not my normal choice. When I got home and started to eat my sandwich, the bread was so dried out and hard I could barely bite into it. I called the store to let them know how bad the bread was and told them they should throw out any they had left. All I got from the girl on the phone was “I’m sorry”. $10.00+ sandwich. I had to pick the meat & cheese off and throw the bread away.
I’ve been going to Mr. Pickle’s forever — it’s easily my favorite sandwich shop. However, I recently had a strange experience when I tried to order a salad with the same meats that go into the Italian sandwich. Since I didn’t see that option on the menu, I tried to explain that I just wanted a salad version of the Italian — basically lettuce, the Italian meats, and some typical salad toppings like tomato and avocado. During the conversation with the lady making sandwiches, she asked if I wanted “the works,” which includes mayo and mustard. I mentioned that I was confused why that would go in a salad, and we went back and forth as I tried to clarify what I wanted. The conversation started to feel more combative than helpful, and I ended up leaving out of frustration. This honestly surprised me, because I’ve never had a bad experience here before — this is the only time anything like this has happened. I still love this place and their food, but a little more patience and communication from the staff would go a long way. Sometimes customers just need a bit of understanding when trying to order something slightly different.
I like their sandwiches but Woodland location have issues and their customer service sucks!! The top 3 issues that they can't fix and need a rehaul are (1) Only open til 4pm on Saturdays. (2) If a customer orders three sandwiches, all of the employees help that one customer instead of helping the next customer. (3) Lack of supplies such as bread and cheese. Bread not baked until the bin is bare and don't like bringing cheese from the back. Update: The last time I made a review was 7 years ago and since then, I have been coming to this location sporadically for a while. Always see new faces, see great employees go away but you can always count on the manager at the Woodland location. I do have to say, they are always busy, but when they are overwhelmed, the team still tries to make great sandwiches. Unless you get the runt of the litter. I just have to remember, not everyone is perfect but they try. They always try to make it right. Unfortunately the only pet peeve I have with Mr. Pickles is their new online ordering system.
They have a good tri tip sandwich. That's all
Food was solid and service was great. Just overpriced. You can get better at Jersey Mike's.

Used to love coming here, customer service has suffered significantly, of it even exist anymore. Was in just after 11am 11/22: No greeting, didn't feel welcomed at all; basically "what do you want? That'll be $30" and tossed my sandwiches on the counter after they were made, lucky I'm nice and always leave a tip. The cookies are still good, but look really sad and pathetic now. This visit probably ended Mr. Pickles for me, doubt I'll ever be back. Mike's is pretty tasty and much better service and atmosphere. Sorry!

Very overpriced, there are better options at better price points. Ingredients did not taste fresh. They got my order wrong despite asking me four times what type of bread I wanted. Not sure if the employee making my sandwiches was having a bad day but they clearly did not want to be there.
Firstly, this was my first and last time I would ever order from here. I was in the area and noticed the name Mr. Pickles, so i decided to stop in. I stood at the counter telling the male employee my order, and after a while, the male employee made some comments about a "funky" smell to his coworker while glancing at me. It seemed like he was more concerned with flirting with his female coworker than getting my order correct. After telling him what I wanted, I sat down at a table, and I could overhear him, talking about how a person could order 4 sandwiches for themselves. ( I ordered 4 sandwiches, 1 sandwich each for my family members) Then he proceeded to ask me how I wanted my sandwiches and STILL got my order wrong. I didn't notice my order was wrong until I got home. I don't live in Woodland, and I was not about to drive back from Sacramento to get a refund during rush hour. If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. (P.s. this happened a few months ago)
the food was edible but expensive. I walked into the shop and saw a child running around, screaming, grabbing things. there was a woman behind the counter yelling for him to behave but he didn't listen and continued to run around. edit: this was on Monday the 23rd December.
December 28th 4:30 pm just left with 46.00 of sandwiches and an extremely RUDE attitude and service from an employee there. Long filthy dark hair swinging in food and when I asked for a different top of bread that was all torn up, she gave me a nasty look so I just asked it be cut in three so it doesn't fall apart. She does so then as her boss is ringing me up, slams my on the counter and says "happy now". Her manager says nothing, which was also disappointing! Upon watching it be made, I noticed she used a dirty rag to wipe the knife then cut my sandwiches. What a poor choice of an employee who clearly doesn't care about her job, that establishment or treatment of customers. Had planned on having a 40th birthday for 34 people catered from there....NOT NOW!! WONT be back!! 👎
