Great tasting Mexican food, my wife and I have been going there for years now. They know us my face and remember what we order. Love it there.

The chicken empanadas are sooo goood!

I really loved eating here. Place is small and quaint, women working here are lovely and sweet. Food is delicious. Perfect for a low key brunch or a quick bite.

One of my favorite restaurants in Queens! The food was not to salty and was full of flavor. The service was great I can't wait to return with my friends.

I absolutely love this place. Whenever anyone is visiting me and wants breakfast in the neighborhood, I take them here. Chilaquiles and huevos tapatios are exceptional but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Nice, laid back service. They are quick to refill your coffee mug too :)

Very snug spot. I love that when you order coffee they bring you a coffee pitcher so you can refill. Portions are great! Staff was lovely.

I only came here to try out their Michelada, choosing a Modelo Negro as the beer. Their Michelada is amazing, with a good salty and spicy ratio, similar to a spot I had in the Bronx. I was also given a pitcher of water during my visit. Staff was very courteous. I also loved the atmosphere, there being an elderly group of friends who seem to regularly meet up there. The tables (one had a foot rest) and decor are very unique and welcoming. Will come back again to try out their food.

My favorite dish is in this photo HUEVOS TAPATIOS BREAKFAST and as a desert we share their FRENCH TOAST WITH FRUITS, which comes with a strawberry filling that really brings up the flavor from the FRENCH TOAST! On another occasion, I tried another great food option, "The HAAB Deluxe Breakfast" comes with plain french toast powdered with sugar along any styled eggs and ham, bacon & sausage". If you are not in the mood to try mexican-styled food you MUST try this platter.

If you’re looking for delicious, fresh Mexican food with a warm family touch, Haab is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Cafe de olla... The best damn coffee I have ever had in my life. the right amount of spice, texture is smoothness you don't even have to add anything to it. It's perfect just the way it is. The staff was super friendly. Nice. Great Conversations about Mexican culture and how to express it with this cup of coffee and i needed a pick-me- up from the day I've had so it's really much appreciated I even asked for a large container to go to take it back home to share with my son. my son absolutely loved it and I told him I would take him there since we usually have coffee Sundays.

Ordered the veggie burrito. The flavor was kind of underwhelming… and I was surprised to find broccoli and cauliflower in it. Don’t get me wrong- I like them- but didn’t expect them in the burrito. I did like the salad more, and it had more flavor. I will be back to try something on the breakfast menu. This will be a treat since their prices are kinda high. Other info: Credit cards are accepted. Parking can be a challenge on certain days due to street cleaning.

The freshly squeezed juice was perfect, full of flavor and not too sweet. The cappuccino was excellent — creamy, strong, and beautifully served. The food came quickly, nicely presented, and full of authentic Mexican taste. You can really tell they cook with love and attention to detail. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The café is small but cozy, decorated with lots of traditional details that give it a warm and colorful atmosphere. A great spot for a relaxed breakfast or brunch — definitely worth coming back!

Came here on two occasions. First time I have the breakfast burrito and it was pretty tasty. The margaritas left something to desire. This time I came with outdoor dining. Had the Mexican burger medium rare with fries. Burger was overcooked and cold. Fries were cold as well. Not sure if they were premade in batch and left sitting for an order to come in. I would still come back but next time I'd order the burrito again or try something different for brunch. Id stay away from the burger & fries.

The Haab Mexican Cafe is not by any stretch of the imagination revolutionizing fine dining or gourmet cuisine. So I'm not going to try and suggest otherwise here. But what they do have is good, properly prepared Mexican food in a modest but friendly and inviting atmosphere that will cure your hunger, while satisfying your need for something you can rely on more importantly and that's a trusted neighborhood establishment with humble roots that makes you feel at home 🏡 👌

Ordered takeout and food was okay but won’t order again from here due to meh food with a higher price tag ($16 chicken enchiladas) - also someone actually put the avocado pit in the side ordered so only got half of the amount paid for.

Quite unfortunate, this place was a gem. Good quality was great and just a pleasant brunch spot. Not only has the quality gone down, the prices have been jacked. We used enjoy coming here regularly but $65 for breakfast between two people? I get if the food was exceptional but it's a sad state now.

What a huge dissapointment!!! I have gone several times to the HAAB in Brooklyn and enjoyed their vegan menu and high quality menu. The HAAB in Queens is under new management. There is little vegan menu (I am vegan) and in the regular menu it's all junky carbs. I asked for a burrito of spinach and tofu which they made vegan by removing the cheese. It was 99% rice. Horrible.

Ordered buffalo wings and got a chicken soup lol, the veggies were unnecessary, I was expecting old fashioned crispy buffalo wings. Not soggy wings with vegetables. The chilaquiles were decent the meat(carne enchilada)was really good. Ordered over hard eggs and still received a runny yolk.

The staff is cheery, warm and welcoming. The food here is excellent. Their “aguas frescas” are so refreshing. I always get their chilaquiles with red sauce, eggs over easy, and beef. The spot itself is quaint and its outdoor seating is a plus. The only con I would say is that on Sunday I believe they only take cash which can leave you looking for an ATM. Other than that tho, fully recommend! Edit - After having returned to his spot quite a few times after my initial review, I realized most of the menu is outrageously priced. The cost of many items are not competitive with other restaurants in the area. The order that made me change my rating for food was a breakfast. I’ve now dietary restrictions and so I asked for some eggs, turkey breast, tomato slices, avocado, and steamed spinach. To drink I had water. 3 tomato slices, a 1/4-1/2 of an avocado, two eggs, 3 slices of the turkey breast…. With the tip, I ended up paying $50 (including 20% tip). How? I have no idea. I didn’t ask or complain. I simply have not returned and will not return. It’s not the first time I was met with an unreasonable price at time of payment with them and so I knew it wasn’t a mistake. But I will reiterate, I will not return.

Ordered the Haab burrito for takeout. It looked good but on the first bite the chicken was bland and dry, the steak was so overcooked that it was hard and chewy and the pork was dry and under seasoned.. I paid $20.41 cents, it’s definitely overpriced. I get burritos all the time in a Manhattan food cart for $10 and it’s way better quality and tastier.. I would not suggest this place for good food.. I definitely won’t eat at Haab cafe no time soon….

I work in the restaurant industry for 30 years, l know prices for breakfast or brunch on weekends, this place list it’s menú with very very expensive food comparing Manhattan prices, crazy high! for a steak burrito $18 ? Wow that’s not correct, also Sundays only don’t take credit cards, cash only? Sorry but l will not come back to this place again…..

If you want good Mexican food the Haab Is not the place to go. It took 16 years of living in NYC but I finally found the absolute worst Mex food. bad flavor and not fresh. 0/10. We ordered 2 burritos. The Burrito de Carne Asada, which they labeled "Azada" was a broken burrito wrap full of firm meat and rice only. Terrible flavor- the food was made with zero love. The Mananero Burrito was just soggy potatoes and scraps of Chorizo. Literally the worst food of any genre I can remember. Better to go hungry than waste money here.

I just went here to pick up a TooGoodToGo bag of $4.99 and what a bad experience and very disappointing. I was given a soup that was very cold and size if hard and very cold yellow rice. I just spent my last few dollars to get something to eat was very hungry and was hoping to eat something good and hot. Turns out I was wrong. Even if it’s a TooGoodToGo bag don’t mean you gotta give old food or cold food to people who exactly still spending there money to get some food. I personally don’t think that’s fair at all. Very upset and disappointed as a Latin restaurant.
