They haven't changed the prices on the menu that appears on maps, that's my only complaint because I thought it was cheaper and well no, it's like $20 per dish, but hey, it's still worth it and I think the price is fair because everything is delicious and the place is beautiful if you love art and places of this style.

A busy restaurant-bar with table service and an extensive menu of freshly prepared food, specializing in pasta, but also offering tapas, personal pizzas, salads, and desserts. The drinks menu is varied, offering classic and more contemporary drinks that maintain the essence of the place. Wine and national beer are also available. The decor is meticulous, and each space feels special. Textures and imperfections are exploited under warm tones and neon lights. Large modern murals decorate the different rooms, creating a cohesive atmosphere throughout. The restaurant is spread over two levels. Inside, there are different lounges, and on the upper floor, there is an outdoor terrace that combines design with a view of the Manuel Maples Arce Plaza. The soundtrack is outstanding in every room. The furniture consists of square tables made of wood and ironwork and is well distributed throughout the different spaces, with adequate distance between diners. The service could definitely be improved; I think it's the only aspect that could change the experience of the place. The food isn't as good as it used to be; the pesto is too oily, which makes it unpleasant. The service is bad: once, the waiter practically kicked us out because they had a waiting list for the terrace and he wanted our table. The second time, they wouldn't let us in with our daughter because "children under a certain age aren't allowed." We explained that she's a teenager but short, and they still refused to let us in, even though we've been there countless times with her. We even messaged the website, and they told us our daughter was allowed, but oh well... The only redeeming feature is the atmosphere, but it's not a place I would recommend.

Great location. Very alternative vibe with good music for spending the afternoon with friends. Wide variety of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and food (pasta, pizza, and snacks) at excellent prices considering the portion size. Very good service (fast and attentive). I tried the pizza (I would suggest adding more cheese) and the pasta (soak it in sauce, it was very dry); the sangria was delicious. They should improve the ventilation in the building, especially the bathrooms.

Just improve the part about serving wine in aluminum cups and stop the waitresses and the bartender on the terrace making faces because they're not being asked to pay the bill or give things away for free.

My partner and I have been coming here for several years. There were several times when we didn't like things, but today was just too much. The guy who served us never responded to polite things like "good night" or "thank you." We still tolerate that, but when he brought us two pastas (cold, by the way) and two beers, we asked for a glass of water. The waiter told us they don't give glasses of water, only when you have wine, but that he would just bring us one, as if he were doing us a favor and it wasn't a national law. Bad service. La Central WAS a good place.

I don't really understand why people keep rating this restaurant with lots of stars! Its horrible! It might be true that it used to be a great place in the past like their reputation, but now they offer very dry salty pasta and poorly looked hard pizzita. That waitress worked hard i admit but they didn't refund for the too salty pasta with the reason I have already eaten. It's a shame that the atmosphere of the restaurant looks good but food does not allow to feel it.
