I went to Tortas Al Fuego so many times for a reason. It is cheap, consistently delicious, and incredibly convenient, especially since it is open 24x7. The place feels genuinely authentic and no-nonsense, exactly what you want when you just need good food without thinking too much. The only downside is that the sauces are not nearly as spicy as you would expect or hope for, which takes a bit away from the experience. That said, the shrimp tortas are excellent and easily the standout, flavorful, well cooked, and very satisfying. Overall, a reliable go-to spot in Mexico City that I would happily keep returning to.

Just fabulous - roadside tortas with a soft drink, the bustle of the city accompanied by the attentive servers - took me all the way back to my (rose colored) adolescence in Karachi. We had the beef Milanese but the Al pastor looked fabulous.

Hole in the wall (and I use that phrase with love and endearment!) that serves the BEST tortas and tacos! Delicious! Our local tour guide recommended this spot and we were so happy he did. We're here for a few days through Christmas and we'll definitely be back! Gracias!

Friendly service, great prices. They have a couple vegetarian options - mainly mushroom and cactus. I got the cactus torta, which was great.

Cochinitas were great, costilla was great, the camarones con queso was also great! Service was good with a waitress who noticed whenever I needed anything and helped me out! There is a list of seating on the inside and the food was great, I would definitely go again

Excellent breakfast , ordered the chilaqulies, juice and coffee. Outdoor seating, Very dog friendly they brought a plate of tacos for my dog and a water.

Torta al pastor was fantastic. All the toppings on the torta was fresh and amazing. The pickled jalapeños and carrots were my fav touch. The green sauce was so spicy and fresh and bright. The Tortilla soup was so fresh and tasty as well. This place is 24/7 and always full with locals.

We loved everything we ordered - sopa de camaron, tacos de pescado/pulpo/pastor/cochinita, torta de chorizo y huevo, and flan. This was the BEST restaurant experience during our stay in Mexico City.
