La ensalada super fresca, tenía kiwi , pera , manzana y durazno.. ♡ la comida , la atención del personal y la limpieza del lugar fueron impecables, el dueño del lugar se acercó varias veces a mi mesa a preguntarme como estaba todo y si algo me faltaba. Me dijeron que la especialidad de ahí es un lomo de 🐟marinado ... tendré que regresar a probarlo. En fin.. lo recomiendo ampliamente 🤌

McFisher quickly became a go-to spot for us in La Paz! We visited several times during our stay, which says a lot. Angel and the entire team made us feel welcome from the start, and they were especially kind and patient as we navigated ordering with limited Spanish. Their recommendations never missed. The onion scallop taco and the seabass sashimi were highlights, though the menu is strong across the board. Our only regret was that they close before dinner, so we had to be intentional about fitting in lunch visits, particularly on weekends.

Top 5 tacos we had in Mexico! We ordered the smoked marlin taco and the burro Maya (stuffed pepper with cheese). Both were amazing but especially the burro Maya! Easy to choose a corn tortilla instead of the flour. Generous portion, nice salsas & garnishes and a very reasonable price.

I'm am still under the influence of being so full as I write this review sitting aside the fans at a table in the restaurant here. I ordered far too much, portions are generous especially for the price, so order accordingly. There are many amazing choices so you might have trouble choosing and order too much like me. Smoked marlin, fried scallop, clam, blue crab and a classic fried fish. Service was attentive and prompt always pleasant. Salsas were fresh, flavorfully, and potent. Eat with confidence, you will taste the sea here!

Great Food and Friendly Service We had a great dinner here. The food was really tasty, and the staff gave us some excellent recommendations. Service was very friendly and professional — and the staff spoke great English, which made things easy. The atmosphere is relaxed and modern, with a cool, laid-back vibe. The seafood dishes were a real highlight — full of flavor and unlike anything we’ve had before. Prices are very fair for the quality. We’ll definitely be back — even if it means having dinner a bit earlier (the kitchen closes at 5:20 PM, so we made a 5:00 PM reservation). Well worth it.

We had an amazing meal at this restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was incredibly warm and welcoming. One of the great things about this place is that you can see the chefs cooking nearby, preparing the dishes with great skill and care. Their guacamole and seafood were outstanding—so fresh and flavorful. The octopus, in particular, was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. It was tender, slightly sticky in texture, yet still pleasantly chewy and packed with flavor. The prices were also very reasonable, making it a fantastic value. We stopped by for a quick lunch, but we left feeling completely satisfied. Highly recommend this place!

This is my favorite seafood place where I go with locals and love sharing with visitors. Mirsha Macklis, the owner, as well as other staff (Ariel, Lupita, Eric, and the chef, Tita, and more that I don't remember) are all phenomenal. They welcome you in English, if you're not comfortable with Spanish, and willingly answer all your questions. I've never had anything that was just mediocre but, my absolute favorite is to get the catch of the day as a "grilled fish fillet" with the side of vegetables. In fact, their veggies (which actually include slices of pear and apple in a light soy-based sauce) are so delicious I often ask for a double portion. The grilled fish fillet option comes with a topping of feta cheese and some other magic. The fish portions are large and perfectly grilled (I've often split the dish with a friend, just getting more of the veggies). They provide MANY condiments to choose from (like your own personal condiments bar). If your hearing is sensitive, I recommend seating in the "side room" (if it's dark, don't worry.... they'll gladly turn on the lights and/or fan for you), as the acoustics aren't the best in the main seating area and local musicians will occasionally come and perform with their own equipment for tips. Although I enjoy the music, it can be hard to hear conversations in that room. Go try McFisher's. They've been around for several decades and are a true Paceño institution. Ask Mirsha about his family history. You'll be glad you did.

Every time we visit La Paz, McFisher is an absolute must! My daughter is obsessed with their fish and fries, and the bonus? She gets creative with a side of tortillas to make her own fish tacos, using the variety of salsas they provide. The vibes here are unbeatable, and the servers are always so welcoming and personable—they truly make us feel special every time we visit. My personal favorite is the house special fish, blackened to perfection and paired with their incredible fruit salad. The dressing is light, flavorful, and complements the fresh, delicious fruit perfectly. And let’s not forget their tacos—you honestly can’t go wrong with any of them. McFisher always hits the mark!

Our favorite tacos in La Paz! Worth the walk up from the Malecon every single day! Great selection of tacos with many options to choose from. We went at least once a day for a week and still did not get through all options. Homemade and fresh Ingredients prepped by an excellent kitchen team. Staff were friendly and extremely attentive throughout each visit. Plenty of extra add ones provided to your table so you can make each taco unique to your liking. Our personal favorites were the standard fish taco and the shrimp with grilled onions. Can not wait to return to La Paz and fill up on Mc-Fisher

Really outstanding food! Great and attentive service. My daughter ordered a hamburger, and I really appreciated that the waiter wanted to make sure she knew it wasn't going to be a fresh burger they handmade. The beef patties are frozen and from Costco. Thoroughly enjoyed a mezcalita tamarindo while there as well. Great salsas! One of the few places that actually has a salsa que me pica. A must-visit AFAIC

I only got to eat here once and I was more than pleased with everything I tried. The shrimp taco’s were the best I’ve ever had and the service was great! Unfortunately they were closed when we came back. Next time!! I got to come back and try it again!! It didn’t let me down. Our server was so nice and helpful, he suggested some favorites and I’m glad he did. I got a Diablo shrimp and a marlin that were very different than I was use to, but I definitely enjoyed them. Their toppings definitely take the tacos to the next level. The menu is loaded and it’s just a great spot for lunch or an early dinner, you’ve gotta stop by and give it a try.

Un lugar muy popular para ir a comer comida de mar y los tradicionales tacos de pescado de la paz. El lugar es muy amplio y cómodo, el personal es muy amable y atento. Al llegar te reciben con un dip de frijoles con totopos muy clásico de la paz. Su menú es amplio, tienes que tomar tu tiempo para revisar y seleccionar lo que más se te antoje. Su sazón es bueno pero no considero que sea el mejor de la ciudad. Tal vez los tacos que pedí no fueron lo mejor, tenía que salir al aeropuerto muy rápido y ordené solamente lo que podían tener al momento... volveré para darles otra oportunidad y poder compartir un reviw más completo.

Lugar muy rico. Los tacos de pescado y camarón capeado estuvieron fuera de serie. En mi opinión falta una salsa que no pique tanto y el pescado especialidad de la casa no nos gustó tanto, llego muy duro por haberlos sobrecocido. Excelente opción a precio favorable para echar tacos y pasarla bien.

Bueno y barato Tenía tiempo sin visitarlo, creo que más de 6 años, no se si sea la misma administración, pero puedo decir que los tacos estuvieron muy buenos, el único inconveniente es la cantidad de verdura y la variedad. El precio acordé a lo que ordene, muy barato y aparte te reciben con frijoles con tortilla dorada.

No está mal, tampoco bien. 3 estrellas es justo. Los tacos de harina tiene buen sabor perp pulpo chicloso, y los tacos son de tortilla pequeña que por precio son medio-alto. La atención es buena pero dejan las mesas muy solas, no están al pendiente. El agua de mango estaba pasado de maduración. Tienen salsas pero viejas y sin sabor. 3 estrellas

Teniamos muchas ganas de ir a este lugar y fuimos ayer, por lo general no hago malos comentarios y este no es uno de ellos, solamente quiero decir que la gente que califica el lugar con mas de 4 , creo les falta conocer mas otros lugares para encontrar un punto de referencia, critica constructiva, tienen que refrescar el lugar, y su carta hacerla menos extensa, salven esos platillos que tienen mas demanda, y un poco de musica ambiental seria mucho mejor.
