Nice big restaurant. We all like mimi's and were not disappointed. The food and service was great. 3 courses for $30 is well worth it.

We were there to celebrate a birthday. The waiter was well versed in the menu selections and had a few suggestions. He was attentive to the refills of our drinks. It was a very nice place to have lunch!

Mimi’s Cafe is a nice place to come for breakfast or brunch. They offer some great food options. The food tasted pretty good it wasn’t anything amazing but it was good and they have some unique options to choose from. The service is alright here they seemed a bit understaffed so maybe that is why service wasn’t fully great here. The whole place looks very nice and cozy as far as the environment goes. I’d recommend giving this place a try at least once or twice.

Updated New Review: My son & I decided to have breakfast here because it’s available all day! Who says breakfast is only in the mornings? The corned beef hash was great! The waffles were served plain with butter on top. It would be great if it had strawberries on top. Not sure if that was an option. They have the best soups!

Overall disappointing lunch experience at Mimi’s Cafe in Yorba Linda. The server was very nice but could tell she was super busy as service was slow and our lunch took a long time to come out, even the salads that came out first that would have most likely been prepared already. We did get bread and butter while we waited. Had the trio option half sandwich and soup or salad option and comes with fries. Salad was called petite but almost like regular size. Turkey salad was decent, too much dressing or mayo on bread for my liking, fries were crispy but not warm. My other party got the quiche Lorraine. Not sure if these are made or frozen but they are like a pot pie size. To the management team here, please change out your carpet! It’s so dirty, stained and disgusting. The place is older looking already being dated with its furnishings but the carpet makes you think it’s not a clean establishment. Will not come back as there are so many other places to choose from.

I haven't been here for years and it has really gone downhill! The basket of bread was just a few slices of sourdough. They used to give a lovely basket of assorted breads and real butter. The grilled cheese and fries were so greasy, I couldn't even finish it. It was more greasy than a food truck sandwich. My mom also got a tuna melt which was one tiny scoop of tuna and extremely greasy. My lips were full of grease and it was not cheap. The onion soup is smaller but was still tasty. I understand prices have gone up because of the economy but definitely not worth the price. My mom and I will never go back. The server was nice, though.

The food was poor quality and gave everyone a stomach ache - even the avocado toast and eggs. The bathrooms and dining area in general were not kept clean.

While traveling to Southern California, we wanted to get out of our car and grab a quick bite to eat. We found this restaurant conveniently located. The atmosphere looked nice, and the service was prompt. The quality of the food was overpriced and way too salty. Either of us could finish our food because of the salt.

I really hate to do this, but someone needs to speak up. We’ve been eating at this Mimi’s for years and years and have always enjoyed the food and service. Tonight, it was dramatically different with feeble service and among the worst plates of food I’ve ever been served. The salmon was dry and would have made a good hockey puck! The rice medley was nearly inedible because it was so dry, crunchy and tasteless. Someone is really cutting corners.
