Had brunch at Terra Wood Fired Grill on a Sunday afternoon. It was a perfect day and Tara had a very nice patio that was clean and comfortable. There smell of the wood fire was surprisingly nice and aromatic. They had a special brunch menu, so we couldn't get all their normal menu items. They still had all there really good wood-fired pizzas. Parking on the old main street is a little limited however they have a very large and free parking structure just one block east. There is a Bristol farms and Regal movie theater next door. Also a nice water fountain near the parking structure. It's just a great place to walk around after your meal. Would highly recommend it for a night out or time with the family.
What a wonderful place to meet up with friends! We enjoyed an awesome evening celebrating a friends birthday on the roof top area enjoying some yummy appetizers which included the Wild Lump Crab & Avocado Stack, Caramelized Brussel Sprouts, and the Firecracker Edamame not to mention a few beverages! If you're are looking for a fun spot in Yorba Linda, definitely give Terra a try.
Our second visit. We love this place. Everyone including the owners, the servers and the kitchen staff are very accommodating. It's fun to sit right off the full view kitchen. Love the owners Nick and Doreen, they are warm. Engaging and welcoming. Parking can be a bit iffy in front, but there's a free parking structure a few steps down the block. Nice, old town feeling. Good for groups as there is additional seating upstairs. One final note, you have to try the Pistashio ice cream, it's homemade and the best you will taste anywhere! Guaranteed! I've included photos of owner Nick, the patio, and the plate of their pistashio ice cream.
We made a reservation and believe me it was necessary. The restaurant was packed. We started out with the chopped salad and then had a pizza. The pizza was very tasty. The service was excellent too. We did feel the bill was slightly on the high side though. All in all we would probably come back. Please note they offer outside dining too.
Fresh gourmet food in a new clean and modern environment. Great ambiance, beer and wine selection. Glad to see progress on Main Street. We have all been waiting a long time for them to open and really excited that it’s finally happened...4pm - 9pm Tuesday through Sunday for now anyway. I wish them success. They have worked very hard to make it come to fruition and now it’s time to reap the rewards...good luck Doreen and Nick!
The restaurant just opened and although it was a long wait, the food and service made up for it. Its really cool that in certain tables you can see the chef's cooking your meals. The pizza was good and the mac n cheese was reaaaally good. I'd come again to try other items. My daughter also loved the pepperoni pizza.
Nice patio area with good service and delicious food! Highly recommend the wood fired pizza and baked macaroni and cheese appetizer
Very tasty food and great atmosphere. This was the first place my wife and I went out to after being quarantined for a year+ during Covid. We are glad we came here. The staff is very friendly. Their wood fired food was terrific, along with their variety of appetisers and pizzas. Definitely will be going back.
Everything we ordered was delicious!! House Amber beer, ash-roasted beets appetizer, Chilean Sea Bass, and Prime Hangar Steak.
Such a great place, nestled in sleepy downtown Yorba Linda. We had the artisan charcuterie board, the roasted fingerling potatoe wood fired pizza, the bread pudding, and the sangria. We couldnt have had a more delightful meal. Despite how busy this place is, the wait wasnt too bad, and the food, service, and ambiance made up for it. Perfect date night destination!
This was the first time we tried this restaurant. They had both inside and outside seating. I like the way they decorated the place. The food was great and they have am interesting menu.
Terra woods is a great vibes place that is great for a nice meal or celebration. Usually you would need to reserve. If I don’t know what to order, I get the Terra’s Bolognese or their Mac n cheese. The bolognese is amazing I love the noodle shape long and wide but thin. Their Mac n cheese is one of the best I’ve tried, crispy on top nice a cheese inside but not pullable
Wonderful experience! Sunday Brunch amazing choices and food choices Jessica was our server LOVE Jessica Amazing Job! When you're in Yorba Linda YOU'VE GOT TO STOP on MAIN St and meet the Owners and have a Great Experience!
Our server Christian was great! Very fun and the food was so delicious
This is one of our favorite restaurants in town. Everything is fantastic from service to food. Staff is pleasant and friendly. The avocado and crab stack appetizer is a family favorite. The firecracker edemame is amazing. Their wood fired pizzas are the best I've had. Overall a great night out! So glad they are local to me.
Simply divine. Upscale yet not ridiculous, good cocktails, amazing pizza. Rest of the menu is fairly good as well, the chicken and burger stand out to me but the pizza is certainly the star of the show. If you go I’d recommend the potato pizza, or the BBQ chicken pizza, and some sort of small entree or other small plate. You won’t regret your visit.
Pizza was excellent, with a nice wine and craft beer selection. Ambiance is nice, great location on the Main St right down from the parking structure. Only negative was our shrimp appetizer, the flavor and presentation was great, but the shrimp was way overcooked; it was a full house so it can happen with that amount of orders. Will definitely be back again, some of the best pizza we've experienced.
As good as it gets in YL. Everything from the pizza to the salads to the fish to the appetizers is fantastic. Great beer and wine selection (no liquor). We love the outside seating and little bar area inside. This place was a much needed addition to Downtown Yorba Linda - cheers!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We celebrated with friends at Terra Wood Fire Kitchen last Friday, and it was an unforgettable dining experience! The wood-fired pizzas, fresh seasonal dishes, and expertly prepared entrees were absolutely delicious. The warm, inviting ambiance makes Terra Wood Fire Kitchen the best restaurant for friends, perfect for group celebrations, dinner with friends, or a cozy date night. I highly recommend this restaurant in Yorba Linda for the best dinner, fine dining, and memorable experiences near me.
LOVE THIS PLACE! Me and my husband probably come here 1x a week and sit at the bar area. Service is great and fast. Drinks are good. Food is always fresh and so good! Everything we’ve ever ordered has been so yummy. Some recommendations • season peach salad • pastrami sandwich • chicken • brunch potato & bacon pizza • red sangria • chocolate pie
Delicious food. We came through on a Saturday night for dinner and opted for outdoor seating along the street. There were seats inside, but the weather was agreeable for an outside meal. The food was excellent and the staff were friendly and not too over the top. They checked on us just the right amount to allow us to enjoy ourselves.
This restaurant is always crowded. My family has been here twice and had a satisfying meal. We had Spicy Calabrese Salami Pizza and Terra's Bolognese, Jumbo Shrimp, which were very delicious. The interior is cozy and the atmosphere is good and the staff is friendly. If you have a large group, I recommend making a reservation in advance.
Of all the items we ordered, the fresh burrata margherita pizza was my favorite dish on the menu. I also thoroughly enjoyed the arugula salad, crab avocado stack and brioche bread pudding soufflé. The flavor of the rotisserie chicken was just okay, but thankfully the meat was cooked to perfection - super juicy and tender. My friend loved the dish along with the cauliflower puree. It’s just not personally something I would order again. The tables are small for a party of two with 3+ dishes, but we made it work and just ate fast to clear one plate off first. I was surprised they didn’t have pizza racks at a pizza spot like this to make more room on the table (call out to management!). Overall, I loved the ambiance on the rooftop terrace, but there seems to not be a bad seat in the house. Every area seemed nice to dine at. The service was good too. I would come back for their margherita pizza again for sure.
Came here for the first time on a Sunday and I must say, our experience was amazing from start to finish. We were greeted by a lovely host who seated us by the kitchen so we could watch the crew which was pretty cool. The kitchen staff handles the food with care and you can tell they take food safety very seriously. Our server, Jessica, was amazing! For context, I am pregnant, so I was having a hard time deciding what I wanted to eat especially since it was my first time there and I wasn’t familiar with the food. Jessica was very patient and went over some of the menu items with me. She made some recommendations to help me narrow it down. I decided to go with the spicy calabrese salami pizza and oh man, that pizza was out of this world. We finished up with some gelato which was also super delicious and so refreshing. Overall, great service, great food, and great atmosphere!!
Great place, food amazing, but the burguer stole the show!! Best burguer in town, my top 3 all time burguer
**Here’s a review you can use:** I can't believe I've been neglecting to leave a review for this hidden gem in Yorba Linda! The owners are absolute rock stars – their hard work and friendly spirit shine through in every bite. The menu is a masterpiece; I've tried several pizzas and they're all incredible. The shisito peppers with that killer sauce are a must-try! Their new misters have transformed the outdoor dining experience into a refreshing oasis. It's like dining in a tropical paradise! Seriously, this place is a local treasure.
We just missed brunch, so the menu was a bit limited, compared to normal however the food was great! We ordered a Ginger Sesame Miso, which was good, not my favorite.. the salad has a nice ginger and miso flavor, but the chicken comes out cold and the chili flavor on the cold chicken was kinda like an Asian salad with Latin spiced chicken. Some may like it but wasn’t for me. We also ordered 2 pizzas: La Carne and BBQ chicken… Pizzas are great, crust is perfect, nice fluffy and great flavors that came together. I mean I wouldn’t mind a little less crust, and more pizza but overall I’d be back over and over again!
Absolutely my favorite restaurant in Yorba Linda, as a matter of fact I drive out of my way to go eat at Terra Wood. Amazing food, steaks, Salmon, Pizzas, Salads. Today we met for a meeting and we had the charcuterie plate, and a few Peroni beers, then we finished off with some coffee and the famous bread pudding, it is amazing just note it does take about 30 minutes to prepare.
Friendly, open location, with great outdoor seating, great service, and excellent food. The Duroc pork chop was honestly one of the best I've ever had. It's obvious this place really cares about what they do. Truly a gem in Yorba Linda.
The biggest thing I noticed in all the food I tried was the perfect seasoning of everything. Its rare for the salt and pepper usage to be this exact. The best restaurant in Yorba Linda in my opinion.
It was my first time dinning at Terra Wood. You can reserve a table through Open Table. I ordered the Ribeye with Mac & Cheese and it was really good! The ambiance was amazing, and it gave a very winery vibe if you seat outdoors. I’ll be back!
WOW, what a great place and food! The Pizza is some of the best I have ever had, but you must try the shrimp appetizer. We will be back.

We had dinner Saturday evening with another couple and our 2 small dogs. The wait staff was very attentive and the food was wonderful. We will definitely be returning.
Food was good and large portions. Waitress made sure our drinks were always full. We sat on the rooftop so it was a nice view.
This is the cutest restaurant! We went for date night before a candlelight quartet performance at the Nixon Library (just down the road!). Great wine and beer selection, yummy appetizers and dishes. Great service. We sat by the fire. Although busy, it was still a very intimate setting! Highly recommend!

Went for my first time with the wife on Saturday 08/10. Service was prompt. Staff bussed tables as a team, helped each other out at tables, and provided excellent customer service. We ordered the burratta appetizer, 2 pizzas, and the bread pudding. Everything came out promptly. We really enjoyed the food [flavor, texture, you name it] Myself and wife did end up getting food poisoning, though. Not sure if staff is not washing hands, cleaning dishes incorrectly, not wiping tables down, or using food past its shelf life. No idea what the source was. Due to this, we ended up throwing out the left over pizza because we didn't want it to happen again. I am sure it was just a mistake, but I wanted to make sure the restaurant was aware.
I've been here a couple times a few years apart. Their pizza is what shines. I think my friend and I agree that it's the main thing worth getting. The atmosphere is lovely and I love their rooftop seating. It feels a bit more secluded and off the main street. Our waitress did forget about us a few times and after I got a second soda, she brought me two more at once to reduce the amount of times she had to come by which felt... catty? Sure I finished two sodas, but four is a little presumptive, especially since she brought them out as we were finishing the pizza. If she delivered them up front while we were waiting to order and receive our food, maybe.l, but still a lot of soda. Anyway the food came out quickly and the food itself was tasty. The prices are funny though. They charge like they're in the middle of the best LA neighborhood without offering that quality. Having a few drinks here can get pricey fast.
Came here Friday night with some friends. Reservation is highly recommended as this place was packed when we got here. Since we had reservations we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and professional. The place also looked a cool hangout spot. They only serve Beer and wine for alcoholic drinks. They have a good selections of pizza. Food was tasty and delicious. 4/5 ⭐️
Great place . Nice menu options. Great service. Would like to see more Gluten Free options. A little pricey but what isn't now days.

My rotisserie chicken came out blacken with no spices, herbs or sauce, the cauliflower puree was enjoyable and the fresh squeeze lemonade was tasty.
I had high hopes for this spot, and was rather disappointed. The place was super busy, figured that was a good sign. Took ~15 min to get a seat (for 3), despite calling in for a table ahead of time. Ordered steaks, bolognese pasta, and a bruschetta appetizer. The coke was flat; asked about it, they said that was normal (it's not, but point taken, they aren't gonna fix it). Took a long time to get food. Received the appetizer after ~15 min without napkins or utensils, so it was nice to look at while we waited for that. It was tasty. After ~30 min, received the main courses. The steaks were a proper medium rare, but kinda cold. The Bolognese tasted like Ragu. Not terrible, but definitely not worth the premium price tag. Other customers who were seated before us were visibly agitated that they still hadn't gotten their food. Looked like there was a huge screw-up in the kitchen that required all waiters to have a pow-wow about it. We were told that it was busier than they expected, and the kitchen was behind. It was Saturday night 7pm, not sure what they were expecting. The waiters were friendly, but pretty out of sorts. The place is super cramped, I could literally hear every conversation happening in the half dozen tables around me. The decor is nice, but not very well secured--a customer almost knocked a large decoration off the wall into another customer when he tried to get up, as it was only held to the wall with a single screw. All in all, not worth the wait and money. I hope they get their act together--the OC Register made it sound like a hot spot to dine. Maybe one day they'll live up to the hype, but I won't be trying it again.
I heard about this place through a friend. When I got seated I waited about 20 minutes before my waitress came to ask me what I wanted to drink. The food took a long time to arrive once I placed my order. The people sitting behind me knew some of the waiters. They were talking and being very loud . There is only 2 restrooms. Both time I got up the bathrooms were being used. I had to move seats because the people behind me that knew the waiters were very loud. It was about 8:30 pm , very cold thankfully I brought my jacket. The pizza was good.
$70 (including tip) gets you one mediocre dry pizza that’s worse than blaze, one decent soup, and one unmemorable appetizer with bruschetta that was more air from holes than actual bread. Service was a little slow, but decent, until our leftovers container containing half of our bland pizza was accidentally knocked over by our server who was in such a hurry she did not even realize it for a few minutes. That was definitely a first. Understandably, accidents do happen, and we were offered a replacement pizza, but we declined. Not going to wait around another 15-20 minutes for a truly forgettable pizza, knowing it really should have been comp’d (as a former server myself), and blaze is a short walk away. She did us a favor though because I wasn’t looking forward to eating the leftovers, and that says a lot about the quality of food because I love pizza more than anything. As a local resident who wants to see restaurants in downtown YL succeed and had high hopes, the great ambiance with the rooftop dining is the only thing going for this place. If I’m paying that much there are much better options that also offer great food and service, just a short drive away. I’m just glad I didn’t spend much more on a steak or drinks. I like to test the waters out first to see if it’s worth splurging, and now I know not to come back. Sadly, very disappointing, unimpressive, and will not be returning.
The host was left in the sun during the heat advisory (110 degrees), in black pants and black shirt no one check on her the entire time I was eating. The manager was sitting inside the entire time I was there. It seems like the management is horrible and I felt extremely bad for the host.
We reserved a table for eight at ground level because half of us were seniors but upon arrival we had to use the tallest chairs. I was very unhappy about that but I was hoping for good food. My eggs Benedict were very salty and portions were small. The coffee was good but they never bother to refill my cup. The worse part was their drinking water. It tasted really bad. They also charge $30 per person that doesn’t show and $15 if one more shows up. They automatically added a 20% tip to my check which I don’t think was deserved giving their nasty water, unsafe seating and terrible food. I regret ever taking my family there. I’m glad no one was hurt by those chairs or their water.
