Surprisingly good and reasonably priced for an attraction. Fish sandwich was quite good. Fries were not bad too, a little salty. Chicken tenders are quite peppery for my liking.
This is one of the better places to get food in the park. They have only outdoor seating and because of it they're dog friendly! But someone has to stay outside with them they're not allowed inside. The food comes out pretty quick, and I enjoyed my burger, however I was told the chicken tenders weren't great
Everyone was really mediocre except for a handsome fry cook who was always talking to his coworkers creating a positive work environment and a cute girl in the back who was equally as enthusiastic
Cheese burger is great! You don't need any dressings and it is still delicious. French fries also very nice. Friendly staff. Most burger shop in tourist attraction sucks but this one is definitely a real exception.😀😀😀
I love the chipotle chicken sandwich! And the Soft Serve is perfect on a hot afternoon. Temper your expectations though... this isn't some posh big city "better burger" restaurant, but a classic burger grill in a remote location. Even if the line looks long, they seem to move through it pretty quickly. Don't forget to pick up a beer at the Village Store next store and enjoy with your food on the patio.
Good fast food in Yosemite valley village. Chicken tenders portion large enough for 2 kids. Outside seating only so good in good weather.
It's a good restaurant at the park. We had to wait for 15 - 20 mins in the queue. It was crowded due to peak hour. The food was decent. Chicken tenders and French fries are good.
We tried the black bean burgers and fries🍔 and they were fresh and tasted good. Watermelon wedge was a nice refresher as well. You can park for 30 mins in the village store parking which is right behind the village grill for a quick meal
I'm one of the employees who work here. All the food is great here!! If your are a vegetarian, there is only 2 things u can order, but very very ,limited stuff u can eat at Yosemite village grill--is the veggie burger,& Mediterranean wrap.Thats it for vegetarians. We have gluten free buns,if your allergic; But any else is very good!! But,if u what an specialized order like a chili dog,or a chili cheese fries,it will cost u extra on your order! It's semi-expensive,& its summer!! Heavy some times to wait on on your order. My recommendation is get here early, when we open, @ 11a,or before we closed @6p,&/,or when there is less crowded between 4&6p. It's pending on the crowds.
Burger place with vegan options. We had a plant-based burger with a bean patty that tasted great! If you’re cutting down on carbs/calories you can have it protein-style: without a bun and wrapped in lettuce instead. Great views at the patio!
The pulled pork sandwich is awesome. The employees here are equally awesome. Just make sure to keep the front door closed. Green and purple bus stop 2 is very close.
We were the second to last people to be served this season. Despite shutting down, they worked hard to make sure we were happy. And did it with a heart full of song.

Honestly can’t fault the food or service. We went on a busy Friday and ordered the chicken tenders, pulled pork sandwich, onion rings and fries. We really enjoyed our food- it was hot, tenders were crispy and chicken moist. The fries and sandwich were also great. The onion rings were also really crisp and hot when we got them. It took less than 10 mins for food for 4 people to come out. Server was friendly and patient. Not to mention the food was really reasonably priced especially considering where you are. Will be visiting again.
The Village Grill in the valley serves delicious French fries 🍟 and refreshing Coca Cola 🥤 — perfect for a quick snack. You can also fill up your water vessel there, which is really handy in the 100° F heat. The only downside was the very long queue, so be prepared to wait during busy times.
Christian was a breath of fresh air! He was so nice and was cracking jokes with us throughout our order experience. My dad is a tough cookie to please when it comes to customer service, but he said and I quote “That’s the kinda guy you want working for your company, excellent customer service and is always smiling.”

Was a pleasant surprise to find ourselves here twice on our visit. I had the Pork BBQ with fries and hubby had the Chicken Cesar salad. Second day we got stuck in the valley because the traffic was so bad and I had the Fishwich sandwich and fries and Hubby had the Black bean Chili. All meals were excellent in flavor, could be more black beans in the chili but flavor was good. Average cost of $11.00 for the entrees. Not bad considering where you are and seating outside.
This place is very quick and convenient. I went on a rainy weekend in early May and I got my food in less than five minutes. Sure it wasn't anything mindblowing but it was satisfying and a decent price for being in the middle of a National Park. I got the chipotle chicken sandwich, while my friends really liked the angus cheeseburgers. The wait at the Pizza Deck is 45-60 mins and the quality is comparable to the Village Grill. While some might consider the Pizza Deck a must on any Yosemite visit, IMO if you're just looking for a quick lunch and want to get on with the rest of your plan, hit up the grill instead.
Food was decent, but not a lot of options. The BBQ pork was probably the best thing we had there. By the way, if you eat outside, be forewarned that the flies and bees will become your best friend.
Decent food. Liked the Onion Rings the best. Hamburgers, side salad and chicken tenders were average. The location was clean with decent seating. We went midweek during summer at noon. Service was friendly and efficient. There was chicken tenders and grilled cheese for kids.
We had black bean burgers and fries here during our Yosemite trip. The food was decent although not cheap but at least they had vegetarian options. We were also quite hungry when we arrived. The staff was friendly. Be prepared to stand in a huge line outside the grill to order food as this place always gets very crowded and makes it harder to find a table to sit.
The food can be enjoy in the happiest place in the world..... no, not Disneyland. Yosemite National Park, a beautiful place to have lunch or a snack. It's not a big menu and you stand in line to order, but you eat outside on the patio deck.
I tried the chicken pesto and actually liked it. I was impressed as I didn't expect much from a tourist trap kind of place. Mu wife bought the Turkey sandwich but the patty seemed like it was bought frozen at a supermarket. She returned it and had it exchanged for a Chicken pesto. She also liked this sandwich. The prices are quite high but the service is OK, not too slow even when busy.
Sandwiches were good, unfortunately they ran out of gas when we were there. We got the very last order but missed out on fries. They however replaced them with onion rings and soft serve ice cream so win-win ☺️
This restaurant is at shuttle stop 2 in the park. I had the basket of chicken tenders, if you have a basket then you can either choose to have it with fries or a watermelon wedge. The watermelon was so juicy and sweet, the chicken tenders were a little dry though which let it down slightly. You collect food from inside and then sit outside to eat under umbrella tables. The area can look very busy but there’s a fast turnaround on tables so don’t be put off if you can’t immediately see a free table.
Good restaurant behind the welcome centre, there can be long queues during peak times. Wait times are not too bad, the service is good and food looks good. We ordered 3 French fries as a little snack for lunch. Ordering at the counter was fine and waiting for our order was ok, no problems. Nice place for lunch with outdoor seating.
Interestingly they claim to not the location until noon due to air quality issues. The food ain't real great, but it isn't bad either. Best fast food you will find in the park. Beware the hornets, they look for meat and grease. Prices are actually pretty good, though imagine they just haven't caught up to recent price increases. Staff are nice, have had interesting interactions, most good. Lots of seating, parking isn't too far off. Will come again in the future, restrooms are next to location. Entrance, counter, and seating are all accessible.
A good place to get a quick bite inside the park. There is no indoor tables. All tables are outside and they all have umbrellas. But it's annoying that you have to constantly defense your food from the tenacious flies.
Standard hamburger/hotdog joint you’d find in a city, serving as expected burgers hot dogs and fries. Really reminds me of Burger King level quality of food, but located in one of the most popular and scenic national parks. Free fountain drink refills. A good fill up after a day long hike.
To be a remote mass fast food, its great. Western burger is very good, better than many restaurants. Excel·lent fries and you can refill drinks. Surpassed expectations for a place like this.
Prices were surprisingly alright for a place in Yosemite. Food was ok at best but after a hike in a national park, I’m just glad there’s food.

Staff was very friendly and helpful when asking about gluten free options. They were able to make most of the sandwiches GF with no up charge!

This park is so mismanaged as far as service goes. The food is ok but truly overpriced even for a touristy place. Poor workers are over worked and understaffed. The national park should be ashamed of how they are allowing this workers to be treated. If you can bring your own food. Hours and demand is constantly changing.
It’s took like 15 minutes to get my burger and honestly I don’t get what I was expect led because of it was just a normal burger, took to long and price maybe because is tourist area. Very crowded during meal hours. It’s ok to get quick bite and drinks here because is convenient are in the valley. Squirrel always mess around outside which is nice to see them.

They were just selling sandwiches. The sandwhich was gross. There wasn't a cashier to be seen anywhere. Four people working the kitchen and 1 or 2 girls at the coffee spot. Poor service, poor food quality for the price. It was also freezing in the building... there was a bucket in the walk way, I can only assume something was leaking. No wet floor signs. Only thing I liked about this place was the Christmas tree.
It’s not a “Grill” if the grill is a microwave. For being at Yosemite National Park, one of the most beautiful places on earth, their food is extremely bland and mediocre. I got an angus burger and my partner got the chili. The chili was good! But this burger… I actually received the food maybe within 10 seconds of ordering it, which means it was either microwaved, or they had cooked more and the burger was just sitting there. To be honest, I think it was both. It was cold and had the texture of school cafeteria burgers. Very basic; tasteless; weird texture; cold. I did not enjoy it at all. I do have to say, the fries are actually okay! Overall, you have no other food options other than this restaurant if you don’t have your own food, so just stay away from the burger and you will be okay.
My hamburger was cold and the bun was dry. Not tasty for an hamburger :/ the price for the quality is not good. The place is very close to the parking. You can have a good choice of sauce as bbq sauce that's nice. But well I was disappointed for the burger

Without a doubt the worst food we’ve had in the park. Chicken sandwich was inedible, burger was cold, fries were soggy. Go to the deli instead!
Food was fine but the service was so slow. The worst part is that the cooks were making the food super fast. It was the white bald guy in the front who couldn’t put orders together. Line was barely out the door and it took 50 minutes. Do not come here if there is a line.
The online menu is wrong. The baskets do not come with drinks, and there is no beyond burger. The food is also pre made and put in a warmer. I had the black bean burger and the lettuce was hot, slimey, and wilted. The bun was soggy because of this. The place was also trashed. There was ketchup and mayonnaise in piles under the dispensers. The fountain soda machine was sticky and clearly hadn't been cleaned ever. There was no mayonnaise left in the dispensar, and there was no utensils besides plastic knives. Definitely didn't expect this kind of garbage from a national park.
The food is poison that should not take more than 5 minutes to cook, but here you have to wait an entire hour to get it. Your liver will appreciate the break but when the food finally comes, oh boy, I hope you brought some antiácid tablets with you. On a positive side this place made me think of the value of fasting. Thank God I had coated my stomach with some kefir I bought at Oakhurst.
While a lot can be excused when visiting a national park, they would not allow any modifications and did not accommodate allergies. The employees seemed miserable. The food was okay, not great, and as they didn’t accommodate allergies in any way it wasn’t a great experience for our group.
Worst experience by the staff Gave the wrong order, when asked about it, she asked me the receipt, but she didn’t have it in the system as we lost our receipt
I found out the plastic staff inside the rotten burger, the salad was expired. They sold plastic pack apple juice instead fresh squeezed juice. They didn’t respond for the complaint. Awful place.
I think your experience will vary depending on WHEN you visit. I went twice. Once when it was slower 1 day, and once when it was busy another day. The non-busy day it was an average experience. 3/5 stars at best. Nothing special. Not bad, not good. If you visit when it's busy, this place falls apart. They become rude, impatient, unhelpful and the food was significantly worse. Additionally, the second time I visited their fryers were broke, so they could basically only serve burgers and a few others things. I understand that things break and stuff happens, that's life, but that does not excuse the absolute terrible customer service experienced at the front counter. I watched 3 people walk out the door pissed off and saying stuff about the place while I was in line to get inside. I only realized after I ordered why they were upset. I will be back to Yosemite to visit, but I surely will not be back to this place.
They are cheating and treating customers as idiots. They charged the watermelon twice. The price of cowboy burger listed is the basket price, which is 15.25. But the casher charged additional 3.75 for watermelon, which should be included in the basket. The manager just said they messed up the menu, but did not refund the additional charge.

It’s a shame the food is so disappointing, especially in Yosemite, where you’d expect something better in such a stunning place. You’ll likely end up eating here only because there aren’t many other options.
